Guys my children visa application just got approved two weeks ago. They are minors (age 2 and 4 years) I sent their passport and original passport request letter to Abuja but it was returned. Please what do I need to add for them to stamp it?

Ok, so, I think I should gist you all...
Key points mainly, so it is not too lengthy!
I paid for my WES evaluation Feb 2020.
Evaluation wasn't ready until Oct 2020 due to back and forth for my Poly, I did two degrees.
I wrote IELTS in Nov and result was out in Dec 2020.
I created an express entry profile and received ITA within 3 days for FSW.
I submitted my application and received AOR Feb 5th, 2021.
There was a deafening silence that I had to come to this Nairaland community for solace.
Mind you, I've been running all my package solo through personal study and research.
I realised some things might have been easier if I were here earlier, but we move.
The encouragement from here and people having similar long wait kept my sanity together.
Requested for GCMS notes in Feb 2022 and received an ADR by Feb 24.
I quickly got the PCC, schedule A and medical done within a week.
After waiting for almost two months after documents have been received, I requested for another GCMS notes, so, it won't look like I didnt do anything.
PPR came in the next day! April 26
Apparently, both GCMS notes were needless!
I'm sure you know the joy that comes with PPR, right?
Dropped off my passport the next day with DHL.
Used VFS lagos because I felt I wasn't in a haste to travel.
I felt I needed the time to look for job and make all my plannings.
I changed my location on LinkedIn to Toronto and applied for a job I saw on glassdoor.
In two weeks, I was poached by 4 recruiters.
Thanks to the Canadian number I got using dingtone which I learnt about on this platform.
Phone call was always their first point of contact.
One of the recruiters terminated the process because I told him I was currently in Nigeria and he needed someone urgently.
I had series of interviews with the other 3 companies.
I received a rejection mail from the company I applied directly to from glassdoor.
Two weeks ago, I got an offer from one of the company, 113k per annum.
I withdrew my application for one of the company which was not in Ontario.
Last week, I received a 2nd offer which I had to decline. 96k per annum.
My flight is booked, my passport came back yesterday, 15th June.
Funny enough, I didn't receive any more message from any recruiter apart from those 4.

Why this long story?
Delay isn’t denial!
God's timing is usually the best!
Do not lose hope!
Yes, you can get that dream job of yours!
You don't have to do a menial job first.
You can get a good job from here.

Be careful guys what you put on your medical records. They don't just go away; they outlive you in most cases.


Yes, you were able to find a doctor that was willing to cut corners but you don't know what he/she wrote on your medical file.

Yes you got what you wanted now ( the process probably saved you 1 or 2 months of waiting) but you don't know what the future holds. Something might happen in the future and then you wish you never had mental health/depression on your medical history. I am just saying; not wishing you bad.

Yeah your medical history is confidential and you're protected by the privacy act but there are situations were it can be released to other agencies, to a judge/Attorney, to law enforcement etc

Do you have LMIA? or what is your LMIA exemption code??
A reputable organization that uses the services of an immigration rep/consultant wouldn't give you a September start date considering the time it takes to process work permits.

The 850$ is for what exactly? Definitely not app fee. Probably a fake invoice intended to suck you in.

Hello my people, please, I just got offer for master in 2 UK universities, one in England and the other in Scotland. My issue is that I have just been diagonised to have High blood pressure and currently being placed on drug. Though is like border line hypertension and have started doing all possible to ensure I manage the situation and if possible be off the drug before the resumption time in January, 2021 but I have been warned that I will still have to be taking the drug even if I'm able to put the BP under control. I understand NHS payment is for health management but I'm confused if the payment will cover prescription or not since I will still have to be taking this drug even in the UK. Also, I read somewhere that I don't need to pay for prescription in Scotland while it is mandatory in England. I don't know how far this is true or not. Please, I need your advise as regard this. Thank you.

Let me step in here, I am also a lawyer writing the NCA in Calgary.

I got my NCA assessment last year Novmeber, before I landed in Calgary in July 2019. To answer your questions:
1. Depending on your NBA branch, for Lagos branch, the letter is addressed to NCA and handed over to you to send by courier yourself. Please note that when sending the letter, use NBA Lagos as the sender, not your name. I know of people whose letters were rejected because they sent the letter using their names. Ideally, the letter should not even be given to you, just like your transcripts, it should be confidential and sent directly by the issuing authority.

2. Law school transcripts will be sent directly to NCA, no interference. Reach out to your contact in Law school, you dont need to travel down.

3. Yes, please. Start the process before you leave Nigeria, so that you can start writing exams as soon as you land, if you choose to. I landed in July and wrote my 1st exam in August, then October and final ones in January. All reading materials can be gotten online and you can start studying before you, land if you have time. Besides, the support system back home is great, unlike here, once you land the rigors and challenges of settling in, looking for accommodation and job, documentations, drivers licence, kids school/daycare etc are not the same as teh ones we face back home.

This is not about parents, I agree every parent has to play his part to bring up the children in good ways.
But I'm not talking about child upbringing or moral here. I talking about some people relocating because they want a safer environment than what Nigeria offers where their children will not be harassed or killed for having dreadlocks or driving good cars, and also in an environment where their children will have better healthcare and education. Like I said before, the lists go on and on.

There are crimes all over the country, but the rates are different. You can't tell me police extort citizens brazenlymin canada like we experience in Nigeria.
Police won't arrest or intimidate you for driving good cars or having dreadlocks in canada.
Police won't burst into clubs and arrest every young guy there and tag them Yahoo guys.
There are better health care facilities, recently, one guy made FP on nairaland who was said to be former moderator here, the guy died of wrong blood transfusion in LUTH. Another woman narrated last week how her child died at same LUTH because doctor failed to show up since night till following morning till the child died.
There is a better education in Canada.
Better roads
Better light.

And there are better chances that their children won't face much uncertainty in unemployment like in Nigeria when they grow up, there are more opportunities there.

These are reasons many people are relocating; not because of money. A lot of people relocating to Canada are doing well in Nigeria but they just want a better environment for themselves and children which I think it is reasonable.

So, the talk about investing the money they use to travel on business is lame to many people; they are doing well already in Nigeria but they think they deserve better country than Nigeria.

Even our president has his leave and rest in abroad, has his treatment abroad, his children have their education abroad. Isn't that a testament to the fact that anyone who has the wherewithal to move out of this country should do so?
