please, when talking about the 2014 arrears, let's be very clear that its "February, March & April 2014" not just "2014" ....some people went on radio on tuesday last week and just told the Commissioner to pay "the arrears owed 13000 teachers" ....and he innocently said it was the 2016 Pre-biometric omission & that Gov Wike has given directives to that effect.. I didn't blame him for his response.

There is no Rivers state teaching job available on www.rivjobs.ng but people are busy everywhere that they are apply for job. they just register their profile on the site which is not link to any job or imply application for any job. Is the govt not deceiving them?

I think the commissioner said the ministry of education would announce the commencement of the process...... I can't confirm if they have.

I beg ths teachers training that will be starting by 6th august by Rivers state ministry of education what is the selection method. Hw do they want to select the 1000 teachers across the local govt area.

we have just about 270 Senior Secondary Schools and more than 270 Junior Secondary Schools, but lets just say 270, =540. I believe we have more Primary schools than Junior Secondary Schools .....say 300. 540+300= 840

.. so its basically supposed to be 1 teacher per school, with some schools having 2 teachers.

Many of us were asked to upload our assumption of duty certificate and RVSG ID, before proceeding, which I was among.

I also filled incident form to correct my date and month of my birth,
/ assumption of duty date.

More days more development.
If the different between your birthday and primary school graduation is not up to 12 years and above, you must go to court to swear affidavit for declaration of age that will cover 12 years and above. Or you face panel to prove your claim of been below.

It is advisable to go and get your real age or swear affidavit with 12 years in between your birth / primary school graduation, log in to your profile, upload it and go with it on your scheduled date.

Remember to go with your original RVSG ID, not scanned one, because without it you wouldn't get your new ID card.

If you have misplaced your own ID Card, go to court and get affidavit, so that the new one will be giving to you.

We are also asked to photocopy our FSLC , write our ID card number, computer number, our phone number and our name at its back.
The most important document to go with are.
1. Appointment letter
2. Birth certificate
3. FSLC
4. Local government ID
5. Assumption of duty certificate
6. RVSG ID Card
7. Confirmation letter ( if you have)
8. BVN printout ( for bvn number)
9. Payslip ( if you can get your own)
10. Change of name publication/ certificate (if you have change name)

i had my FSLC at 10 years and they didn't question me. they just looked at my Birth certificate, saw it was RVSG issued, and moved on. i think suspicion and questions start arising when its Affidavit, or it was issued out of Rivers State Govt hospital.... or out of Rivers state completely.

Dr Gogo Jaja while reiterating Sunday last weekend, on 92.3fm, that there was School on Mon 28th May(Last week also) warned schools to follow the RVSG Primary & Secondary school's calendar, which he said included Mid term break on 8 & 11 June.... that's as official as I know.

Her school name is Gospel international school Ahoada. She was on low cut on that 28th February 2018, been Wednesday, the incident took place.

It all happened on the 28th morning as she was going to school, her mother, that is my wife dropped her and her senior brother near the school compound as usual and left them, then at the entrance of their school compound, unknown man on black eye glasses stopped both of them.
He gave the senior brother money to go and buy biscuit, on returning back, he didn't see his sister and the man.
Today makes it four days we are looking for her.

Please should in case your neighbour buy a girl of that age in the name of adoption, please help me look at her properly, even in the motherless baby's home, if you see any resemblance like her please notify me.
I really need your assistance, I strongly believed that Almighty God will bring her back to me alive. Please share her picture on any available social media, until it get to those she is in their custody, and they will willingly send her back to me. I know that My God will do it.

The update of our documents is real. The advert is boldly pasted on the schools board (SSSB) port harcourt. My principal went there on friday and snapped it for teachers in my school to see.

I wonder why the RSSSSB & RSUBEB can not just open a Face book group, a closed group for staff so all these info would easily be disseminated.
