Travel / Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by TheSpin: 12:57am On Apr 07, 2022
Thank you so much for this info. I was elated to read from someone who has done it before. I want to take my child with me and no time to visit the consular here for visa and have been thinking about visa on arrival route.

Please what is the website to apply for visa on arrival?
And how long does it take for someone to get the document as proof to show the airline?

Thanks so much.

It is not a difficult thing to get a Nigerian Visa, you have the option of the embassy or on arrival. Both are legit. I once did visa on arrival for my child and i never had an issue.

All you need go to their site and the option is there for you to fill. A print-out form is what you use in-lieu of a visa at the airport. you can DIY or get an agent if you wish.

Regards.

nothing negative can happen get the person to American embassy and they will resolve all there even if u don't have the transport fare....uncle Sam is able always.

Thanks for your response. His US passport is still valid and ticket already purchased.
Just kinda unsure about those immigration officers cos I google and I read that they fine people who overstay their visas. And am wondering if that is really what is happening. Also, this case involves a minor who has a valid passport to return to his home country.

Hello Nairalanders,
Please am trying to inquire about what Nigeria immigration do to a US citizen younger than 18 who has stayed longer than the 24 months visa issued. The child went to school here the whole time. We wanted to get her a Nigerian passport but it didn't happen. He wants to be returned to his birth country but we are wondering what usually happen.

Thank you for sharing your experience/input.
