The UK, Germany, The United States and indeed all over the world are opening up despite spikes in new cases.
The WHO has said covid has come to stay just like malaria and co. It is not a question of if you will get it, it is a question of when you get it. ..in fact, many people have already gotten and recovered from it without realizing. You see those two, three days you didn't have appetite and couldn't smell anything, that was covid. The vast majority of cases are mild with patients asymptomatic.
Initial lockdowns and restrictions were primarily because little was known of the virus in those early days and not necessarily to flatten any curve.
Now, we know the basic safety measures to take as well as common prophylactic and therapeutic solutions (even though those who want to cash out will do anything to deny anything can cure it).
So, let's open up and go back to normal life

DeLaRue:
Look at the Police station. How does a nation expect police men & women to function well when their work environment is so poor.

I was at a Police Station over the weekend. Most of the louvres had fallen off. The doors were barely standing. Police men were siting on benches, & white plastic chairs that could barely take their weight.

Is it any surprise that when bandits attack these poorly maintained station, the Police take to their heels.

I don't think they are worth making a case for. If only they would desist from their greed & unguided appetite, the unlawful money they kip collecting (especially frm innocent citizens) in d name of bail will b more dan enof 2 fix their stations. God bless d good ones amongs them, if they actually exist.
