It is true that hope defereth makes the heart sick.
Difficult times shall come, but in Christ Jesus we have our peace. The storms that come to the believers are always peculiar (cares of this life plus the fact that you are identified with a kingdom that is against the satanic kingdom), but the moment you cast your cares, anxieties on Jesus, peace returns.
Our Lord Jesus Christ too had to pass through the storm. At that point, it seems it is not going to be well. It made Jesus cried Eloi Eloi.

Cast all your cares on Jesus for He cares.
You need peace of the mind to hear God guide you. When the heart is troubled what you hear are noises of storms.


Challenges are for a while. It shouldn't last long
I checked Google to know how long storms can last. I found out that it is between 12 and 200 hours. That is 8 days. If it lasts beyond that day then there is a problem. The storm has to be end if not the heart will become sick.

HOW TO MAKE THE STORM CEASE

Joy gives strength to persist and if you persist you will overcome.

While waiting, take lessons. Maybe God is teaching you some lessons about character, faith, power etc.

3. Pray

Men ought always to pray.
Jesus kept praying at the moment of His trials.
Talk to God even though He is not talking back to you. It is the moment we should exercise faith.
It is the moment we remember everything we have been learning from Bible studies and apply the knowledge.

4. Focus on Jesus
Don't bother about issues.
When we worry about the problem,we prolong the storm.
David wasn't seeing Goliath. He was focusing on the power of God to defeat an uncircumcised Philistine.

5. Speak to the storm
It was until Jesus spoke to the storm, the storm ceased. What happens if Jesus hadn't woken up to speak to it. The storms would perhaps continue.

6. Be at peace

There would be troubles so long you identify with Jesus, but in Jesus we have our peace. By faith rest upon the Lord. Remember His promises in His words and just relax. Jesus really cares so much about you.

Do not go back because of storms, face it with rejoicing, prayers, etc.
The same energy it takes to move forward is the same it takes to go back.
God is not pleased with those who turn back. Like the remaining 10 spies. Putting the hands to the plough means you have signed for all of these. If you turn back, God will not be pleased with you.

There is still hope and victory shall surely come if we don't lose heart.
