Politics / Re: Pictures Of Northern Governors With Musa Kamarawa, Turji's Associate Raise Dust by thelegend1(m): 1:33pm On Jan 20, 2022 |
The North uses insecurity to loot Nigeria's mineral resources in their region (Oil, Gold, Uranium, Copper, etc they have it all). But will demand the oil revenue from the South is shared equally. I'm honestly rethinking this union called Nigeria. Dirty transactions and Doings are going on without any remorse. |

Ishilove: I will suggest you evaluate your mental health before labeling others lunatics. You couldn't spare 5 mins to park by the road and give your colleague the Keys in hand, and was eventually delayed for over 30 minutes. Yet you came here to rant and blame someone else. I'm very sure you would've waited and even bought gala and coke (to offer the person) if it was your boss or senior colleague. Are you related to or mentored by Buhari? Quit with your double standards. Take responsibility for once as an adult! 4 Likes |

Family / Re: Introverts, How Are You Coping During This Festive Period? by thelegend1(m): 1:37pm On Dec 28, 2021 |
Quite enjoyable this period. Though Covid, insecurity (or mild paranoia) and Sapa are contributing factors. No unnecessary billing like before (phone, hair, airtime etc). Someone told me I enjoy my company a lot. Tbh, if you don't like yourself by yourself, you won't know how to set boundaries with people. |

Ecne: Hey God...this is callous. Anyways like I always say "do a legal search on any property before making payment". Even if the search takes a month or 2, do so and know peace. Lagos is a mega city and everyone wants to own a piece of it. |
Properties / Re: Supreme Court Judgment: Panic, As Shangisha Landlords Take Over Highbrow Magodo by thelegend1(m): 12:09pm On Dec 22, 2021 |
As an Architect, I can tell you for free that Land matter is very disturbing especially in Lagos (that's why I prefer Abuja as their procedures for land acquisition are quite straightforward). Back to my point. I remember as an I.T student many years ago, a woman won a court case for a Land on Opebi/Allen Ikeja. The land in question had a high rise building on it...na so she become billionaire. From what I've read about this case, the residents shouldn't expect much from Lagos state govt as Supreme Court has given final ruling, though if they want to help, they could relocate affected residents (of which most won't agree). The residents should go and negotiate their houses with the new Landlords. 4 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Masari Says Bandits Are Animals, Wants Approval For Citizens To Bear Arms by thelegend1(m): 10:53pm On Dec 16, 2021 |
Hashabiah:The insecurity going on with Bandits, Kidnappers, BH etc can be easily tackled with simple technology (drones, satellite, call mapping, geolocation, FLIR etc) and community policing (see something, say something). But the Government is incompetent and culpable...also to some degree the citizens as well. Take for instance, almost every youth knows a yahoo boy but feign ignorance. Same applies to Bandits. |
Politics / Re: Masari Says Bandits Are Animals, Wants Approval For Citizens To Bear Arms by thelegend1(m): 10:42pm On Dec 16, 2021 |
Hashabiah: In addition, I doubt you've ever been in a shootout with multiple attackers who have superior firepower. The bandits come in heavy numbers and don't shout "war start" for you to prepare yourself. |
Politics / Re: Masari Says Bandits Are Animals, Wants Approval For Citizens To Bear Arms by thelegend1(m): 10:38pm On Dec 16, 2021 |
Hashabiah:As of today, you have the right to own a shotgun but the conditions are strigent but not impossible. What the issue is predominantly is cost of ownership. At least 600k for the gun and additional 300k plus in permit which must be renewed regularly. People never chop belly full and you think they can afford N1m for weapons (minus renewal license and ammunition). |
Politics / Re: Masari Says Bandits Are Animals, Wants Approval For Citizens To Bear Arms by thelegend1(m): 10:30pm On Dec 16, 2021 |
Hashabiah: You're talking of America, have you seen what Chicago has turned into...especially the black, poor community? We in Nigeria have the right to bear arms (shotgun but with conditions) that's in case you didn't know. What you are asking for is what is already happening and causing mayhem - flow of weapons indiscriminately. Now tell me how you think more guns would solve the problem. |
Politics / Re: Masari Says Bandits Are Animals, Wants Approval For Citizens To Bear Arms by thelegend1(m): 10:20pm On Dec 16, 2021 |
Hashabiah: Pls read my comment again if you lack understanding. At no point did I sympathize with bandits in my comment. You cannot engage in a simple discussion online without hurling tirades, talkless of when a weapon is put in your hands. We Nigerians are too vile to bear arms across the federation. |
