Calm yo titties. I didn't say Germany is a "racist country" well, take it or leave it, Germany is known to be generally more racist than some other countries + I'm sure you read the part where I said it was my opinion and based on my own experience, not yours. Even the United Nations recently condemned their racist activities and the German govt admitted that they aren't doing enough to suppress racism. You can read up on that Okay, so you're saying, there is no racism in Germany but they only stare hard at you and not be friendly because you don't look like them. Like those aren't part of racism. Did I say they will stab people because of their race? Anyway, from the bolded, the 17yr old boy who is particular about racism can decide whether he wants to live there or not. If it's about free tuition, there are other countries in Europe that offer that. Cheers Eke40seven: 1 Like |

Oga! Even right from Frankfurt airport sef, there's already racism, speaking from experience. We're not saying everybody is racist but there are some countries that are generally more racist than others. Eg Russia and Germany. There's racism everywhere but it's is very prominent in some places My opinion: if he's so particular about racism, especially as a minor, he should consider other countries instead thesoj: |

I understand but the end certificate is what matters you know. Schools are just looking for students so they cater to everyone which is what leads people to actually believing that it is a post-grad program. I can't even imagine how bad this feels. I would have given up on the second attempt. But with all the help you're getting on this thread, you'll hit them so bad, they wouldn't even dare tick any mumu reason in your next application. standupguy: |

@thesoj, @berexio1 Sorry guys, slept off last night. You are so on point with your analysis. If he had included that in his initial list of documents I think it'd have been really obvious what went wrong. New school, different program, of course it's a brand new application and new things can pop up. No one on the thread will even advise any graduate to go for advance diploma cos we know how badly it affects one's application. @standupguy I think that switch showed a bit of desperation. I'm sure you addressed it in your SOP but the VO was obviously not convinced. It looks like a "by all means" situation + your brother being staying after school was like the little icing on the cake. If you have the strength, you can do a final application with either a Masters or PGD admission, it's more suitable with your age and work experience. Success |

Bro, we all have our stories. Thank God for his mercies. Let's just pray for Nigeria. We all want to migrate for the sole purpose of making our lives better. If only we could enjoy that in the country we call our own. Let's just pray for Nigeria. Bless TempusQ: |

It's is not advisable to leave out such information. It is clearly stated that your family information form must include information of parents and siblings. They don't need to do any research for your name to pop up as a sibling of a past applicant. What will lead to an outright denial is lying as well as leaving out information that they specifically asked for. It's like a booby trap, that is why they request and keep such information on their database. You should read the US thread, you'll probably understand better. berexio1: 1 Like |

It's not overstaying because it's legal anyway. + don't forget that the person already filled a family information form when he/she was applying so they probably already have your name in their record if he/she is your sibling. Leaving out that information isn't advisable. It's just going to end in a mess berexio1: |

You're forgetting that applications get into the hands of different VOs, because VO1 and VO2 didn't have a problem with purpose and length of stay doesn't mean VO3 wouldn't. They judge based on individual discretion and that's what they apply to different applications. Some are nice enough to overlook certain things, others aren't. + they already know that standupguy's brother didn't come back after his studies whether he mentioned it or not and he's even going to the same town as his brother. They have it in their records. You sef check am na It's truly unfair though, especially since he paid full tuition. It is well ahyotomiwa: 1 Like |

You can look at multiple airline eg Virgin and Air Canada has LOS-LHR-YHZ I'm not sure if you'll need a transit visa to go through Heathrow but you might want to get a UK visa cos the layover is very long. There are other multiple airline flights that you can check for as well. Check Momondo, travelstart etc. funmi14: 1 Like |

Let's not deviate oh but don't misunderstand me. I'm blaming the government not the people that are trying to better their lives. If only resources could be properly managed. It's one of the things Buhari must focus on and he's doing a great job with that already. God bless Nigeria. standupguy: |

Like I said before, nobody here can tell. Some people receive an approval mail after they pick up and some don't even get it until they email CIC after picking their passport. So just get your passport back first daudugodswill: |

@kennykentipsy The $300 POS/Online transaction daily limit policy has been reviewed. This is from GTB "Please be informed that we have just been notified today 10/08/2015 that you are now eligible to make a $10,000 monthly POS/Online transaction; such that you can decide to initiate a $10,000 transaction in a day-which automatically means you have exhausted your monthly limit, this was updated after the initial circular sent during the weekend." 1 Like |

Mr. Daudugodswill, was it upfront medicals? Did you do medicals before applying? If yes, then you can't know anything until you pick up your passport. If you didn't do upfront medicals and didn't get medical mail, then it's most likely a denial If you got medical mail and have done medicals, keep your fingers crossed daudugodswill: |

Yes it will work anyway, all banks say you should notify them just so they won't block any transaction thinking it's fraudulent. The new $300 limit thing is just ridiculous. They're trying every trick to crash the dollar. I'm sure it's just for a while. It's a new CBN directive kennykentipsy: |
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 9:43pm On Aug 09, 2015 |
I'm would recommend Stanbic and Diamond. They're quite consistent with their rates. Apart from withdrawal limit, there are now $300USD daily limits for online and POS transactions as well so you might want to go with all your cards just so you don't get stranded. If any of your cards is about to expire, just renew it before you go kennykentipsy: |
