Kobojunkie:

1) I do not know who Nuzo is personally, and I hate to tell you this but your mentioning him here leads me to believe you have some issues with him and you are on your own .

2) I am a born again Christian myself and I do not see the point in saying the man is right just cause.

3) We are already ranked as the most religious country on the planet and that to me a badge of shame considering some of the most wicked people also live in there and claim to be OF God. The bible is clear about how many will say they are of God but their conducts tell the opposite.
Bringing God into this yet again is not good for anyone's witness. It is time we start ACTING LIKE ACTUAL RELIGIOUS people, than claiming and not doing.

Hm sound too good. Nigerians Im sure are very religious out of necessity.

Let me quote from the Holy book . "Touch not my annointed". After years of creating a thriving business i mean religious empire, Daddy Go must know what he is saying and doing. The puritan lifestyle is the way to live. abandon earthly possessions that have possessed the minds of Westerners. Daddy GO is an exception due to the fact his blessing comes from the most high God.

In deed u are right. The Holy book says so. And the tithes goes to dem too

I agree with "Daddy" GO. I'd rather live with peace and harmony in religious paradise rather than strive for technological and economical advancement like those obsessive Westerners.

Of course u can say that when it come to religion discussion, but when it comes to discussion about our economy and the poverty pervading the country u will start complaining as to how we are backward. And all ur references will be towards the develop world. Dont be hypocritical.
Politics / Re: Ribadu And Recovered Funds by tharma(f): 7:34pm On Dec 14, 2008
$5.6 billion - that is what Waziry said EFCC have recovered, and obviously from her statement then Nuhu Ribadu have handed over the money to Lamorde who in turn gave it to Waziry. Muza did u get that!

From EFCC website - http://www.efccnigeria.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=36&Itemid=34
Q. What Happens to Monies and Properties Recovered by EFCC?

A. As stipulated in the EFCC Act, all monies recovered by the Commission are returned directly to the victims of the crime, be they individuals, corporate bodies, or foreign entities. If the victim is the Federal Government, the proceeds go into the Federation Account, and if the victims are State or Local governments, the proceeds go into their respective treasuries. If the victims are from specific public agencies the proceeds go to such specific accounts: thus, if they are from the oil sector, the proceed goes to the NNPC account; if they are they Customs, they go into the Customs account; or to the Inland Revenue account if the victims are the Inland Revenue Board. Billions of naira have also been recovered and returned to banks and other private commercial entities.

Most Nigerians are aware today that monies have been returned to victims in places like Brazil, the United States, Britain, Hong Kong, and U.K, to mention only a few cases. The cases involved foreign 419 victims and that is typically how similar instances are being treated. Victims get their recovered monies paid directly back to them, wherever they may be in the world, and that is in keeping faith with the law that set up the EFCC.

Restitution is a central component of the work that EFCC does. The Commission has never kept a single kobo of the billions of naira it has recovered in the last four years, be it from petty fraudsters or big time crooks. Where there is any need to use recovered monies as exhibits in prosecution, they are properly kept, documented and used in court to prove the Commission's cases against accused persons following the due process of law. Thereafter, upon conviction and forfeiture, the monies are processed according to court directive. It is illustrative that till date no complaint has been filed against the Commission that a single kobo of such funds has been diverted.

Regarding the disposal of forfeited properties of convicted fraudsters and corrupt public officials, as a rule the EFCC does not insert itself in the processes. Every such transaction is guided by judicial pronouncements. Forfeited properties are evaluated, managed and disposed off by qualified and respected agents. The call for bids are advertised, the bidding process is transparent; the bids are opened in public and the proceeds of such recovered and disposed asserts revert to the victims along the lines outlined above and in conformity with the guiding judicial pronouncements.

I know the name is North, but that does not make sense. That is not a name. If u call it north, north of what, u are still refering it to Nigeria. Didnt it sound foolish to u. We had a name before the formation of Nigeria. We had a country and we will revert back to that name.

Looking at that map again, all these Ibo ppl claiming they will be better of having their country, are just day dreaming. Today they feel they are doing well because they are a ready made market, once the country split and the neighboring countries refused diplomatic ties with their country they will be in trouble. Infact they will worse than Armenia

Hey this ur map looks fine. The only people I will feel pity for are the Biafrans. They will be caught in the middle of their - enemies. If Biafara do shege for any other country, they will be without food or water and no air craft will be allow to fly to their territory.

But for those in Biafra to think that it is we that is draggin them back are mistaken. They are just confused. When u have a common enemy and u can not unite against him, how will u unite urself and develop when u have a seperate nation. Ones the cord they tear Nigeria apart, those in the eastern states will long forget about what is called humanit and plunged back to their animistic ideologies. Continue killing and eating each other
Politics / Re: Quit Pretending, Lets Divide Nigeria, We Aint One: Period! by tharma(f): 8:39pm On Dec 12, 2008
We are not going to break according to dilects, but according to ethnic lines. Ife and Modakeke are the same people: Yoruba I believe. Yoruba will have their own country. The Igbo have their own. the Ogoni should have their own. The Ijaws should have their own. Hausa should have their own. Middle belt wont exist as a country. It will split into tiny countries like those in the South East Asia such as Bhutan, Burnoe, and so on.

Then when u come to the north, we split into much tinier nations. Gombe for example we will have a nation for the Tangale and the Bolewa in nothern part will merge with those in Yobe state. The Hausas in Gombe should be marge with those in Bauchi. There is nothing wrong in re-drawing the map of Nigeria at all. God did not want us to be together that is y he let us to have different language. Why forced us into bondage again.

Sometimes I wish Nigeria is divided so that we have tribal countries like Europe, and then later we form Nigerian Union [NU] based on consensus and referedum, mutual understanding and benefit. There is no point in sticking to the same old system that seems not to work. It is just in d mind set of every human being, no matter how much u try to do justice, ur blood is always ur blood. I have for along time hated the idea of staying with people that hate me. People that never see anygood thing in other people, just because they are of different language, not even race. I wish time shall come when this damn country breaks into peaces.

But it wont. So we better stop dreaming
Politics / Re: Ribadu Flees Nigeria? by tharma(f): 5:42pm On Dec 12, 2008
My very concern about corruption is not Ribadu as a person, but EFCC as an institution. In every organized society what u have is institutions that work perfectly very well without the need of a perticular man. This now makes it easy for the institution to perform its functions very well over a very long time.
However institutions are managed by human beings, so in order for the institutions to work perfectly very well, the people that managed the institution have to be its blood, its life support, its frame work. So for the institution to survive and not loose its direction, smooth transition from one generation of work force to another have to take place.
For instance, If a company is set up and employ staff,  the staff are trained to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and if the company is doing well, the management is allowed to continue. If the shareholders feels the companys direction is drailing, they sit down and make new policies for the company to redirect the focus of the management. The management is always sacked or change when it is found out that its decision are failing the company.
But in the case of EFCC what we have is a contratry. Nuhu Ribadu was given a mandate to create the organization. When the EFCC was set up, it has nothing, no office block. But this guy molded the EFCC into what we have today. He has employed staff, trained them, and of course both him and his new staff are learning. The government did not give him and his staff time to get the organization matured before dumping him and bringin in new people. Imagine chaning all the 12 principal investigating officers of the organization just over night? All their experience is wasted overnight. Transfering out all the well trained 300 police officers and send them back to the old police station where they will be force to collect N10 on the road. It will take years again for the new investigators to acquire the skills and confidence to tacke the corruption problem.
Imagine Lamorde posted to Ningi! Ningi is one small local government in Bauchi and he will be doing nothing there. Imagine the experience he have gathered just wasting away. All the money the government paid for his training have become a waste.
No any wise government will do that. What the present administration did to him, and the whole organisation was what we call Nigerian Factor. Anytime we have change of administration, the new administration will change the head of all government agencies and bring their own and mess the whole systmem. This is what we called lack of continuity. This is just contrary to what we have in organized societies. In organized societies head of government agencies are not changed without reason, and staff of government agencies are not transfered or deployed unnecessarily.
Culture / Re: Nigeria Has More Males Than Females by tharma(f): 10:28pm On Dec 11, 2008
But honestly sometime it look like it is possible that there might be more men than women in Nigeria. Considering the fact that the proportion of Male and Female at birth is d same, but the demography tend to change due to the condition in the world such as lack of basic health care, accidents, war, famine etc.Nigerian men at of recent do not go to war- the major factor that decrease male population; so their average population tend to remain steady. Females are likely to suffer more dead due to sickness and also dead at child birth than men. And because of poor health care facilities, more women die on daily basis than men in Nigeria. Any body can make a quick research in hospital and find out the death rates.

Yes, but he cannot start everywhere, he have to start from somewhere. If all ur clothes dirty and u want to wash them, how do u start? U sock all of them and start with one after the other. What EFCC did was to soak all the clothes i.e instill fear in the heart of Nigerian(using propaganda) and then start catching them one after the other. Nuhu cant fight everything alone. He thought ICPC, code of conduct and of course police will help, but non are trying. While Nuhu Ribadu was busy catching th big thieves, police should go ahead and catch the small thieves.

@ Crea8tivity
Recently James Ibori started to massive media campaign to clear his bad name. He bought stakes in some major Nigerian Newspapers that have been operating with near zero operating profit (nZop). Mr Crea8tivity is one of the guys hired to come and clear his image on Naira land.

All the allegations u made in the Nigerian Newspapers does that means they are true? It is just one of those things. Politicians believe Nigerians are gullible. Most swalow every line they read in Newspapers to be true. So by paying those newspapers to published stories that reads like this

', it is also alledge that, '
', it is also believed, '

So the fact that newspapers come out and make allegations that means it turns out to be true? Im certain if all these allegations were true, it would have been Micheal Aondaka that will be talking about these today, not stupid Newspapers. After all they are looking for cheap popularity and means to tarnish his image but could not find.

Most Nigerians politicians are very corrupt and so are Nigerian police officers. They expect Nuhu Ribadu to be like any other police office. Cant they see he doenst have pot belly?

The allegations that there are over 70 cheques not cleared is just another bogus allegation. Cheques become stale after 6 months of issue. This guy have left the organisation almost a year now they are coming with excuse of expired cheques. If some of the cheques are fake, how do they expect him to present them to the banks?

who said a 19 year old can not own a house in UK?

Once a person is a resident in UK, all he has to do is take a mortgage. People dont buy house cash. Fools and they also said she is married to a Medical Doctor? So u believe her husband dont have the resources to take mortgage and buy a house.

And those of u who think Ribadu is not fighting are mistaken.
If Ribadu was another coward, he would have resigned since and take off to another country. If Ribadu was like any other ordinary police officer, as a matter fact, like an ordinary Nigerian, he would have gladly accepted his demotion. The fact that people are talking about him today means he is not a coward. He is going to fight till he sees the end of his case in the courts. Not only is he going to see the end of this, believe me, unless they kill him, he will triumph over them.

This guy just view it from a journalistic perspective. And you will be suprised as to how the Western media also talk about poverty in their country, but may be that will be within their own country. But the fact remain the fact: the opulence to poverty ration is just too wide. If u consider we dont have access to basic health care and sanitation, water and electricity. And even good roads. What the guy pointed out about bad road in Lagos is true. Im not sure wether something have being done, but last year when I was in Ikoyi, the road that passes in front of Ikoyi Club was horrible. But every minute or so u will c expensive cars doing Micheal Jackson's moves on the road trying to find a way to enter.

But kai Lagos is horrible. People just living to survive.

Some might be crazy but some dreams may be realized. If Scotland are dreaming of having their country after centuries under Britian, the dream of having a seperate Nigeria have to start somewhere. After all countries like Georgia were part of Soviet and today they are independent countries. Even Abkhazia and South-Ossetia that are not more than Local Governments are independent countries, our dreams shall one day come true.

And to tell Auwal the truth, if there is any person I hate next to Inyamuri and Bayerbe is BaKane. And I wont share a destiny with Dan-danfara da 'Yan-Daba if Nigeria will break. We are going to form our own country seperate from 'yan Daba. We have countries in Europe that are less than 5 million and Bauchi and Gombe will be better with just 5 million. We have the resources to maintain ourselves. We may join with Taraba and Adamawa because they are our cousin, and that will depend on the referundum of our people.

The texture of our hair (black women) is the same as our men. I just want the men to imagine how can they afford to keep long, thick and bushy hairs. Large percentage of black men barb their hair. Some go to saloon every week. When the hairs are long it is difficult to comb them, and keep them clean. I have tried that once. To be like my brother, keep my hair natural, just wash it, and comb it. And I found it wont work. To remain femenine, we have to keep long hairs. To keep long hairs, it must be kept clean and tidy, and it wont work without the perming thing. Unless the men want us to start barbing too. Imagine our babes all the babes with bald heads? Cant they see white men keep long hairs? But our men dont, because of the difficulty of maitaining the hair.

That is y I said most of these folks here sayin Ribadu deserves it are fools. They just dont have common sense. Even the government that denied him his certificate are now regretting. They are just fools and dont even know which direction to follow. Im very sure right now Yar'adua is regretting the first decision. It is just a mockery of the Presidency and the whole Nigerian society, for the government to turn its attention on just one person, as if Ribadu was the only former public officer in the police.

Very disgraceful. Very shamefull. These people in government are just a disgrace to this nation. Some foolish people here are just saying he stepped on many toes. Yes he stepped on the toes of people that have bn dragging this country down. Was Ibori not Obasanjo right hand man? Was Saminu Turaki not Obasanjos right hand man? Was Chimaroke Nnammani not Obasanjos right hand man? Where are Nigerian so naive. I will just not be bothered about what is happening with Ribadu. It is almost to years to the end of Yar'aduas government, but he still doesnt have ministers that will even engineer this country towards the so called 2020 vision. They are just wasting time and resources harassing Ribadu for nothing. These people are just confused. They are looking for all tiny silly excuses to justify reason for arresting him. How do they expect Nuhu Ribadu to clarify issues on the EFCC administration when all the 350 police officers that where serving under him have being deployed out of the organization. Isnt it waste of human resources, after Ribadu have effectively created an organisation, trained his personel, and then all the personell are deployed. All the experience wasted. And then brought some sick head people that want to go and pursue Local government chairman. Sometimes it is so annoying that u dont even know where to start.

I now realize who Im talking to. What a fool u are. What concern us with who Yar'adua listen to. The fact that Yayale is the SGF what do u think people of Maifarin Doki, in Azare are benefiting? Only him and his family and very few individual. What we want in Nigeria is a society where everybody with aspirations and is giving equal opportunity to excell. Not few individuals.

Sarki Mukhtar can pack all the intelligence he need and go to hell.

Yar'adua govt is a complete total failure. Instead of them to focus on the actual thing, they are busy harassing one individual.
Politics / Re: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by tharma(f): 11:16pm On Nov 23, 2008
JimmyJam or whatever, u are a very corrupt person. Im very sure u are happy witht the way the Nigerian society is. U are a beneficiar, either directly or indirectly of the corruption of Nigerian system. U are, and it is people like u that are our problem. What Nuhu Ribadu did in EFCC was just a mere police work. What do u say to all the police officers that have awards for this award for that, ranks for this ranks for that, but could not stop the crime wave going on in the country? U call that passing exam in the police. Is it about promotion in the Nigerian police that u call merit? Look the problem of Nigeria is people like u that sit down and think age is the order of merit. How long a person stays in a place determine which position he holds, not what he can do and what he knows how to do. How many DIG, AIG, CP DCP do we have in Nigeria? What are they doing? Who is the head of the police money laundary department? Is he not an AIG? What is he doing? Or do u thing police job is to mount road block and collect N5 only?

Let me tell u what Nuhu Ribadu achieve that no other police officer in Nigeria has ever achieved. He created an organization from scratch. He build an institution with international reputation. The fact that we are talking about Ribadu and EFCC today enphasise his achievement.  What did ICPC achieved? ICPC hav being there 2 years b4 EFCC, but nobody even knows about them. Why? because it the same old people, that have outlived their usefulness in the society that are managing the system. Code of conduct tribunal has bn in existance for a long time. People dont even know what is Code of conduct. But they have offices in all the state of the federation doing nothing, but just being promoted year on year. What we want in Nigeria is a fair society, where people are rewarded based on hardwork, ideas, and enterprise. Not where people are reward because they are loyal to their boses. We owe our Loyalty to God, and the society to which we pledge to serve, not to an individual.
