Hello everyone, please who has applied to Durham College? I am on the first page where you get to upload passport, transcript, certificate & also choose the program… but there’s no other section to upload supporting documents (letter of intent, resume, recommendation letter). Do I go ahead and click ‘Submit Application’? Will I be redirected to OCAS page where these requirements will be uploaded, and then application fee payment will be made? Please help. Thanks 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Apc Will Form Alternative Government And Nothing Will Happen- Amaechi by thelegalpundit: 12:02pm On Nov 20, 2014 |
waternogetemeny:Lmao! This pic cracked me up. Did I hear him say alternative government? Okay sir, how does treason sound to you? I dislike these present crop of "do or die-for-my-pocket-only" politicians we have. They're only fighting for their personal gain... Greedy lots! As much as we want change, politicians should learn not to make statements that are 'inciting'. Let your works speak for you, show people why you should be voted & allow the masses be the core decision makers. You lots are the same. Pity! |
Nairaland / General / Re: Is The Falling Price Of Oil A Disaster? by thelegalpundit: 2:20pm On Nov 18, 2014 |
This is definitely not good news for Nigeria. With the price of oil slowly taking a nosedive, its only a short while before we run into serious problems. I think the FG should do more than just applying austerity measures (e.g Placing special tax on luxury goods... etc). They should concentrate on making other sectors of the economy work. As big a country as Nigeria, we cannot rely on just oil as the mainstay of our economy. The question is, what will become the fate of the "common" Nigeriian when the Govt goes ahead with its many austerity measures? |

notobs:Yeah, true. I remember the first time I ever heard of this ancient form of writing was in Calabar yrs ago. Btw, am neither Efik/Ibibio nor Igbo. 1 Like |

Nsibidi has Igbo roots? Well, I've always known Nsbidi to an ancient writing deeply rooted, or should I say a form of writing which 'originated' from the Efik/Egaham speaking parts of Cross River State. This form of writing is gradually going extinct, although several research/studies have been carried out by the Cross Rivers State Min of Culture & Tourism to see how this form of writing can be revived. Love your writeup though. PS: Even Wikipedia sometimes have wrong facts. |
