Politics / Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Tennessee85: 5:12am On Jan 10, 2022
obaaderemi:
Thank you for this exposé, brother.
I can see it destabilized the little indians. They've been quiet for a while now. But trust them to come back with a vengeance.

But then, this is what we have said for years, Kenya is little beyond Nairobi. What you see displayed by kenyans is just a shiny façade hiding a mud and rotting structure behind it. Whereas countries like Nigeria have open forums where they discuss their problems, Kenya hides its own problems behind fake figures and content with what's going on.

There's no way you can compare Kenya with Ghana or Nigeria. They admitted Ghana was better than Kenya on the other thread. I don't know why the Ghanaians are still arguing with them. If I were a Ghanaian I would just dig out such posts and fling it at them anytime they write nonsense.

Nigeria has got serious problems that look so intractable. At times I wonder how we got here but I look at the structure and especially our northern problem and make a kind of meaning out of it all.

But I just can't make any meaning out of Kenya's myriad of problems. They're small and so indebted. They have more than enough land mass for their population yet the slums keep growing. They have land yet starve. They're relatively peaceful yet the economy remains so small.
And I don't understand how the kenyattas have been able to pocket the country for so long.

But to be honest, I like the longsuffering contentment of the masses of Kenya. They hardly talk I'll of their country. And I like what the Europeans have done with wildlife and nature in Kenya and East Africa. Lastly I also like what they've done with power supply. At least they ensure Nairobi has a good supply. But Kenya can be a lot better if the people are more daring.
You guys are just baselessly and shamelessly arguing over what shithole is better or worse than the other. Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya are all despicable shitholes. You Africans should have shame for once na

Typical African mentality
It's called respect.
You don't believe in religion,fine
I believe in religion, that my choice, respect it.
If you go about with intentions to make mockery of my faith, that shows you don't have the capacity to operate in a civilized social enclave.
I don't respect your so-called "faith" that's nothing but a cocktail of absurdities, superstition, myths, and fairytales.

So painful bro. See how these dumb Africans foaming at the mouth over the molded image of fictional Jewish characters, same way the blockheaded African Islamic fanatics could behead you because of some long dead Arab paedophile. Smh.

Lol, isn't it amusing, hypocritical, and ironic when Christians call Muslims idiots and vice versa? I mean, they both believe in batshit-crazy illogical myths and fairytales, lol.

Go back and read your comment.
Igbos should be united, it doesn't matter who leads, but who can take the Igbo nation to the promise land, your statement can bring rancor.
So if Anambra who is the supposed leader of the Igbo nation lacks the will power to lead the agitation, should Abia another state with vibrant men fold there hands.
Abaribe has more will power than Soludo in terms of the agitation of Igbos. He is pro biafra and I think the only govt office holder who has been outspoken about the agitation.
Igbos should unite to achieve their goal, enough of all this divisive statement, who is core Igbo and who is not.

Mind you am just a Niger Deltan from a sister state who believes Igbos have been marginalised enough.
Please, can you show me how Igbos have been "marginalized"?

Awww! Did you do History in school? Samuel Ajayi Crowther was a slave boy who got favour from his master and was freed. Hence he was able to return and be useful for motherland.
Samuel Crowther was never a "slave boy" in the truest sense of the word, and was never "freed" by any master. Crowther was one of the fortunate Emancipated or Liberated Africans (who were taken to Sierra Leone) that got rescued from South America-bound slave ships by the anti-slavery British Naval Squadron that patrolled the West African coasts. And you were asking me if I did History in school? Irony is dead!

You don't know what the hell you're talking about. If I told you to cite a reputable source to prove that most returnees are Awori and Egun now, you'll start beating about the bush. The returnees - both the Sierra Leoneans (Saros) and Brazilians (Aguda/Amaro) were from the hinterland of Yorubaland who only chose to resettle in Lagos for convenience. The Placido Assumpcaos (Alakija) were originally from Ikija in Abeokuta, the Da Rochas were originally from Ilesha etc. Stop disseminating erroneous, ahistorical information.
