If Buhari dies tomorrow it might be better for Nigeria, If Osibanjo becomes the president it might be better for Nigeria, If it's better for Nigeria it would be very bad for Nigerians and quite profitable for the West. If Nigerians try to make things better for themselves then there might be no Nigeria. |

Before Nigeria's independence The British understood the ethnic configurations of the fake nation they created and it was just like everything made to benefit them economically, aware of the backward nature of the North and it's despotic system of leadership they had a deal with them to gain unfettered access to Nigerian resources while they will guarantee them power and a share of those resources which normally doesn't belong to the north. So as someone said above they've been helping them to perpetuate the fraud called Nigeria and if not the North all these multinationals would have been sacked long ago. Buhari's trip to London both before his election and even this recent one has always been for support based on the premise stated above. I said it then and i still stand on it. The problem with this setup is it's hierarchical nature, since the North agrees to be subservient to Britain the conditions are always dictated by British and now American objectives rather than nothern myopic agendas, in this instance the north has not really deciphered what the British objectives are and are becoming uncomfortable working within the framework they found themselves. Funny part is Nigeria is going to the dogs and the resulting mess will neither favor the North, South, east nor West. The Imperialists however will be congratulating themselves on a job well done after the whole system is in motion. GenBuhari: 2 Likes 1 Share |

The level of damage the Europeans did to Africa and its people cannot be quantified , what is more worrying is that Africans are being annihilated as we speak yet majority of them choose to live in denial while there is mayhem all around them. The African man does not value his history, many would read these articles and say stuffs like " we are talking about jet engines and you are here talking about some rocks in the forest " ,this is the group that through constant intimidation and western miseducation and value transpositions has come to hate everything about themselves, their culture, their identity and roots, this group believes everything a white man does or says is right and otherwise for the Blackman, everything made by the Whiteman is superior and otherwise for the Blackman, every Whiteman is good as every Blackman (except themselves) is evil .The groups that has been brainwashed by the equally destructive Christianity would just scoff and say" what will you do with cursed objects and people", this group has been made to believe that their ancestors were evil and worships false and impotent gods, handmade wooden sticks with no potency to effect any change in their lives, cursed and will never make the Christian heaven. This is not only the most confused and hypocritical group but also the most dangerous. they will jump in your face about how their imported gods are the most potent and your man made wooden sticks can’t even move itself, then the next day they will come around seeking to burn down your shrine with the allegation that your supposedly impotent sticks is the cause of their ill lucks, talks about hypocritical and confused beings. They will find it right to preach in the streets and force their flawed doctrine on everyone while they will attack you if your every try to educate people about the African traditional religions, they will equally stomp a shrine that has existed before Christianity and burn it down with no remorse yet will seek sympathy when Boko Haram bombs or kills them. I have never heard them feel the need to justify their actions. Alas if the article has not been more than ten lines which means the majority of nairalanders whom are intellectually stunted would find it repulsive you would have been entertained by the groups mentioned above and would understand much better our sad situation as black people. 1 Like 1 Share |

I knew them quite well and i have witnessed an actual sabotage from these guys during the MASSOB era though i have always known their stance with the igbos from buying my first plot in onitsha from an indigene in 1987. Its better they feel discord and achieve their aims rather than having all their efforts sabotaged all in the prospect of friendship which never existed in the first place. persius555: |
Politics / Re: Obi Of Onitsha Condemns Pro-Biafra Agitators by thoth: 11:08pm On Nov 21, 2015 |
Very few people on here knows anything about the Onitsha people and their sabotage of igbo aspirations since the time of the civil war, only an ignorant igboman who is not educated in his history would accept an Onitsha as a revolutionary. From the 70's during the short period of military occupation of the eastern Nigeria till late they have always sabotaged, undermined and spied on igbo movements. Find any Onitsha indigene and ask him if he is a Biafran ? don't be surprised about his reply. If you really want to be astounded get an Onitsha man and ask him whether he is IGBO ? if you find his reply shocking then you really need a thorough education of post-colonial history of the south-east till date. 3 Likes |

Religion / Re: An Open Letter To The Church: How The Church Can Make The World A Better Place by thoth: 9:46pm On Aug 09, 2015 |
macandy21:The government of the people is a democracy and the church throughout its history has never been Democratic rather the church laid the blueprint for the most fiercest autocracy the world has ever witnessed, The church is ruled by a few selected Scammers, very much alienated from the masses and its RULES IMPOSED on the masses, if you ever disagree with the churches doctrine you are a HERETIC whether you are right or wrong, If you ever worship in any other way not sanctioned by the Church you are a HEATHEN whether you do good or bad, If you ever provide a more logical analysis of a previously deemed supernatural phenomena or were able to replicate such phenomena either through your knowledge of science or other disciplines then you are an Occultist, The history of the church, the character of the church, the composition of the church clearly suggest that Democracy is an anathema to the Church and autocracy is its natural stance. have you heard when the government instead of doing her fundamental obligations tells the masses to pray?, we are coming to that, we want to solve the problem from the root, as someone said, "religion is the opium of the masses", that's why in my opening speech I said, the church has helped keep the world sane by soothing our wounds, think of countless revolutions that would have happened, but the failure of the government is always encapsulated by the matra, "let us pray for a better future".The Church as a parasitic system has always worked hand in hand with corrupt, destructive, exploitative, lazy and visionless governments, One once said that colonization of indigenous peoples would not have been possible without the church, because the church is the left hand of the vandal, it suppresses the human natural instinct of ADAPTATION by gradually brainwashing it's hosts and thereby incapacitating them of the natural human ability to secure it's possession and protest injustice, the rightful aggression that should be directed at the THIEF which is the government is suppressed or misdirected to some unseen being which should have done justice for US the poor masses but never actually does anything at all, or in some cases the judgment is postponed indefinitely and left for some God to do on the last day while each generation is wronged, stolen from, killed, dehimanized and left vulnerable waiting for the Churches God to act which it never does meanwhile the looters continues looting and keep feeding the church. The above statement becomes totally baseless once one can;after sustained thought understand that instead of the Church it is we the people who are are the Rat. Who do you run to when you can't find a job ? Pastor!! who do you run to when you get sacked from you job and you can't find a new one and everything is falling apart ? Pastor!! who do you run to when you are sick and the dilapidated hospitals can't provide the necessary services and the ones that can is probably too expensive for you to afford ? Pastor!! Who do you run to when terrorists are bombing you day and night and the government can't seen ti know what it's doing ? Pastor!! who do you run to when there is epidemic and people are dying left, right and center ? Pastor. when this useless country bleeps your life up so bad you start thinking of suicide as a way out who do you run to ?Pastor!! Government makes it bad so that the Church will have you in their palms. Government steals from you, you run to the church like a rat and they steal the rest from you and also keep you from retaliating on the government. Government has money, Pastor has Money, How much do you have If the government is the people(you and me) why do you use the word "THEY are still…" the simple truth is they are in charge of everything, including You,your destiny(which they will Bleep up) and most importantly they are still in charge of "not being in charge" so expect nothing from nobody. Now one will definitely like to know, Are you trying to CHANGE THE CHURCH or having the CHURCH CHANGE THE WORLD(with you included). If you are trying to change the church then lets change the church, if you are trying to change the world then we are behind you if you tell us your solutions, if you are trying to change the church in order to change the world then i really don't see the need for this debate. No missionary religion has ever helped mankind rather it is the spring from which the myriad of man's misery has sprung forth and with it has kept multiplying. One question you have to answer is this: How many of these known Churches has ever openly criticized the evil destructive policies of the government, how many has fought for it, stood their ground and be persecuted for it. How many has ever rejected a government official in their church because he is a looter of state money ? These are fundamental questions from which any thought about CHANGE with the CHURCH as its medium must first answer. |

i have just three questions for the OP. 1:if the church were to do all these then what will the government be doing ? 2: A church is any organization that through the promise of spiritual enlightenment scams money off it's adherents, now why would such organization by it's character give selflessly to the masses ? 3: How has the church managed to keep the world sane ? |

Politics / African Leaders Must Help Continent, Not Sell It Off-global Research News by thoth: 7:52am On Jul 18, 2015 |
The struggle for Africa’s independence from its colonial rulers has always been centred on land and the natural resources beneath. For decades its resources were looted by these imperialist masters. Gold, oil and diamonds are some of the resources still extracted from Africa by multinational companies without its people benefiting from them. African countries remain poor as if they are not major producers of these jewels. Today, water and land are valuable resources that are being sold and leased to multinational companies by African governments and this leaves our people without land to farm and less water available for their agricultural projects. The disturbing trend is that African governments do too little to empower African farmers. The ongoing scramble, that of partitioning African land into commodities for foreign companies is a new form of colonialism. The modus operandi of these companies is to lease huge stretches of agricultural land not only to farm but to control water resources. The challenge with this approach is that Africans are not in charge of their own food production. This in turn defeats our endeavour to feed ourselves and take charge of our economy. It must not sit well with us as heads of states give away our agricultural land simply because African farmers are behind with technology. It should be our collective responsibility to empower African farmers. Why are African governments removing their people from their land and leasing it to foreign owned companies? Why are we not standing up against our own governments, who even take water rights away from small African farmers to give them to foreign multin\tionals. Mali is the recent example which has leased 470ha of land to UK and Saudi Arabian fcompanies which are exporting their harvests to their own countries. Even the Nile has not been spared from the problem of leasing land and giving away water rights, now threatening to suck it dry. Ethopia, Sudan, South Sudan and Egypt have leased out 8 640000ha of agricultural land. This means that those millions of hectares in Africa belong to foreign companies. Kenya and Mozambique are other African governments that gave away water rights and land to foreign companies while literally destroying their local agricultural schemes run by small farmers, including rural women engaged in subsistence farming. Africa is being auctioned to the highest bidder. The irony is that sooner or later the continent will be economically controlled by foreigners, leaving only political control to indigenous populations. This will undo the blood and sweat of the founding fathers who fought for liberation from colonial rule. As a way to reverse the imbalance created by this unsustainable situation, African governments must revoke lease agreements with these foreign companies and empower their citizens by funding locally controlled projects that will employ locals and exploit the resources for their benefit.
