Please I need advise on loss of travel history on my passport ,sometime in 2010 I lost my international passport which has a travel history of countries that I have visited India,South africa, Dubia and Ghana. I never for once ever thought I will loose my passport, and I never made a photo copy of the visa I had accuried then.I had to request for a new passport which automatically will comes as a Virgin passport.
Now the main issues is we all know how this visa consulant act wen they see one apply for a visa and does not have a travel history u will be automatically be refused, now this were I need your advice how do I convince the consulant that I have travel history wen I don't have proof? the only proof I have is a photocopy of the data page of my old international passport and the certificate I got wen I went for my oil & gas training in India, no proof for south Africa no proof for dubia.
Please is there anyone here that has found themselves in this position? and how did dey solve it, I will really appricate advice that will help me solve this issue have a stress free day.

Provide copies of your tickets and used boarding passes for those trips....copy of Dubai visa if you still have it.

Also include an affidavit saying that your passport was lost. Losing your passport is no crime.

Who is this consultant by the way...do you mean at the embassy or are you referring to agents. There is no such thing as automatic refusal for first time travellers. Visas applications are always rejected when the applicant cannot show with evidence ties to Nigeria, purpose or validity of travel, ability to finance trip etc.

Show up at the international airport at least two hours before the departure.

Aero seem to have issues checking in online for international flights so you will have to queue up for bag drop at the airport

For Ghana make sure you have your vaccination certificate (yellow card) up to date.

You can obtain one at the International Airport for less than #1,000. This includes the vaccination shots if you haven't taken it.

Your question was about travelling for the first time in an aeroplane so I'll leave it there...oh and dont forget to go with your passport.

time factor is the cause of not travelling together because i'm a dubai regular visitor and when I have time he doesn't have time or his leave isn't approved, when he has time I don't have, but at least I can see it's really necessary so we go travel somewhere together or maybe two places before the last quarter of the year so I can reapply in Abuja, I swear if na Abuja I go I for get this visa, this Lagos witch v.o's i've kissed them bye already

It has nothing to do with the VO as its the same questions you will be asked.

my brother how will we have travel history together when they won't give him a uk visa and they won't give me a u.s visa? He got the uk refusal years back and gave up on them, before I give birth I might try again, i'm not sure.

Ghana, Dubai, Gambia, Maldives, Senegal, Kenya...all visa free

I was too sad, make I dey drink water for my uk visa jejely but i'm not reapplying to Lagos again at all.

I think the issue here is that you presented no history of travel together.

When I applied with my wife even though I have been to the US several times alone, the interviewer specifically asked if we had travelled anywhere together disregarding her travel history. We listed all the places we had been together in addition to where we had been separately. That's what they like to see.

They want to know that you are not just saying you are travelling with someone but you actually have a history of travel with the person.

What do u need a Ghanaian stamp on your passport after you have gotten a USA visa and I am yet to come to terms on how the immigration officer got hold of your phone and your texts. Sometimes at the point of entry your belongings may be searched and they will ask you questions about whatever the find on my. In 2010 I was searched at Denver Airport and the officer wanted to know where I got the cash in my wallet from as well as the reasons why I had documents that said I had a stone at the Emirates Stadium. Even up to asking me to explain what the church reading material was doing in my possession.

Earlier this year on arrival at Philadelphia airport the officer asked for my itinerary and as I brought out a folder within which it was, he collected the entire folder and went through the contents even though there were other documents in it. Once you are there, they can search you and you must be prepared to explain whatever it is that you have in your possession and not implicate yourself.

Yes, it is possible if s/he holds a valid UAE residence permit with its validity exceeding six months period. But if what s/he has is a visa, then, s/he is not eligible to apply from the UAE.
As for crossing from the UAE to the UK, that is very possible by crossing from the UAE to Saudi Arabla, then cross to Iraq or Jordan, then to Syria, and then to Turkey. From Turkey to Greece or Bulgaria, and then to Macedonia or Serbia, to Hungary, to Austria. and finally you will get to France. From France, you will need to cross via Calais port on a vessel to the UK.
