Parental upbringing(some) is one of our problems in Nigeria.
If you are a Tailor as a parent let your children know much about the work and train them in school
If you are a bricklayer. Let your male children know deep about the work and train them in school
What I meant by parental problems is the fact that some parents don't expose their children to the work that bring them daily bread in the family. Especially Yoruba parents. All they believe in is education then start using the yeye certificate to look for yeye job that does not exist anymore. Let's change our views. Well things have started changing now in 21st century. Our eyes are opening more more. See the young boy now I believe this was his mother business b4 he develops interest in it.
This is absolutely true, parents really need to involve their children in their business or vocation, let your children know what you do right from when they're still little.
One thing I really admire about Mike Bamiloye is the way all his children are involved in his ministry's filmmaking.

My dad is a plumber and I followed him to sites a couple of times when I was really young. I couldn't do the work but I already knew some of the materials, so I was passing them to him. He saw how I easily recognized the materials and their sizes... my dad had to take me to go and learn from one of his igbo friends who was selling plumbing materials. I learnt it and later started receiving salary till I entered university.
I'm still in school and I have serious plans of doing the business when I'm out of school...I even made some cool cash from it before the lockdown. The church I attend in school needed to renovate the toilets, bathrooms and some leaking pipes. I got the mini contract, all I had to do was to look for a plumber, supply the materials and supervise the work. My dad was really impressed when I later told him of what I did.

This news is really heartbreaking..There was a time I used to read in the church too, it could have been me, it could be anybody. May her killers have no rest in their lives...May God grant her eternal rest.

I'm still laughing, on the one end,I'm frustrated with low self esteem, on the other end, I'm proud.
Good luck with your 5.0cgpa, congratulations. How can a faceless person be proud on a faceless forum? Open your brain.
You should take it easy with the way you address people, it'll do you so much good. No doubts about this place being a faceless forum but a good look at how people respond to others can give you some hints about how they are in real life.
With that being said, you're obviously an ambitious person and you shouldn't allow anyone to slow you down or kill your dreams. Two people can't walk together unless they agree. It would have been a lot easier for people to know how to advise you if they went through your previous posts...take some deep breath and really think of what you want. It's like you're just being tossed anywhere. You're still young, don't be frustrated from now.

But, what exactly is our problem in this country?? What is the whole essence of the stayhome staysafe order that we have?? And most of the people on that road are most likely to be learned?? I'm totally appalled.

I'd like to know how to invest it. I know it's a small amount but I don't want it wasting away in my account.

I will advice you leave the guy, you will get better one that will respect you. The reason you should leave him is because you have confronted him, he will start being careful with his runs. He will never let you suspect him again, he will always cheat
Exactly where my fear lies, I'm not sure he won't do something like that again

Believe me sis, you've got one of the remaining coolest and good great guy alive.

A guy remembers you to a side chick and vow never to leave you? Common girl, you won't see any better

Anyone better would be near the church yard, boring as well and probably close to enunch.

Best lovers are best at hiding and keeps a dual personality with each side completely unaware of the other existence.

The holy pass people may be saying otherwise but won't tell you what they are passing through or what they experienced
Thanks for this advice

Hmmm....

If you are sure the relationship is still salvageable seeing how much you still love him coupled with his show of remorse, how about to give yourself time to get over this betrayal, have a deep heart to heart with him on how you won't be condoning such stabs from behind in the future and get on with it.

The truth I see is that, your bf like most of us men never expected you'd see his philandering chats or else he'd have erased every traces of them from his phone.

The remorse could be genuine or more of "I Bleep up..why I forget to erase the chats' and could herald the beginning of a new revamped and international cheater who'd be doing so with the mind of making sure he never gets found out this cheap going forward.

A very deadly mix you now have in your hands..just keep smart, vigilant and let not your guards down.

If your hunches are convincing that he isn't changed...drop his arse like a hot potato and soldier on...

Guys yakpa for town...no time for dulling. ..

Wish you well...
Thanks, I'm taking so much from what you said
