Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by tey234: 2:42pm On Jul 31, 2017
aragonbaba:
please house, i will like to travel to ghana by bus with my international passport two days before my visa interview this week.i have a virgin passport and will like it stamped this period. Will this travel boost my chances of getting a visiting visa, i have a good paying job with an income stream of 500k per month. please i need your honest response on this.

You don't need to get your passport stamped; that would only make the VO suspicious of your travel motives. A lot of people actually got their first USA visa on a virgin passport.

Oh, I didn't know the compilation of the different documents was the burden of proof. I thought it was a single document. Thanks a lot for the clarification.

LadyGuinivere:

Now that's a question I can't believe you just asked considering you said you have been reading the thread. Its like pure water here. n
Please do a quick scan of the thread. People have posted what they carried to poe. Even if its interview burdenof proof u see, there's no difference

Yes, my insurance covers my maternity related issues as well as post pregnancy. I was a bit confused when going through the thread and seeing that people were stamped in for a particular duration; I don't have such experience, hence the need to clarify. I even traveled in my first trimester and wasn't asked any questions. I just want to take precaution as this is my first time traveling with a visible pregnant belly. Thanks a lot for your response.

OmoBendel24:

Does his insurance extend to covering your maternity related issues? Or do you have one taken out for you specifically (if even allowed post pregnancy)? I doubt though, correct me too. And if my doubts are correct, in my thought, you may have to go through about the same process as those on a B1/B2 visa. That's proof to CBP of ability to pay for medical care and the other associated costs to birthing, declaration of intent to birth in the US and doctor's correspondence (which I believe you already have covered), etc.

Thanks for your response; yes, I'm allowed access to health treatment. I was able to register with my husband's SSN at the hospital where I normally receive treatment. If you don't mind, what exactly should my burden of proof contain? Thanks a lot.

LadyGuinivere:

If you are allowed to receive healthk (which most visas do) then I'm guessing the process is the same.
Entry is at the discretion of the cbp and u have to establish certain parameters. So go with your burden of proof

Good morning house, please I would really appreciate any response to my question below. I posted this yesterday. Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone. Thanks so much for all the useful info that has been put up here, I have really learnt a lot. I am a FTM and I would like to find out some information. I will be travelling with an F2 visa at about 33 weeks and was wondering if it's going to be the same procedure at the POE with those travelling with a b1/b2 visa. I am a frequent traveller to the US and I'm already registered with a hospital there. Any useful info will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi guys, this might sound weird but I can't remember the position I applied for. I have done the 2nd assessment stage and my application has been under review for over a month now. I tried checking my submitted application but was unable to retrieve any information. Please, does anyone have an idea on how to get info on the position applied for? Thanks
