I did Master of telecommunication engineering in Australia and got a positive assessment with EA for Telecom Engineer through it. Also, I have already done an expression of interest in that skill in some states in Australia without claiming points for work experience because of some complexities involved from my employers in Nigeria. But I changed my career during COVID-19 and have been working as DevOps/Cloud Engineer for over a year. I want to rely on getting assessment from ACS and, if possible, get points for cloud/DevOps skills too. Firstly, I want to know the right ANZSCO role to apply for as a cloud/DevOps engineer is not specified explicitly on the list. Secondly, I want to know if I can do the Post Australian Study pathway as my degree is closely related to IT. Please, I need someone to help or refer me to someone that can. |

bellong: Thank you so much @bellong, @tunlex01 and other experts in this forum, for always helping. Please, I will appreciate guidance from anyone that has gone through this route (i.e. ACS assessment after changing career, especially to DevOps/Cloud Engineer). I am thinking of choosing analyst programmer as the option in ANZSCO Code. Please help in any way you can or refer me to anyone that can. |

Hi everyone, please I have some concerns that require the input of experts in the house. I did Master of telecommunication engineering in Australia, and I have gotten a positive assessment with EA for Telecom Engineer through it. Also, I have already done an expression of interest in that skill in some states in Australia without claiming points for work experience because of some complexities involved from my employers in Nigeria. But I changed my career during COVID-19, and I have been working as DevOps/Cloud Engineer for more than a year now. I know I will have to do an assessment with ACS on the new job, but I am getting confused about it. I am thinking of claiming 5 more points for working in Australia for 1-3 years to boost my point. Is anyone in a similar situation please help. Please, what can I do? @bellong @tunlex01 |

Okonowele8: Thanks, bro for your response. I left Nigeria in 2018 so I left the company in 2018. I can only claim 2013-2018 if there is tax clearance to show that |

Hello everyone, please I have some concerns that require the input of experts in the house. I have gotten a positive assessment with EA for Telecom Engineer. However, I have not assessed my years of experience because of the complexity of the process. I only got payslips and an employment letter but I can't get tax clearance or pension slip from the Nigeria company. Although, the company is willing to pay for all those years, but I am concern it will not reflect the years(2013-2018) as it will just be paid this year. Please what can I do? @bellong @tunlex01 |
