kolinton007: Text message received from number ending in 91. I'll send more photos to the WhatsApp number indicated in the message on the morrow. The chairs have been used for roughly 2 years. |
![]() |
AntyLydia: Not selling the sedan now...will upload it and put its price tag when its time. |
![]() |
Stevenbright: For these, the prices are fixed and firm: 50k each. Attached are photos: both are even 'neater' and 'cleaner' when seen in person. |
![]() |
Stevenbright: The bike and TV stand are pegged at 50k each. I'll upload photos when Nairaland permits me. Or, reach out and I'll share the photos with you on WhatsApp. |
![]() |
Stevenbright: The chair set is what you see in the photo. The TV is what's on the wall. The TV stand is also going plus the glass table there. The chair set is 200k, fixed - they're exactly as they look in the photos, without rips or anything to disclose. The Sharp LED is 50k, fixed too. Works perfectly and has never been repaired. Nothing to disclose here too. The bike is what I'll upload later. It appears Nairaland is throttling what I can upload so I need to take it easy. I can however, send the photos for you via WhatsApp. |

fyzaila: 400k, very slightly negotiable. 7kg wash/4kg dry. Fully automatic. Nothing to disclose here: the unit is as good as new and every function works as it should. More photos are available on request. |

TerTheFirst: For some strange reason, I'm getting errors when I attempt to upload photos. This has been persistent. If you're interested in the freezer (Thermocool, 126 liters), Washer (LG, 7kg wash/4kg dry), MTB adult bike (and 2 other bikes for kids), the chair set and the 2.5 KVA generator, reach out to me on 0.7.0.4.8.7.0.7.5.5.9. directly and I'll forward them to you via WhatsApp. Will keep trying and as soon as I can upload photos here, will proceed. I'll proceed with the next tranche when these are sold so as not to overwhelm myself. Apologies. |

I'll update this thread later in the day when the sun's up. I need light to shoot some of the photos. For everyone who has indicated interest, I'll respond directly with the photos once I get good light to shoot them. |

G12: I plan for this to go last, as I actively still use it. Will keep the thread active and update the photos when it becomes available. |

More photos of the dining set... The dining set has an asking price of 150k (negotiable). Full disclosure: one of the chairs will need to have one or two of its seater frames changed. I had an extra large visitor stand on it and the poor thing gave way. This disclosure is for transparency's sake: you're likely not to notice this on an ordinary inspection. |

Here's the dining set, ready to go. This dining set has been SOLD. |

Hello everyone, My family is relocating and everything we own as a family is up for sale (excluding laptops, phones, clothes etc.) For sale is: 1. 2. A standard living room set (4 pcs). 3. 4. 5. [s]A 1.5 KVA hybrid inverter system (Homaya), 2pcs of 200Amps Quanta SMF-VRLA batteries and its solar panels; 2 pcs 380 watts mono panels.[/s] NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE NOW 6. 2 gasoline generators (2.5 KVA - TEC and Sumec). 7. [s]An LG automatic washer/dryer, 7kg wash and 4 kg dry.[/s] SOLD 8. A mountain bike. And everything else a house usually has. Selling these things is going to be hectic for me so I decided to start early - and sell in bits, starting with what we're not using most - which is the dining set. I'll gradually upload photos of the other items as they become 'free' to go. If you have anything in mind, let me know (even if it isn't listed here) - before someone else grabs them. Please note 1. I prefer clients who are residents of Benin city or have someone who can check out the items for them as buyers will be responsible for transporting the bought items. 2. All receipts are intact and will be made available. In the rare event that a receipt cannot be found, I'll be happy to take an interested buyer to the shop where the item was bought for verification (almost all the items were bought in Benin City). 3. All items are clean - and are exactly as shown in the photos. Here's the line to call: 0.7.0.4.8.7.0.7.5.5.9 Update: 11th April, 2024 Most of the items posted here are no longer available. For clarity, here's what's still available: 1. 2. 1 TEC 2.5 KVA gasoline power generator. 3. A tempered glass center table. 4. 5. A mountain bike, one kid's bike, and a toddler plastic tricycle. Please, note that I'm busier than usual and may not update this thread or respond to questions here immediately. However, I try to answer all my calls and return all missed calls. This round of sales is now closed. All items we need to sell at this point have been sold. Thank you all for your interest. |

theadeola: I initially had WhatsApp in mind. Unfortunately, the response here (and elsewhere where I shared the same lines) isn't encouraging. It appears folks here don't fancy the DIY culture as I had hitherto imagined. It will be a long and lonely road for me, I'm afraid (at least, in the coming months). To cushion the loneliness on the chosen path, I've started working on a YouTube channel and will later on host a website where the journey will be documented and hopefully, will build a community of kindred spirits from there. That audience base/target, unfortunately, will not be Nigerians (at least, a large chunk of it). If you're however still interested (and comfortable with the adjusted plan), kindly reach out to me privately and I'll be happy to share notes provided you're also willing to occasionally help me during challenging auto DIY times. Thanks for your time; it is appreciated. |

Conner44: Sweet. However, I'd lean away from basic Bluetooth scanners; bi-directional options take off the more than 95% of the guesswork and ensure more certainty in diagnostics. Though very expensive, they are, IMO, worth their price. You should take a look. |

Conner44: Oil/filter changes are a walk in the park. I was simply too lazy to do it myself/plus I always bundled it with other preventive maintenance such as throttle body/MAF cleaning, tire rotation etc. and paid for them at once so never bothered doing it myself, directly. After deciding to go DIY and fire the Kazeems in my motoring life, I discovered that I still have about a month and some days on the OCI I run (M1EP paired with Fram US, good for a year or 20k miles, whichever is first). This explains the 'learning jump' ![]() About the scanner: I already have a mid-range option now (have always had it as far as memory serves). Looking to upgrade to a high end bi-directional model in the days to come (I hope the days are kind). Thanks for weighing in. I'm curious: are you a DIY person too? |

theadeola: I'm thinking virtual sharing...not necessarily physical meetings. BTW, me good? I'm an unrepentant and stubborn learner. Don't think I'll ever 'graduate'. |

Lately, I've been working on handling all my vehicle's challenges/maintenance at home, on my driveway, by myself. The reason is simple: I'm tired of the Kazeem mess and shakara. Plus the trial and error. And, of course, the grass ignorance of the basic working principles of an automobile! Last weekend, I did an over haul of my brake and suspension system: changed linkages, serviced calipers/rebuilt some and did a lot of lubing. While there, I also changed a broken lug stud. While still there, I adjusted the parking brake in a manner no one has ever been able to, prior to this time! In the coming weeks, I'll run an oil change, change the PCV valve, clean up the MAF/throttle body, flush the power steering fluid, flush the brake lines and get to fill up a lot of reservoirs!! I've also changed the AC suction line (complete, with some help though) and charged things up, myself. After the charging, two vents were cold while the other two were warm. I troubleshot it myself and fixed things up, getting Canada level cold via all the vents without any physical help around. I'm beyond happy; everything worked better than ANY Kazeem could have managed! They are, as a matter of fact, as good as new now!! I intend to work to more complex tasks like the engine and transmission if the need occurs (in the future). The grand aim is to fix the vehicle, 100% when the need occurs without calling for ANY external help. This is however a tall order and can be a lonely journey. If you can swing a wrench and are interested in fixing your car in a DIY manner, buzz me up; we can be of help to each other. Very Important: Please, only reach out if YOU CAN SWING A WRENCH! I'm not looking to tell you what a 15mm socket is or help your mechanic fix your vehicle! I'm looking to help you with a challenge I've mastered with the full expectation that I'll likely get the same help when my time comes. 2 Likes |

THIS VEHICLE NOW HAS A NEW OWNER. Thank you all for your interest; selling it was hard for my family...I sincerely hope she gets treated with love and respect by the new owner. For the resident nuisances here (without even a bicycle tire who make it a full-time job making their parents regret siring them and the rest of us wondering what it cost to train a child), headed by one Goat who is always Angry, I bade thee all farewell ![]() Till we meet here again (which might be years from now)! 1 Like |

This vehicle is still available. |

This well maintained vehicle is still up for sale; waiting for its new home. The new owner could be you. Buzz me up... |

This vehicle has a passthrough, from the trunk that lowers down (flat) the rear seats to create more cargo/trunk space. If hauling long cargo is your thing, fewer options are better. A sedan by design; a wagon by choice! |

eteebanky1: For a quiet one like you, I'll do only 100k. No need to stress you further. How do you wish to pay? Make I send aza? ![]() |

This is the extent to which this vehicle was pampered. Pictured here is: 1. M1 EP, imported directly from the US, myself (I didn't want to take the risk of buying locally, so I flew the oil in). 2. See those filters? Those are also M1 filters. Imported directly from the US too. Why use great synthetic engine oil with a questionable oil filter? (I later switched to Fram Ultra Synthetic when I discovered that was even better. That was the luxury of the car with me. It was either the very best, or nothing! 3. See those radiator pressure caps? Those are from MotoRad, OEM manufacturer of the best cooling system products for the automotive aftermarket and OEM's. Again, the very best. I did not reason 'belgium' or 'toks' when I needed to change something as simple as the radiator cap! Instead, I went for OEM brand new (not Chinko) and that is the culture I used in maintaining this vehicle throughout its time with me. Now, this vehicle is for sale...at a price well below what the toks is going for. This type of sweet deal doesn't always come around...and it may be some time before I sell another vehicle or you meet a Nigerian vehicle user like me. If you're the new owner I have been waiting for, call me directly, let's seal this: 0-8-1-5-3-3-5-1-8-4-0

Once upon a time, I was going through this section, as I usually do, incognito. I came across a comment that read something like: 'why would you put synthetic oil in a 15 year old car?' I smiled and waka passed. I didn't want to break the poster's bubble because that was clearly, absolute, nonsense. Assuming a vehicle has never been abused, and the engine is as well made as the Toyotas that are made in the spirit of Kaizen, right in Japan, their whole life will run on synthetic engine oil, brilliantly, with the exact specified weight without an issue. This is the case of this '02 Camry. Though 20 solid years old, the vehicle was meticulously maintained before it came to me (the Carfax was super detailed) and I kept up the culture. Now, even as it is older than some folks here, it still holds M1, EP, 5W30 for a whole year, without any top up. The most interesting part? I have never even bothered with the so called 'high mileage' formulation for various reasons, major amongst which is the adverse effect of seals swelling and the lack of dexos approval. And, the cute little lady has done just fine: fires up everyday, quiet as can be, delivers unfailingly, smokes many a V6 on the freeway and unlike Amaka, doesn't disappoint ![]() Now, she is up for sale. If you need something that will serve you for years to come and you're not an abuser yourself, this is it. If you're the typical 'oyel na oil'; '20W50 ma go work'; 'abeg put condemn for the power steering' or 'nothing beats Abro in a tranny' kinda of guy or gurl, you will be better suited for an abused, Nigerian unit, not this one. Like should attract like ![]() |

Minime10: And, here, another! Formation don truly dey set. Anything else you'd like to add? |
![]() |
Angrygoat: And the vulture formation is beginning to take form! I was expecting you...and at least 5 other cretins. What is this section without your meaningless nuisance? Nothing!! ![]() Unfortunately, this is no shit to attract ya kind ![]() |

Smithkline200: ...and, here they come! Food don truly done ![]() 3m? Way too small. My eyes are on 10m! Why land on the trees when you can land in the skies? ![]() ![]() |
![]() |
ehmmy11: True, the epistle long ![]() But, that isn't the problem here. The problem is that an unhealthy majority of Nigerians are in love with herd mentality and also hate to read, while at it. Nothing else explains this! |
![]() |
daamazing: True. Na that variation we go use negotiate, if you're interested. This vehicle is like a member of my family...calling a price on it doesn't just seat right. So, an offer now or after inspection? |
