Hi guys, I would be landing third week of November in Toronto and I have a couple of questions/concerns.

1. I intend to go with USD 5000 cash and have the bank statement showing the remaining POF in naira. Would that suffice?

2. As regards accommodation, I've been searching for a room in a shared apartment in the GTA (North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough and Mississauga) on a couple of sites now and I haven't been able to come up with something tangible. The ones I've seen are up for rent immediately and might not be available then. Does anyone here know of any available rooms in those areas or know someone who does? Budget is $650

3. What is the best/cheapest phone plan to use in Toronto?

4. For banks, which is the most immigrant friendly.
