WHAT THE MEN OF GOD SHOULD LEARN FROM DAVIDO`S WORK OF FAITH

Prayers and applause rang out across the country for music star David Adeleka a.k.a Davido following the donation of 250 million naira from his birthday fundraiser to charity.

The fundraiser began as a joke on Thursday 18th of November after the singer challenged his colleagues on Twitter to contribute 1 million naira each, to enable him clear his Rolls Royce for his forthcoming birthday.

After receiving about 201 million from friends and fans. Davido decides to add 50 million from his savings and give all 250 million naira back to Nigerians.

The music star has raised a 5-man committee that will take charge of distributing the funds to various foundations and motherless homes all over Nigeria.

God bless Davido for his beautiful heart and kind gesture. You`re a classic definition of an influencer; you`ll live a long and healthy life, you`ll ride in cars you did not buy and live in houses you did not build, more money and favor will locate you, you`ll go from billions to trillions and then from influence to affluence. YOU`LL RISE ABOVE YOUR PEERS!

Davido you`re a true Man of Faith. You preached without a pulpit. You lived the Bible without reading or quoting scriptures. You answered so many people`s prayers. You`re Jesus exemplified. God bless you for this huge sermon you preached through your Work of Faith.
Friend; faith is work and work is a must for faith to work. Here are 2 things the Men of God should learn from Davido`s Work of Faith.

(1.) Lift Others
We rise by lifting others. During the fundraiser you`ll discover that a substantial amount of donors contributed 1 million naira, some even contributed above 1 million. Davido was able to gather so much support because he has lifted others up the success ladder directly or indirectly. He has a truly successful music ministry.
Unfortunately, this is not the case in prosperity churches today. What percentage of the congregation in these churches can comfortably give a million naira offering? Most of the congregation in these churches are stuck in the Prosperity Rat Race due to lack of support and financial ignorance. The thing with the rat race is that even if you win the race you`re still a rat because there are rat killers in the society. The rats end up working as slaves for the
cats all their lives due to financial ignorance.
The congregation has been taught to pay tithe and sow seeds as a means to achieve financial prosperity. Tithe paying and seed sowing does not exempt you from lack of financial intelligence and proper understanding of the capitalist system in which we live, the scriptures cannot be broken. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). It`s high time the Men of God support and give their congregation a balanced teaching on prosperity. Tithe
paying and seed sowing is not enough teaching on prosperity because when you over emphasize one truth at the expense of another truth then your message becomes heresies.

(2.) Prioritize The Needs of the Congregation
After Davido conducted the fundraiser he gave the proceeds to charity. Note the money was meant to clear his Rolls Royce but he gave priority to the needs of the needy above his own. He was
selfless, he took from those who had and gave to those in need. This was exactly what the Apostles did in the book of Acts.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
And laid them at the apostle`s feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
Acts 4:34-35
That selfless act towards humanity is not the case in churches today rather mega church auditoriums and private jets have been given more priority over the needs of the congregation who still struggle in the rat race.
When will the church produce the next generation of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Zuckerberg.
When will she get her members out of the rat race, when will she produce financial giants that can lend to nations.
These are the questions that only time itself can answer.

Salle then gained global recognition after her performance video went viral. CEO of Mavin record label, Don Jazzy expressed interest in signing the talented singer. In fact, record labels both in Nigeria and abroad were willing to sign her to their label. Now she had not just one but multiple destiny helpers.

Destiny helper is a divine transport system that is designed to transport you from where you are to where you need to be. The people that recorded Salle`s performance video, those that posted it and shared it online where are destiny helpers. They all helped transport her from the streets to the studio.

Friend; whatever is blocking or preventing your destiny helpers from helping you is destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus! Money will locate you, favor will locate you, men and women will favor you. You will RISE TO THE TOP in the mighty name of Jesus!

Salle`s rise to the top is an inspiration to a lot of people who have not gotten the recognition they desire. It was the year twenty-fourteen in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. I was in church at the Kingdom Partners Assembly (KPA) when the pastor made a prophesy. “I see somebody here being given a factory to manage.” I knew instinctively that the prophesy was for me because at this time I was a Bielomatik Machine Operator at the factory of MapleLeaf Press Limited, an exercise book production company.

My job in MapleLeaf was to man the Bielomatik Machine (exercise book production machine). I did this day in day out on a weekly shift and the job had become quite boring to me. I began sourcing for a new job within MapleLeaf. Prior to my job as a Bielomatik Machine Operator at MapleLeaf, I used to work as a computer programmer in some other company. Using my programming experience I carried out an analysis of the production process at MapleLeaf and came up with a proposal to build a software solution that will manage the company`s production process effectively.

I forwarded the proposal to the GM of the company but I was told the company already has a firm that handles it`s information technology (IT) needs. I began looking for other positions I could fit in within the company. I forwarded one letter after another letter to the GM. I was then directed to see the HR of the company by the GM. The HR was contemplating on what position to put me in and told me I`ll be contacted later. After waiting for about a week with no response from the HR. I decided to go see the HR concerning my job request.

On this fateful day after a boring night shift as a Bielomatik Machine Operator. I rested for a while, freshened up and proceeded to go see the HR at the MapleLeaf head office. Just as I got to the head office I met the HR at the reception. As I walked towards him “YOU CAN`T JUST KEEP BARGING INTO ME MR MAN”, said the HR to me in an angry tone.

I was quite astonished at the HR`s reaction to my presence so I walked away.

After that incident with the HR, I finally came to the conclusion that this was the end of the road for me concerning my advancement in MapleLeaf. So I began to source for jobs elsewhere.

I remember an interview I had with the CEO of Tower Aluminum. The CEO after having gone through my CV requested to know my previous salary as a computer programmer. I told him how much I used to earn previously as a computer programmer but he felt it was quite on the high side for him to work with, and I wasn’t ready to go any lower than my previous salary scale, as a result I didn’t get the job.

I continued my job as Bielomatik machine Operator at MapleLeaf still thinking of what next to do.

On one fateful day while I was having lunch at a canteen in Second Gate not too far from the premises of MapleLeaf. I observed a customer staring at a MapleLeaf exercise book say to himself, “what a nice power-bike”. He then flipped over to the other side of the book and dropped it almost immediately. The customer dropped the exercise book immediately because he could not find any information at the back of the book concerning the very impressive picture of the power-bike he saw at the front of the book.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, I then wrote about the above incident to the GM of MapleLeaf and that was it. The GM requested that I leave what I was doing on the Bielomatik machine and come see him immediately. When I got to the GM`s office, he acknowledge my creativity and told me of the company`s plan to setup a printing press within it`s premises. He further said I would be moved to the printing press as soon as it was ready and that I should carry on with my work as Bielomatik Machine Operator for the mean time. I was even told by my supervisor that the accountant came looking for me saying “who is this Timothy self, that I should make sure I see him before going home after work”.

Friend! Can you see the twist of fate. I who was pursuing the company`s management initially was now being pursued by them. Those that had not seen me before wanted to know who I was. The report I wrote to the GM about my findings on the company`s exercise book made the company to start adding write-ups at the back of their exercise book in their Street Art design series.

Through inspiration, The Holy Spirit gave me an idea that turned things around.

Inspiration is the movement of The Holy Ghost on a man`s mental faculty.

Friend! When you are inspired you know what to do. Joseph knew how to preserve food for more than 15 years without chemicals. He didn`t even have a degree in food storage. He automatically knew how to preserve food via inspiration from the almighty. Even I “Timothy Edoja” automatically know how to write convicting articles through inspiration.

I was later moved to begin work at the MapleLeaf Printing Press after it was completed. The printing press became a mini-factory within the MapleLeaf premises producing high quality paper based prints in large volume.

I and other staff at MapleLeaf began managing operations at it`s Printing Press. The prophecy made by the pastor at the Kingdom Partners Assembly (KPA) had partly come to pass. I say partly because even though I and other staff manage operations at the MapleLeaf Printing Press. My position in the Printing Press is yet to be formalized. I`m yet to realize any other benefit aside the knowledge factor while working at the MapleLeaf Printing Press.

Friend! have you received a vision or prophecy concerning your life, then you have to run with it to bring it to pass. For it is written “write down the vision upon tablet, make it plain so that he who reads it can run with it.” So you see my friend you have to run with your vision to bring it to pass.

MAN OF EXPLOITS! - THE VISION

It was the year twenty-twelve in the city of Lagos Nigeria. I just received information concerning the up-coming National Sports Festival (NSF) which was to be hosted in Lagos State and it was tagged “Eko 2012.”

The National Sports Festival is a bi-annual sports competition held in Nigeria where athletes from different states of the country compete against one another in different sports.

The information concerning the sports festival got to me quite late and as a result, I had less than three months to train in order to represent Lagos state in the hundred meter, two-hundred meter and four-hundred meter sprint competition.

Prior to the competition, I use to train consistently but I stopped training for about a year due to financial constraint and as a result I wasn`t quite in shape for the competition. I knew quite well that three months was too short a time to train and get in shape for the competition but I said to myself “oh well, let`s just do this.”

I started training for the competition at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. At the stadium I met other athletes who had been training consistently for up to two years.
The athletes were in top shape for the competition and here I was with less than three months training time to compete against them.

During the first three weeks of training with the other athletes at the stadium I would be placed about three meters ahead of the other athletes and given the signal to start running while the other athletes will start racing up behind me and they would catch up with me because they were in top shape. But by the fourth week of training, my running endurance was gradually returning.

When it comes to running, the running endurance builds up or returns back faster than the running power.

During the fourth week of training I was placed ahead of another athlete who was a police officer. I was given the signal to start running and the police officer came up running with power behind me. I could feel the police officer closing in on me with power, just as he got to my side; I got angry and increased my acceleration. We were running side by side for about five seconds because I was accelerating really fast due to my quick leg movement. I then let the police officer run ahead since he had built up momentum and we were quite close to the finish line.

After the race, the police officer commended on my fast accelerating ability. I was told to work on my upper body which would drive my legs to move even faster since I have more leg power when it comes to running.

When it comes to running, the legs move faster than the hands. If you train your upper body it will force your legs to move even faster.

Friend! I wasn`t just looking up to upper-body strength to run. I was looking for something much more powerful than upper-body strength. I was looking for the anointing. The anointing for exploits!

And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before A-hab to the entrance of Jezreel.
1 Kings 18:45-46

The spirit of the LORD came upon Elijah and he outran A-hab`s chariot which must`ve been the finest and fastest in the land. He could do so because the hand of the Lord was upon him. Friend! When the anointing of God’s Spirit comes upon you strongly, He quickens your mortal body, He anoints you for exploits! Then you can do or change anything, Hallelujah!

Just like Elijah outran A-hab`s chariot, I was also determined to outrun the chariots but this time not chariots of horses like Elijah did but the chariots of time. I was spiritually determined to set a new world record that no man will break!

After the training with the police officer, I decided to stay back at the stadium to do some private training. Now the stadium was quite scanty as most of the other athletes had left. I then moved towards the start lane and thought to myself “it`s time for exploits!, let the same spirit that came upon Elijah, let it come upon me.”

As I got to the start lane, I looked towards the Heaven and behold I could see the host of Heaven applauding for me. They were welcoming me into the realm of exploits! The lights in the stadium was fantastic, the crowd was cheering me. The camera men were moving on their motorized scooter trying to get first hand pictures of me as I was trying to slow down way past the finish line. I had just set a new un-imaginable world record.

I then moved towards my management and collected copies of my book titled “Man of Exploits!-The Vision” which I gave to the crowd. I had published the book earlier but this gave the book massive sale worldwide. I made so much money from the sale of my book that I payed off billions in tithe to my local church.

Still in the excitement of the fame and fortune that I had just acquired. I got lots of endorsement deals, a request to create a movie version of my book came in. I postponed all request to a later date in order to work on my second book which also sold billions worldwide.

Then all of a sudden I blinked my eyes, looked around and saw that I was still at the National Stadium Surulere in Lagos, Nigeria. I was having a vision.

They that know their God, they dream dreams, they see vision.

I then remembered that I was about to outrun the chariot of time before I had the vision. I thought to myself “let’s put the faith to work.”

On your mark I took position on the start lane. And then I sped off the track, while I was in the acceleration phase.

When running, the acceleration phase is when you move with quick short strides to build momentum. Your body is tilted slightly forward to reduce air resistance.

I was in the acceleration phase when I noticed that there was somebody in the spectator area watching to see me get to top speed. I could tell my fast leg movement had gotten his attention. All this was happening within a time frame of less than three seconds. When running your awareness is heightened, time seems to slow down.

I was still in the acceleration phase waiting for the quickening power of the Holy Spirit.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
