Hi everyone. I got an email to submit my passport, travel insurance and travel date sometime this week. But I already submitted my passport during the visa interview. It's the skilled immigration act visa. I have now submitted just the travel insurance and travel dates. Would there be any need to contact the embassy and tell them I had already submitted my passport during the interview?

I was thinking it was because of the Christmas/New Year holidays that's causing the delay. Now I dunno anymore.

When is your resumption date?

I did mine for bluekard in october and still noting yet, they keep saying the same thing every-time I call. “We will get back to you once we have a new information so always check your mail.”

I think you are not alone in this. So let us just chill.

Did my interview for skilled immigration act visa (with pre approval) on the 17th of December but I am yet to hear back from them. I was led to believe they make a decision within 3 weeks. What could be the issue? This is the 4th week now.

You need to go through the "Skilled Immigration Act" . Contact your employers to help with the documents, especially the pre-approval document. Read about the German skilled immigration act. Last I checked, it takes 3 weeks from registration to get an appointment, and you get a decision on your visa within 3 weeks after the appointment. Cheers.

Please I need your advise. I accepted an offer to resume by April, 2022 in Germany. However, there's no appointment date till after one year. I'm super confused right now. Don't want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.
