Romance / The Dangers Of Using Adult Dating Websites And Apps by tellonos(m): 6:03pm On Nov 09, 2019
You may have visited an adult dating website. Most of these websites have very enticing advertisements on their pages, about their services. They boast membership strength that runs into millions and shares success stories and testimonials on their sites. While adult online dating can be fun and exciting, there are dangers associated with it, which websites that offer adult dating services do not include.

Consider the following before you decide to engage the services of online dating sites.

There is a difference between ordinary online dating and 'Adult' dating service. The word "adult" means you want to pursue a serious, more mature, and sexual relationship with somebody. This makes it different from the usual dating service that we know. That is why when you decide to meet someone from an ordinary dating site, do not expect a casual date. However, the other person expects something more from the other side.

This is the more reason we need to be very careful in giving out personal details about us, our work or residence. You must have developed a very good amount of trust between each other before you can exchange details. Avoid giving details to strangers you barely know, because you met them online. Try not to give out information if you notice that the other party is trying to avoid himself.

Career / Re: 10 Tips To Become A Successful Social Media Influencer by tellonos(m): 5:58pm On Nov 09, 2019
Have you read this?

tellonos:
The internet has a whole lot of benefits for users; from surfing for information to trading and of course connecting with people across the globe via social media platforms. These Social Media platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Some social media users have established for themselves credibility in a specific niche and unique identity. This has, in turn, earned them access to a large audience, and ability to persuade others by their following count, authenticity, trustworthiness and reach. These sets of social media users are referred to as INFLUENCERS.

Influencers usually monetize their social media pages by promoting products, services, or a marketing message on their accounts. Most brands now rely on Influencer marketing for brand activation and product marketing. Influencer marketing is considered cheap and more effecting form of advertising.

I don't have to mention their names, but I am certain that you know them and watch how they spend heavily on exotic cars, vacations, clothes and their beautiful lifestyles. Don't you also want to work from home, make a lot of money, and get lots of good lifestyles?

To become a successful Social Media Influencer, you must consider the following.

1) Define Your Niche: If you are serious about becoming a Social Media Influencer, the first thing to do is defining your niche. List out your hobby or things you are passionate about. It could even be a craft you are good at. Avoid going into a specific niche because others are doing it.

2) Do Something Different And Unique: You are like not going to be the first nor the only one in your chosen niche. There are chances you even know people you have failed in that niche before. The reason they failed is that they were all doing the same thing. Be creative and do something different from your competitors.

3) Choose Your Channels/Platform: Pick and develop your niche around one social media platform. Focus on one channel and be active at it as you can’t possibly be successful on all channels. Take a popular sex therapist, Jaruma for example, she does not have a Twitter or Facebook page. She concentrated her energy on growing and branding her Instagram page.

4) Design and Plan Your Social Media Strategy: Take a draft and Plan out your content. You can make it in a form of 'List of Content' you want to work with for a specific period. Also, decide the frequency of your post and ensure you post at regular intervals.

5) Content: This is the most important part of this piece. It is about your brand and identity, hence you should invest more time, energy and money in creating great content without fear. Treat this aspect like you were starting a new business venture, wouldn’t you invest money? This is why you should spend money on gadgets, date, and contents.

6) Consistency: My favorite TV News broadcast comes up 10 pm every day of the week without fail. This is what consistency means. I have to tune in once its 10 pm. Posting your content should also be the same way. Your audience should have a reason to follow you and stay with you. They should be expecting your post at a specific time and day. Create new content at regular interval and they will stick to your page.

7) Promotions and Campaigns: This is one of the most underrated aspects of social media influencing. Imagine producing a very fantastic product and locking it up in a warehouse. This is what creating good content without promotion means. You are expected to spend more than 50% of your resources (time, money and energy) in promoting your content. I will tell you how to promote your contents for free in the subsequent article.

cool Collaboration: Another way of growing your social media audience is by working with bigger influencers. You have more to gain doing this than the bigger influencer. I find out this trick way back when I have to engage tweets by bigger influencers. You can also offer certain services to bigger influencers for free while they give you shout out in return.

9) Engage Your Audience: Your audience will be very pleased to see you reply or like their comments and possibly follow back too. This will also strengthen a mutual relationship and loyalty.

10) Data Analysis: This is where you have to review the data about the performance of your social media page. What content is doing well and not? What is the demographical distribution of your audience? Check the analytics of your social media page for these details. Other details include the sex, age, language, location, and interests of your audience.

Lastly, request your audience to tell you what they want to see more on your page. You will be amazed by what their responses would be.

Phones / How To Determine Fake Vs. Real Iphone by tellonos(m): 4:49pm On Nov 07, 2019
With such a huge market share, the "fake iPhone" market has become very lucrative for unscrupulous phone manufacturers. Some of the earlier iPhone knock-offs are so poorly done that it is easy to differentiate a fake iPhone from a genuine one.

However, over time, some fake iPhones cloned so well that they are physically very similar to a genuine iPhone. From the size of the device, the buttons placement, the Apple logo, and other physical indicators of an original iPhone, some fake iPhones are really good imitations.

This article will show you the difference between a fake iPhone and a genuine iPhone. Fake iPhone manufacturers often go a long way just to make their victims believe that what they are selling is the authenticated one. Attempts by police to eradicate fake iPhones from the market have failed.

So the only thing that can be done is to educate people so they won't fall victim and purchase an iPhone from these unethical manufacturers. If you are buying an iPhone from the used market, a classified ad, or some other dealer that is not an Apple dealer, use this guide to determine if the phone you are buying is, in fact, a real iPhone.

How to Find Out if Your iPhone is Genuine
There are three basic ways of checking if your iPhone is a genuine or a fake one. We have grouped them into three indicators - physical, performance, and system indicators.

Physical Indicators
You need to check on these physical signs to ensure that your iPhone is the real one:

1. Check for the screws. The original iPhone uses the pentalobe security screw while the fake one uses the normal cross screws. The pentalobe security screw, from its name, has five lobes that provide a tamper-proof system for the iPhone. This is a good indicator for the consumer to ensure that they are buying the original iPhone.

2. Check the physical buttons. Another physical quality to note is that on the real iPhone, the sleep/wake button is on the top right corner, while the volume switch and ringer switch are on the upper left side. If the switch or buttons are not where they should be, then the phone you are looking at is a fake one. Some fake iPhones have the buttons in the right positions, however, feel the buttons by running your fingers on them. Press the buttons repeatedly to check if they are not loose and are improperly fitted. Clone iPhones have poor button quality.

3. Check the screen. The screen of the original iPhone should be clear and not pixelated. iPhone's screen uses a retina display that has a higher pixel density making the screen look crispier, livelier, and full of colors. Fake iPhones have dull-colored screens due to the low-cost of their parts.

4. Check for the Apple logo. On the back of the phone, you must see an iPhone logo. If you can't find the logo, then it is not a real iPhone. Some clone iPhones are so good in imitating the original ones that they also have the logo at their back. However, you can rub your finger over the logo. You will feel a transition from the phone cover to the Apple logo if you are having the fake one.

5. Check the welcome screen. This is also a must, especially if you can't distinguish the fake one to the original by looking at the physical features. Try to turn off then turn on the iPhone. A fake iPhone will have a welcome screen, like the word "Welcome," while the original one will show you the logo of the iPhone. On the home screen, you will find an iPhone store icon. Try to click on it. If it takes you to the Google store, then you know what to think.

6. Check the font. Another thing that makes a fake iPhone really funny is when you try to check for the font on your messages, it gives you a Chinese character, so you have to configure your phone to enable English settings.

7. Ask how many SIM cards can be used. When you check how many SIM cards run on an iPhone, a dealer of the fake one may proudly tell you that you can use two SIM cards running at the same time. Then you will know you are getting an authenticated fake dual SIM iPhone. The iPhone can only use one SIM card. The original iPhone should bear a label that says it's designed by Apple California and assembled in China. Without this kind of mark, your phone is a clone.

Performance Indicators

The main reason why fake iPhones exist is that people want to get an iPhone at a cheaper price. With the cheaper price of the device comes the obvious poor performance of the phone. These are the obvious red flags:

1. Camera quality. Real iPhones have superior camera quality while the fake ones take bad and blurry photos. A physically convincing iPhone with bad photos, regardless of the lighting conditions, is a possible fake iPhone. Try the other camera modes including video recording and see how bad does a fake iPhone take pictures and videos.

2. Multi-tasking capabilities. Open the Music app then play it in the background. Open another application and check how the phone performs. Fake iPhones have a hard time supporting two applications at a time. iPhones run smoothly even if multiple applications are opened.

3. Quickly scroll between application screens. Do a quick scroll to the left and right of the home screens. The fake iPhone will obviously lag down and won't be able to keep up with your quick scrolls.

Romance / My Husband Wants Me To Quit My Job Because My Ex Is My Boss - Woman Cries Out by tellonos(m): 3:08pm On Nov 05, 2019
Sandra met Tunde in her year one at the University. They fell in love and started dating almost immediately. Tunde was two years ahead of Sandra. Their love story was the talk on the lips of everyone on campus. They were regarded as the best couple on campus. Their relationship waxed even stronger as the years went by.

Four years later, Tunde was done with school and the mandatory National Youth Service. He got a scholarship that would see him travel to the UK for his masters. He discussed this with Sandra and reassured her that not even the distance could come between their love for each other. They agreed to keep in touch and vowed to wait for each other. This was in 2014.

Sometime in 2016, Tunde and Sandra lost contact. No calls. No text. His known communication channels had become unreachable. This had put Sandra in some sort of dilemma. She waited for two years, there was no hope in sight. Her friends and family members wanted her to move on with her life. She refused and waiting for two years... hoping Tunde would show up. No way.

Fast forward to 2019. Sandra got married to Dipo sometime in June 2019, after ten months of courtship. They met in the church. Sandra is an usher while Dipo works in the church as the Head of the Choir/Music Department. Dipo is on the payroll of the church. 80% of their wedding expense was taken care of by the church. They even got a well-furnished rented as a gift from the church.

The two-bedroom flat apartment had one year already paid for. Meaning, they have to continue paying three hundred and fifty thousand naira at the expiration of current rent. Sandra had to intensify her search for work. Dipo was not earning enough and Sandra was still jobless at the time.

Sandra got called up for an interview with an oil servicing firm. In her first meeting with the recruitment agency, she was assessed for the role of a Customer Service Officer, which was a much lower rank. The first stage was successful. Her resume was cleared and forwarded to the employer's HR team for further assessment. She was offered the job, a bigger role as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. What a leap! She was placed on N800k/month ($2,200/month) salary with other juicy incentives amounting to N300k/month ($830/month). She was very happy. She can't wait to pick up Job Appointment Letter and resume work.

Now her offer letter was ready, but she has to meet with the managing director first. She will be working directly with the MD. Sandra was scheduled to meet with the MD at 12pm. She was already at the office at 9 am. She was not ready to take any chances, especially with the kind of traffic gridlock in Lagos. At about 12:05 pm, Sandra was invited into the MD's office for a final chat and behold... the MD is Tunde.

Career / 10 Easy Steps To Start A Profitable Graphic Design Business by tellonos(m): 10:46am On Nov 01, 2019
Graphic design is a visual communication and problem-solving process through the use of typography, photography, and illustration. This is considered by many as a subset of visual communication and communication design.

Graphic designers create and form visual representations of ideas and messages by creating and combining symbols, images and text. In other words, they create visual compositions using typography, visual arts, and page layout techniques.

Graphic designs are commonly used for corporate designs (logos and branding), editorial designs (magazines, newspapers, and books), wayfinding or environmental design, advertising, web design, communication design, product packaging, and signage.

It can be an exhilarating and exciting adventure starting a graphic design business, whether you’re hoping to work for yourself full-time or just make a little extra money from an on-the-side graphic design business.

I want to show you 10 simple and straightforward steps to start a graphic design business as itemized below.

1. Get Your First Graphic Design Client: For you to become a successful graphic designer, whose focus is how to stay in business, instead of going back to your day job—then the most important task is getting your first clients.

This is because you don’t have a business without clients. And if you don’t have a business, you are just a hobbyist, not a graphic designer.

Many Graphic Designers failed because they waste time building a portfolio with a business name, invoices, and doing other tasks that won’t ultimately help them become a successful graphic designer.

Finding your first graphic design clients will give you confidence, momentum, and traction from which you can become a designer even faster.

As a freelance graphic designer, there are a couple of ways you can find your first clients. Here I will share with you two of the quickest and most effective ways a freelance graphic designer can find clients.

(i) Search for easy-to-get graphic design jobs on freelance job sites like Fiverr, Upwork, SolidGigs, Flexjobs, FreeeUp, etc.

(ii) Explore your network. You can also tap into your network of friends, school mates, family members and colleagues in your workplace. This is something you can (politely) tap into to help you become a successful freelance graphic designer.

2. Brand Yourself And Name Your Business: After getting a good number of clients, you can start thinking of having other elements of how to become a freelance graphic designer. First of this is branding yourself and adopting a business name for your brand.

There is a debate about whether you should use your name or a business name. If your goal is to stay a one-person business forever, then use your name as the company name. But if your goal is to grow your freelance business to be bigger than just you, you may want to consider coming up with a name for your design business.

3. Build A Minimum Viable Graphic Design Portfolio: One of the most critical elements of becoming a successful graphic designer is by building a minimum viable freelance portfolio.

By “Minimum viable” I mean your ability to provide answers to questions that bother on your competence and quality of service delivery. You should build a small but concise portfolio that highlights only your best work and encourages visitors to hire you.

4. Over-Deliver For Your First Clients. The next critical step on your journey to becoming a successful freelance graphic designer is to ensure your clients are very happy. Where you find your clients, whether your network or freelancing websites, does not matter, each client represents an opportunity for more work.

A satisfied client is most likely to hire you a second time or refer you to a potential client. You might even be able to convert your one-time client into regular, recurring revenue by getting more design client referrals.

5. Master Proposals, Invoicing, And Paperwork: Apart from learning how to get clients and doing great creative jobs as a freelance graphic designer, you’ll also need to run your design business.

That means learning how to write an invoice, drafting and sending proposals to your clients, working with contracts at times, and lots more.

Their loads of freelancer invoicing software you can get online and use to make your life easier.

6. Avoid Being Too Picky Too Fast (that’ll come later): Some professional graphic designers will tell you about becoming a freelance graphic designer is to never compromise and always be selective about the kinds of clients you take on.

This idea of being "picky" only makes sense if you’ve been a freelance graphic designer for years, and have built enough viable portfolio. But for newbies, who are getting started and are trying to figure out how to go about the trade, this advice is flawed.

If you are "picky", chances are you will turn down many freelance design jobs because of poor pricing or you dislike the kind of projects they send you, This will risk disconnecting yourself from potential clients before you ever become a freelance designer.

7. Build Your Network And Utilize It: I encouraged you in step 1 to tap into your network to find clients. Once you’ have utilized your current network, however, you will find the need to grow that network to continue to find new work.

One of the things about how to become a successful freelance graphic designer includes meeting new people, provide value to people and developing relationships.

The truth is, your network is the most valuable aspect in becoming a successful freelance graphic designer.

8. Always Be Finding New Clients: One of the biggest complaints and turn off of becoming a freelance graphic designer is the feast-famine cycle. That is, have plenty of work this month, and not nearly enough work next month. In other to escape this feast-famine cycle of freelance design, always be looking new clients.Even if it requires you to do some extra work you have to do; no matter how many client projects you currently have; no matter how swamped you feel;Dedicate a good amount of time each week for client outreach activities such as cold-emailing, networking, or SEO.

9. Collect Payments On-Time: Like every other business, if you don't get paid you won't last long. For the reason, to become a sucessful freelance graphic designer ensure you collect your payments on-time.

10. Use Every Chance You Have To Get Referrals: Most successful freelance graphic designers I have spoken with told me they get most of their business through word-of-mouth marketing. At the early stage of this journey, automatic word-of-mouth promotion may be difficult.Aks your existing clients to refer you to potential clients. Each time you deliver a project on time and at exception quality is an ideal time to ask if they have any friends, acquaintances, coworkers, or colleagues who might.

This shit does happen though. Know of a gym that operates like a love-vendor club. So annoying!
