Business / You Want To Grow Your Business? Read This by Teheelaa: 3:07am On Sep 15, 2020
The five simple steps you need to grow your business

You must have been worried and wondering why your business is not growing. You see other businesses, even some that started smaller than having massive and incredible growth. This might have given you sleepless nights. But all your worries have come to an end as you will be seeing five lovely steps on how to grow your business with ease.

Research shows that on average, 80% of businesses fail within five year.
Now, you are in luck to come across this article because your business will be among the 20% that will be successful.

The growth of a company is not a single factor as many people think. It is a collection of actions which when combined, reach growth levels many times more than the effort made.
Now, keep calm and consume these five steps that will lead your business to the success journey.

1. Know your ideal customer. This part is very essential in all businesses. If you do not know who your target customer is, anything you do no matter how good, will not make sense. Just take the diaper companies for example. How would it be for them if they focus on students in the universities instead of mothers with kids? You see! It will be pointless. No university student will want to buy diapers. Know your ideal customers and watch your business boom.

2. Have a good strategy. If you don’t have a good strategy, your business won’t grow.
If you focus on your daily work alone and you do not have enough time to plan a valid long-term growth strategy, you should start considering it now.
Your strategies should be where you want your business to be in the short term, in the medium term and in the long term. Know this and know success in your business.

3. Have a modernized brand image. Outdated images of your business do not attract clients. People get bored easily and always want new things. Give it to them. Times change, fashions change, customer’s perception of them also. I am not saying your logo should be changed all the time. You can change your flyers and other designs.

4. Invest in marketing. Are your marketing methods outdated? Are you still using the sales method of decades ago that no longer work at this age? Market, tastes, customs and everything related to business has evolved over time. Marketing is getting ahead of how you want to be seen by your customers, telling the story yourself and not being told by others for you.
Many businesses fail because they have refused to adapt to the new reality of technology and online marketing. it is essential that your business have a dynamic, active, decisive spirit and can adapt to the present in all senses.

5. Appear in google and other social media platforms. If you do not appear in any platform, your potential customer won’t be able to search for you. Lack of investment in social media platforms and google makes a business not to grow. When customers search for your products and services, and they don’t find you, it will be as if your business do not exist. And I am sure you don’t want that.
Taking into account these five steps, take action, make them a part of your business daily. Invest in them while carrying them out with enthusiasm and effort, then, watch your business turn around and start increasing.

Nairaland / General / Why You Are Not Making Sales (1) by Teheelaa: 2:32am On Sep 12, 2020
Sales is the oxygen of every business.
You Can't have a business and say you don't Care about sales. It will wreak.

But why are you not having these sales?

1. What is your selling point?
2. When selling, do you focus on your customer or yourself and your products?
3. Are you always talking about you or your customer's pain point?
4. Are you always asking instead of giving?
5. Do you focus on what your products or services are or you tell your customers how it will solve their problem?
6. Do you even Care for your customer? Do you know what keeps them up at night? Their pain point? Their Deepest fast?

Get a selling point. If you're selling waist trainers, be specific. Is it for women who has given birth or for everybody?

Focus on your customer when selling. Don't talk too much about yourself.

Identify your customer's pain point and offer a solution.

Help your customer overcome their fear.

Sell with emotion and not logic
