Two VO’s, a black man in his 40s and the other white guy in his early 40s I guess. My observation, these guys are human being like us and very friendly. I really do not know why people put fear on other people’s body and give all sort of scary feedbacks after their interview. Please guys, just be calm and make sure you prepare well for all the possible questions. If God can do it for me, then I’m sure you’re the next person to give testimony. I made a promise to myself to post the white paper for people to see if I get the visa and I’ll do it. I hope this transcripts has motivated someone to go confidently and grab his/her own visa. 1. If I have someone who can pay sevis for me in the US, how do they go about it?

2. What do I need to show up with in case there is a co-sponsor.?

3. I applied for a masters program despite already having a masters degree here in Nigeria, will this come off as desperate?

Please advice, interview is a week away.

1- Go to fmjfee.com and create a coupon pdf page and send to the person in US, so he/she can use it to help you pay at any western union location. $350

2- All you need is your sponsors statement of account showing more than your deficit.

3- It doesn’t mean if you already have a master in Nigeria, you can have more than one master in different departments if you want to.

I saw 160 dollars on their website however I total of 245$ was generated at the end of the application.
Am I doing something wrong?

Yes it should be around that 245 plus, if you aren’t requesting courier service. But make sure you select course by course evaluation. That alone is $160. You’re on the right track.

I read here that Wes is slow and much more expensive that is why I opted for ECE however, I just found out that ECE reports reduces GPA.
I just want to be sure cos I want to apply before the end of tomorrow.

ECE evaluated my transcripts and it took one week. From 4.08/5.0 to 3.47/4.0... It’s true that they reduce gpa but it’s slightly better than WES. Wes takes more time because after receiving your transcripts, they’ll send another form to your school to complete and send back for confirmation. But ECE evaluates immediately they receive your official transcripts. If not for the cost, it’s better to send transcripts to both companies and choose the own that gives you a higher gpa

My concern is yet resolved. While paying for my MRV (VISA FEE), I applied using my old international Passport Number. I currently have a renewed international passport and am about filling the DS-160 form. Do I fill the form using the old passport number or the new one?

No disrespect but I don’t think my first response should be difficult to understand after saying I’ve same issue as yours. This visa fee is valid for 1 year. What if you pay and couldn’t secure an interview date and the passport expires, would you still go and pay another 62k without using the first one just because you’ve a new passport number? You’re not the only one with two passport number, either of them has all your traveling details and history on it. You should fill your ds-160 form with your new passport number. Once the VO enter it, it would still show your old passport number but with your corrected details. But if you’ve enough money, you can pay another visa fee with the new passport number. I might be wrong anyway, maybe the gurus in the house should help us out.

I was hoping to get some information before
sending my DS-160 form. I paid my visa fee with an old international
passport and there is an instruction which says the following:

"Attention: Before you enter the receipt number ensure that the passport
bio data and DS-160 information matches the US travel docs profile for all
applicants scheduled during this session. Discrepancies between the
profile, passport information, and DS-160 information may require
completion of a new profile and purchase of a new MRV fee receipt. MRV fees
are not refundable nor transferrable after they are assigned to a
particular applicant."

I now have a renewed passport, with a new passport number. Should I fill in
my new passport number or the old one while filling the DS-160.

I’ve the same issue as yours. I paid my visa fee with my old passport number. But I asked at the immigration office, they said as long as I haven’t traveled or been denied with the old passport number, it doesn’t matter. I can proceed with my interview. That’s why both the old and new passport numbers are showing on the new issued passport. Either of the numbers would bring all your details if they try to check.

1- I would like to ask if applicants passports and bank statement are being withheld after visa approval.

2- Is it advisable to use myself as my sponsor? As I I’ve a better statement with good cash inflow and outflow than that of my father whom I thought I would use as my sponsor.
