You are on the right track ma.

I think you should have a heart to heart talk with your husband. Show him some of your old pictures. Bring back memories.
Lovefury:
To answer some of your questions.

I am of east African background but British born I have been with my husband from grass to grace we have been through a lot of downs together trust me a lot that even his family don’t know about but I thank God we’re financially very ok.

All of the cheating has been an ongoing issue just because I didn’t post about it but we have even been through counselling etc regarding all of that. If cheating was the most recent issue perhaps I would have started with that but sometimes you get pushed and pushed then one thing pushes you over the edge.

I’m shocked that I’ve been advised to mind my business regarding the land issue. The land issue is a financial betrayal I don’t demand anything from him but to be open and honest. I’m shocked he hid a money issue from me because I have never given him any reason to doubt my loyalty to him. I have always supported him and mind you I am the mother of his kids so of course I want the very best for him because that means the best for my kids.
If I nag then great my intention is only for my husband to be the best he can be and for now Nigeria is not a good financial investment rather it’s just an ego investment.

I did not say his mother insulted me. She is smarter than that she just manipulates situations to suite what she wants. She’s a controlling mum and I can’t have another woman come and control my marriage. You can’t smile in my face then go behind me and do something against me that’s two faced.

he has 5 sisters! 5 sisters and between the five of them not one has any home training but I manage them. You should see me in the house they even lift their leg for me to vacuum under them then tell me their hungry.

I have realised all my mistakes in that I accepted some things that are now burdens to me I’m just fighting to correct this and it needs actions. I have talked myself to death with him without changes.

If she lives in Canada, and has experience as a child care giver then it will be easier.
sistaj:

Don't understand the question how is it possible. She should apply for the visa class she wishes to apply normally saying where is applying from as there is a place on the form it is asked. She will fill in temporary resident in the space provided for that when asked for residency status and for citizenship Nigeria. She will fill her Canadian address where she is staying now.
Travel / Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by tessytessy(f): 5:46am On Jul 17, 2019
True that.

Nigerians don't apply through that route doesn't mean we shouldn't. Na person dey open road. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I wish her the best.
I believe you should have updated information before you start discouraging someone.

Copied from their official website.

Under the new caregiver pilots, applicants will be assessed for permanent residence criteria before they begin working in Canada. Once the caregiver has their work permit and 2 years of work experience, they will have access to a direct pathway to become a permanent resident.

These pilot programs will replace the Caring for Children and Caring for People with High Medical Needs pilots and include:

Occupation-specific work permits for caregivers, providing the ability to change jobs quickly when necessary.Open work permits for spouses/common-law partners and study permits for dependent children, to allow the caregiver’s family to accompany them to Canada.

Note that the new program was set to launch in June.

If you have never seen then she might be the first you would come across.

Same thought.

However, it will be interesting to know how that pawns out.
maternal:

So you're a baby mama wanting to bring your pikin with you to Canada under the caregiver program ? Call it what it is. Canada can prove they're you're biological children. But I don't think you'd qualify under that program if you decide to bring your kids with you. Nigerians barely get a visa for that program. In fact I've never met a Nigerian who has.

Hello Guys,

Have a little concern, I am 5th of March AOR and my application will be 6 months by 5th September.
I intend resigning from my office by the end of this month July, decision was made because my employer is aware of my application for canada PR and he has already hired my replacement to handover.
I also want to take the remaining time prior to my application approval to start preparing for my NCA licensing exam in canada being in a regulated profession.

My question: Is it ok for me to resign before getting PPR, I hope it wont affect my application.
I intend raising a CSE to inform CIC immediately i resign with explanations.
And I already have over 5 years of working experience which makes me eligible Pre ITA and Post AOR.

thanks.

Trust me, prof is the best man for this. Go read about him. Falana doffs for him.

They have done it severally.

You think all these embassies dont know about padding of accounts for visa purposes. Just be genuine and you will have nothing to worry about.

They do randomly ask for one year bank statements (Additional documentation request).

They can actually request for one year bank statement.

Its called Internal Flight Arrangement.

It has even entered as a Judicial Precedent. Once you come with those stories, they will suggest another area in Nigeria that you can move safely. This has made refusal rate for assylum for Nigerians move from 54% as at 2016 to under 24% as at end of 2018.

It is really bad now in Canada. They are quickly processing and deporting Nigerians daily, especially the ones that walk across the America/Canadian Border.
salford:
Gay, Boko haram and genital mutilation don cast for Canada. The format doesnt work anymore. The Canadian government has leant the format due to over abuse by Nigerians. They now tell applicants to move to Lagos then reject the application for assylum.

Romance / Re: An Open Letter To My wife. If You Could Forgive Me Before I Die. by tessytessy(f): 1:25am On Jun 15, 2019
She was with the banker that called her '' baby''. Both of you are not sincere to yourselves. Of course, men are always the ones that would be caught, easily.

Drabeey:
Chapter 2

I'm no more worthy of your forgiveness, we aint even thesame level. That was what a friend told me,he said you are too beautiful to be my wife. He is right you know? I was too blessed to have you. I'm not even worth it, you helped me to chase money, you are never demanding. You love to go that extra miles to get things done.

You can't blame anyone for your faults.... If you miss it or abuse the opportunity/gift God gives you then i should dance to its consequence.

A lady with foresight. You know what to do at exact time to do it. Just a week at my place you already know what would sell fast there. Chai, Albert Einstein mi, 'twale for you'.

I only agreed because i couldn't have said otherwise, you are ready to use your own money. So since you won't be 'wasting' mine, i gave you the go ahead. You started too big (one of the reasons I started to believe you ain't from here). You are an alien, seriously? Who test run a business with a large quantity of production... That risk you took was too high. Well, i expected you to be burnt that day. I wouldn't say anything afterall you told me all i could do is to encourage you. Meanwhile, all the words i was meaning to say that day are meant to discourage you, but you pushed further.

My house later became snacks center, every banker wanted the taste of your doughnuts else they starve. Within a week you had 5 banks under your cover. They were all already glued to you!

Some of them would keep calling my number because yours wasn't going through. Instead of telling them the production for the day has been exhausted, you rather switch off your phone and mine starts beeping endlessly! It distracted my work and i got pissed!

I'm still sorry for the day i called you different names because one of those bankers used 'baby' to address you on phone, he thought you are the owner of the second line you dropped with them, he must have thought you own the two lines.

I came to your place that day and razed hell on you! I kept acting all up and broke one of your mug...... Honey, remember my promise, I'd rather do that than lay my hands on you. I still hold that dear to my heart. I left angrily that day. I was at Gidi'z place. Oh, lest i forget to tell you. His business is booming, Gidi'z place is now talk of town around Ibadan.

People come from everywhere to get splendid haircuts. He is forever grateful to your advise. He pester me with your matters at every chance he has. Can you blame him? My guy is now a celebrity all over Ibadan. Infact, i met Muyiwa Ademola for the first time at his place. He said that was the third time he showed up there. Gidi is always grateful he listened to you!

I was talking about the day that guy called you 'babe' on my phone....
I got home after enough 'shayo' at Iyalaje's place, i wouldn't dare eat anything anymore. I had already pulled all my cloths in the living room. Maybe it was the 'shayo' ? My lights were off, I don't usually do that. It was strange but my brain couldn't process those informations. Shayo na bastard!

I went straight to the bathroom and opened the shower slowly. I was still reminiscing on why i had to call you those sort of names i called you earlier at your place, that was uncalled for. I had decided to call you immediately im settled and apologize before sleeping. Honey you know me, when im sorry, i am. I put up the lights in my room and there you are, elegantly moving your big assets all over my bed. The light shone directly on your lapse and that alone reset my head back to factory settings. You are too much, my georgeous infinite blessings. Babe, you be something ooo, you gave me the best sex I could ever imagine in my life that day. What are you babe? All you wanted from me is to be happy!
Money you no dey ask, you sacrificed more for our relationship than i do!

In chapter 3, i will open a secret honey, do you know i gave you a test and you passed. Till today, remember that my guy from Kuwait, yes that one that respects you alot. He started respecting you because you passed that test. It was all his ideas! He said " 99 girls will fail that test out of 100 ".

It pains me to remember you had to wait across the road, waiting till my neighbour's car would move out of the compound. My doors were locked honey, my car wasn't even in the house. I already stole your keys because of my infidelity.

I knew if you couldn't get me on phone and none of my friends knew my whereabouts. You'd come to my place and have no keys to get in while I'm enjoying another lady in the guest room down the stairs, you wouldn't suspect anything. That was the plan.

Those plans all got together except that i knew when you came, i heard your voice talking with a friend of yours who said you should come back home so that you guys can visit the beach, she has someone waiting to give you ladies that Valentine treat. I heard it all. The lady and I knew when you left.

Shock can kill ooo, i could have died of shock that day. How did you even know? I was only trying to open the gate when i saw you holding a bag, you moved toward me and gave me a peck on my cheeks, you whispered 'happy valentine' into my ears, you went to the vehicle and dropped the gift on the driver's seat. You even asked the lady if i used condoms with her..... What exactly are you babe?

I can't start to imagine how bad you would feel after seeing that i was banging your friend on a valentine day, when i was supposed to be with you. I even locked you out just to taste a friend of yours whom you thought was so close. Maybe you'd now start listening to me. Why telling your friends how good your guy is on bed. Not your fault, you have good heart to accommodate everyone. She told me you are always bragging about my thing and you made all of them hate their guys who are short down there. You displayed me for sale out there very expensive, but i sold myself very cheap. She got your favourite chocolate for free honey. How could you even forgive these my enormous sins?

Even with those plans of mine, you still caught me. My neighbor took my vehicle to work, it was our plan to deceive you, I took his so that you would believe im not at home. What stopped you outside to wait for me? Did you have any info about the whole thing. Iya Sade said you kept checking my pictures on your phone and telling her how cute i am while you are at her shop waiting for me. She said you kept having this awkward feelings that im around the area and that i would show up soon. Whao, babe 2 hours later wasn't 'soon' ooo. Wait, are you are not an Ogbanje? Hmmm, no worries, my own Ogbanje wey love me scatter. Maybe not again.
Iya Sade fought me, she wouldn't even greet me the second day, that day was a black day. Everyone thought i was going to die, i drank excessively, came to your home and not even any of your friends knew where you are.

I went home devastated, but what happened that day made me understand this. You are too rare to be treated bad. I realised what i was about to lose a rare gem.

Honey, let me continue my letter in chapter 3.

"Im back, I'm back....
Im back to you honeybabe
My senses have been calling me to come back
And im back to you finally"
(Motipada, motipada sodo re baby...
Ori mi ti pe, mo de ti pada, motipada sodo re patapata).

OP,

This people have seen it all.

People have packaged their application for like 6 months claiming salaries of up to that amount and yet disappear after being issued the visa. A big issue would be the reputation of the place where the applicant claims he works.

Having that huge amount in cash and not in a pension plan presupposes that he has enough money to settle should he decide not to come back to Nigeria.

daks02:
I think an issue visa officers have is also having a lot of money, because the VO might think if you now decide to stay behind it means that you have enough money to settle in canada with your family.
There is a story of someone on this thread that had a way over the required POF and was denied, then she reduced it and was granted. I'm just saying tho, it might not be true but it might too.
