sillysassysally:
It is up to you to decide if it is worth it...You need to genuinely justify the cost to yourself;

Here are some questions you may want to ask yourself;
1. Is the program STEM
2. What's the placement/employment prospect of the program like
3. What's the ratio of the loan to your current earnings
4. What do you want to achieve post-program
5. What stage are you in your career

With that said, I would encourage you to ask for more scholarship money before you accept the admission offer. Send a compelling email to the program director and create your case. This has worked for almost everyone I know that did it (Myself inclusive)

The course I picked is psychology and I am a 17 years old girl. I was giving a conditional offer for their bachelor's and master's accelerated program, I also don't have a program director now will find out my 3rd year into the program. I have also emailed the school admission office and was told no they can't increase my scholarship.

tbh 40,000 loan is a HUGE COMMITMENT! Even US citizens are usually indebted till thier demise due to student loans. Think about it deeply sir.
I am 17 years old and a girl. I know US citizens are usually indebted because of student loans but I like the idea of finishing my bachelor's and masters program within 5 years.

I was admitted to Drexel University for their bs/ms accelerated program with a scholarship of 28,000 dollars and the school fees is 68,000 dollars. I want to ask if it is worth it to collect a loan of 40,000 dollars and try to increase my scholarship for my 2nd year when I enroll.
