Allah says;
“And give not (your daughters) in marriage to Al‑Mushrikoon [polytheists] till they believe (in Allaah Alone)”
[Surah al-Baqarah, ayah 221].

“O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them; Allaah knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers send them not back to the disbelievers. [Surah al-Mutahanah, ayah 10] .

Narrated 'Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (Sal-Allahu Alahyi wa salam) said, "Allah the Most Superior said, "The son of Adam slights Me, and he should not slight Me, and he disbelieves in Me, and he ought not to do so. As for his slighting Me, it is that he says that I have a son; and his disbelief in Me is his statement that I shall not recreate him as I have created (him) before." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 59, Hadith 4).

yes... what i mean is this;
among d 6, there are 5 that aren't disputable. for the remaining two (imam malik nd ibn majah), it's not so clear.
some scholars prefer to name muwatta ibn malik as part of the 6 cannonical hadiths. so, to some scholars, the OP is wrong.

You can't say wrong
It's an issue where opinions differ and the majority of the scholars are of the opinion that Sunan Ibn Majah is the 6th book, scholars that consider the Muwatta as the 6th book are those from the Malikis and Ibn al-Athir madhabs.
But they are the minority as regards this issue.

They call it Sunan an-Nasa'i, you have not seen it, that's another thing but don't say "you can never see where they call the book sunan an-Nasa'i" That's wrong

The book itself is called Sunan an-Nasa'i, some call it Sunan As-Sughra but saying there's nothing like Sunan an-Nasa'i is wrong.

Sister, I think you should make more findings about this, your claims that there's nothing called Sunan an-Nasa'i is not correct, there's a book of hadith called Sunan an-Nasa'i compiled by Imam Ahmad an-Nasa'i ( May Allah have mercy on him).
And of course, you're right about the fact that the book is also called As-Sunan as-Sughra.

Pls make more findings.

A collection of all of those books of hadith except Imam Malik's Muwatta is what is known as As-Sihah As-Sittah .

Imam Ahmad recorded that `Irbad bin Sariyah said that the Messenger of Allah used to recite Al- Musabbihat before he went to sleep, saying, In them there is an Ayah that is better than a thousand Ayat.

Musa was sent to Banu Isreali, code 17; translates to Surah 17 of the Quran, which is also known as Surah Banu Isreali,
Nabi (Sal-Allahu Alahyi wa salam) was sent to all of mankind, code 114 also translates to Surah 114 of the Quran (Nas = Mankind),
Banu Nadhir of Medina is code 59, because Surah 59 of the Quran (Al-Hashr) is also called Surah Banu An-Nadhir.

Read Joeykembele failed attempts at criticizing Islam and what I saw just got me wondering why the devices are getting smarter and the users are becoming otherwise.

First he started by saying not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims, bros maybe you need to use your dictionary on what the word terrorists means or better still you need to go learn about the deeds of Joseph Kony and the LRA of Uganda, the anti-balaka group of the CAR, Anders Breivik of Norway, the KKK and the Army of God of the US.

Yet ignorantly he moved on by saying Islam is in 2 phases, brother all the religion has more than just 2 phases, Have you ever heard of the word sects, also he said the "real Muslims" are those that kill unjustly, question is how do you even know who a real Muslim is? Bring the verse of the Quran that backed your claims on who a real Muslims, oh, sorry you dont know Arabic.

And how will you know what Muhammed (SAW) would have permitted when you dont even know what he Forbids.

A HOUSE DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF

Assalam Alaykum, Brothers and Sisters on the straight path, in line with the ongoing debate, I'm here to butress the fact on how Muslimmahs make marriage more difficult than the brothers.


When a brother intends to obey his Lord as prescribed in Quran 4;3 (Getting a new wife), and he informs the wife at home, most sisters in this instance will always deal the "It is not fard (obligatory) card", little did they know that this simple action of theirs could pose a huge difficulty in marriage.

At this point, I will love the sisters to spare us the regular daylight tales we hear on how most men aren't capable, most men can't be just, most are clueless and dont know what they want. Sincerely sisters we know all these touching stories, so hang them somewhere and let me prove my point.

It is a known fact (you can verify) that there are more females than males, in places where demographic statistics are kept, there are about 7 milliion more females than males in the US, 4 million more in the UK, 5 million more in Germany, 9 million more in Russia and only Allah knows how many more females than males we worldwide.

Bringing it back to our Nigerian society which is more populous than all the countries mentioned above (save the US), on a barest minimum we will have about 5 million more females and we can put the Muslimmahs amongst them at 2 million. Allah made it so and who are we to question his doings?.

News flash sisters, it will only get worse, maybe we should go revise the hadith of the Prophet (SAW) on signs of the last hour where there will be a 50:1 ratio (Sahih-Muslim, 6452). Where am I going with this?, our married sisters and the soon to be married ones should stop dealing/not deal the "it is not fard" card as this is dangerous.

If all eligible brothers get married today, there will still be millions of eligible sisters, some of whom have been widowed or divorced and are willing to settle down with a Man. Sisters how will you best advice these women cnsidering the Shahadah (La illah illa Allah) bond you share, I am sure if your close relative falls into this catergory you will prefer her be the 4th wife rather than be "public property".

Sisters give flimsy excuses on why they dont want anyone to share their husbands with them and most of them don't hold water. We know not all men are capable of this act, but if by the will of Allah you marry someone who understands Islam the way it should be understood, please dont even try to prevent him from obeying his Lord (with the women ploy).

As husbands and wives we owe ourselves rights, we are to protect, provide, guide and guard our women and the women have no right to tell us to disobey our Lord, neither do we, some brothers want to do so only to seek the pleasure of Allah and Walahi there are women out there who dont mind being a 2nd or 3rd wife, but the one at home is not comfortable with the idea, still nursing the me and my husband policy.

Truth is all of our sisters can't be the first wife, and if by Allah's leave you are, dont you ever deal the "It is not fard" card when it comes to this, some women go all the way to question their husband's intentions, sisters that is for Allah, it is best for you to remain patient and in sha Allah you will be admitted into paradise.

The earlier we Muslims recognize that Islam is the most perfect code of life and living and that marriage is a thing of honor to our women folks the better for all of us. So sisters if you in sha Allah marry a religiously upright brother dont try to stop him from getting a 2nd wife as he knows what he is getting into and how he is supposed to treat his women (financially and emotionally).

Each time you turn him away from Allah's injuctions in Quran 4;3 all in the name of it is not compulsory, dear sister you have made it a little more difficult for one of the 5 million sisters who may be divorced, widowed or still single and desperate to get married without disobeying her Lord.

I do hope the single sisters are not praying to Allah for a not too pious brother. You can never tell, our sisters can do anything to make "My husband" remain "My husband" instead of "Our husband"

May Allah forgive, guide, protect and make things ease for us all. Ameen.

But why should you let anyone lie to you?, lying to you imply two things, either a prove of some form of dominance over you and the person gulping the fibs is just too dumb to see the light no matter how bright it shines. The latter is true in most of the cases because day by day the gadgets are getting more flexible and smarter but most of its users are not. This is about the lies that has traversed generations and still going strong, it is that time of the year again, the season of the MERRY LIES (CHRISTMAS).

Let me break it to you, Christmas was alien to the Christian world till around 354 CE (same as 354 AD). ‪#‎Jesus‬, the disciples, early christians (of over 350 years) all have no idea of what you are feasting about today. Why would they? The date and time of the birth of Jesus as you think it (25th Dec, 1 CE) was not documented in the bible or in any valid historical scroll of that time, even the earliest of the 4 Gospels (Book of Mark) that was written about 65 CE started its account with the Baptism of jesus and the gregorian calendar you all use was not invented until 1582 CE.

The time of Jesus's birth was put at when Herod was the king of Judea (Luke 1;5) or in the era of Emperor Augustus (Luke 2:1). The event then was that of the shepherds watching their flocks at night, in the same part of the country where jesus was born (Luke 2:. If Jesus was born in December in Temperate Nazareth, then these shepherds are either foolish (as no sane man will tend his sheep in a cold wintery december night) or these people are not shepherds as the bible have reported.

You can't blame me for bringing a little logic into this, even Christian theologians themselves have made calculations on when jesus was born based on the historical facts and the little or no clue from the bible but NONE of them arrived at Dec 25th, they have all gotten ridiculously different dates ranging from 6th of Jan (Epiphany of Eastern Orthodox Christians which they hold as their own Christmas), to varying dates between March and November.

But why Dec 25th? This date is credited to the Roman pagans who introduced the holiday of the festival of saturn (Saturnalia), a week long period (Dec 17th - 25th) of lawlessness, during which the Roman courts were closed, widespread consumption of intoxicants, going from house to house singing naked (a pre-cursor to modern day caroling), rape and other sexual licenses and consumption of human shaped biscuits (still produced in some English and German bakeries during the Christmas seasons) were the norm of saturnalia.

Where did it all go wrong? In the 4th century, christian leaders succeded in converting to christianity large numbers of pagans by promising them that they could continue to celebrate Saturnalia as Christians, but as there was nothing intrinsically christian (then) about Saturnalia, these shallow thinking christian leaders named Saturnalia's concluding day (Dec 25th) to be jesus's birthday. More like because they cant beat them (pagans), although a lot of these practices have been modified and feasting method varies with localty, but how do you build castles of gold on cotton wool?

Popular christmas customs; The christmas tree (Worshippers of the Asheira cults recruited by christians and signed the same pact as the roman pagans), The Mistletoe (from the pagan god Balder who was killed by another god Hoder while fighting over a female Nanna, also credited to the Dridic sacrifical cult groups), Santa Claus and the presents (Turkish monk called Nicholas who was raised to the status of a saint and idolized by the pagan group called the Nicholas cult) all have pagan undertones.

Wake up and smell the coffee mates, ‪#‎Christmas‬ is a man-made invention wouldn't have mattered much if it was invented by a righteous christian but NO, you wish to go against your very own bible (Do not learn the way of the Idolaters. Jer 10;2), but what can i do than just talk, the onus is on you and whether you break away from these lies or you make it "chromosomal" for your generations yet unborn is totally your call.

But each time you eat that fine rice and poor chicken (in the name of Christmas) ask yourself how will your so called "lord and savior" feel or maybe you need to re-check 1st John 5:21, Jonah 2:8, 1st Cor 10:14, Jer 7:18, Rev 2:14 and 1st Cor 12;2 to mention a few. I do hope and pray The Creator of the heavens, the earth and all that lies between them, the Lord of Jesus and his mum; Mary (Peace be upon them) ease your tasks and guide you to the straight path.
