Gazette newspaper.
The Baxters have been married nearly
80 years.
They started dating and were married on
August 22, 1936. They'll celebrate their 80th
anniversary this year.
"She just hung right onto me. She met (me)
on the 17th of January, and boy she got me
married the 22nd of August," Gene Baxter
said.
The couple traveled, had three children and
still tease each other.
"We both got older and smarter. She has been
real good -- a terrific wife," he said. "Couldn't
ask for anything better."

A spokesman for Australian tycoon Clive
Palmer has told news media that the
project to bring an exact replica of the original
ill-fated ship has been pushed back from 2016
to 2018.
The new ship will be practically identical to
the original luxury liner, which famously sank
in April 1912 after striking an iceberg on its
maiden voyage.
The only difference will be that the Titanic II
will be wider, have a welded and not riveted
hull, and have more lifeboats.
"The new Titanic will of course have modern
evacuation procedures, satellite controls,
digital navigation and radar systems and all
those things you'd expect on a 21st-century
ship," James McDonald, the global marketing
director of Palmer's company Blue Star Line,
told the publication.

The 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze, Imo State, has
arrested nine suspects for illegal bunkering,
three kidnappers and one suspect for
possession of firearms.
According to Brigadier General Kay Isiyake, the
Public Relations Officer of the brigade,
Captain A. Y. Gingina, said that the brigade’s
operation titled “PULO-SHIELD” is saddled
with the responsibility of curbing illegal oil
bunkering, pipeline vandalism and kidnapping,
On the seizure of two trucks belonging to the
Dangote Group that were involved in the oil
deal, he said that one of the trucks with
registration number KMC 136 ZY was loaded
with 22,000 liters of substances suspected to
be crude oil, adding that the truck was
arrested through a tip-off.
Gingina said that on 7 January, his men
deployed to Port Harcourt–Owerri road
arrested four suspects namely Anas
Mohammed, the driver of the truck belonging
to Dangote; Abdul Majid Aliyu, his conductor;
Christian Nnochiri, the loader of the product
and Ejima Emeka the owner of the crude oil
product.

Looking it from this view, supreme court upheld elections of Ogun, Oyo, Lagos and other northern states that were held in April 2015, the same day elections were held in SS and SE and opposition parties that charged to court in SW nd northern states pointed out similar reasons that APC in SS nd SE did also but Supreme court upheld the elections in those states. Why is that you must wail when it is the turn of elections in SE and SS?
