France is not being taken over by a non-native population. Have you ever been to France? Have you ever seen Africans in higher positions. Africans are always in the lowest of positions in France.
not entirely true at lease for the black ones
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas-Alexandre_Dumas
General Alexandre Davy de la Pailleterie, also known as Alexandre Dumas, (25 March 1762 – 26 February 1806) was the famous African European general in French history and remains the highest-ranking person of color of all time in a continental European army. He was the first person of color in the French military to become brigadier general, the first to become divisional general, and the first to become general-in-chief of a French army. Dumas shared the status of the highest-ranking black officer in the Western world only with Toussaint Louverture (who in May 1797 became the second black general-in-chief in the French military) until 1989, when the American Colin Powell became a four-star general, the closest United States equivalent of Général d'Armée, Dumas's highest rank.

the highest form of colonialism is when your head of state in an african country doesn't even have an African name. It's like going to Asia, europe or south america and finding one of their leaders using fully Nigeria, ghanaian or Zulu name

400 years of Portuguese influence will do that to you wink. plus his parents are from São Tomé and Príncipe

Afam4eva: When citizens go all out to protest the expulsion of foreigners from their country, calling themselves racists and getting support from important personalities in government then you know the country is serious about getting rid of foreigners. This is the Israel that a lot of people don't know about. I can tell you that all Arab countries tend to be more welcoming than Israel yet it's the Arabs that are always being taunted in the media and by people all over the world.
this is why

collynzo2: Stûpid post! Have you asked your self why whites were in the position to travel down here and colonize is in the first place? While our fore fathers were still living in bushes and caves, these people were buliding ships and sailing the world. They are a lot more advanced than us, why it is like that, I don't know. No need to deny the truth.

black africans may have been less "advanced" but that does not mean they did not have culture and lived in "bushes"

Most countries that were colonized by foreigners(whites) are very underdeveloped today.

I believe underdevelopment of colonized countries have something to do with colonialism.
no most of the African countries are underdeveloped.

Yah I'm aware of the "manifest destiny" thing that happened. However, today in states like California where 35% of the population is Hispanic, there is a good chance there are more Hispanics than white people in that state. Most of the Hispanics (not all) are of Mexican descent or origin. There are many areas in Mexico (if you utilise Google Street view) that look just like California, Arizona, New Mexico, and western Texas.
yea most of "traditional" American culture comes from the south.

Fulaman198:

That may be true overall, however every country has its good and bad areas. Nigeria is a large country, Mexico is as well. There are parts of the United States where you can pretty much call Mexico because of similar culture and Spanish language domination (California, Arizona, New Mexico and Western Texas).
true because they were part of Mexico

The United states has parts that are very similar to Mexico, to say they are very different that's a complete misunderstanding.

It is like saying California and Mississippi are the same. Culturally speaking Mexico and United States are not very different. The policies set in place are very similar. Are you going to compare Mexico City to Cancun?
to be fair this was Mexico before America took over

It is, it is bordered with the United states. Mexico has a system similar to that of the United States, the only difference is the European language they speak

Mexico's official language is Spanish (Espanol) and United States speak American English.
Mexico is very different from USA.
