You have to set your price below the company's if you want to sell it.
Also, offer a discount to whoever wants to buy both plots.

This will not be successful because such laws fall under the Exclusive List, i.e. only the FG can make such law. Besides, this will create tribalism, favoritism and nepotism.

Do not compare this law to the one in the UK. The UK does not discriminate among their citizens. The UK comprises four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island. Any person from any of these four countries is treated equally in all respect.

I have lived in the UK for more than 15 years now and have not filled a form where I am asked of 'my state of origin'. They always ask your place of birth only, and how long you have lived in your current address.

Owing to the foregoing, I will not support the proposition of the current law in Nigeria except it discriminates against foreigners.

alotofgrace: one reason i dont take sides in stories like this is that one cannot tell what happened before the event..
buh all jhoin ..askari dey mess up

Just as the police always advise citizens not to take the laws into their hands by setting fire to a thief on the street; NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED THE POLICE HAVE NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO ALSO TAKE THE LAWS INTO THEIR HANDS. Let them practise what they preach. This cannot happen in England. We all saw the London riot a couple of years ago, NO ONE WAS KILLED BY THE POLICE!!! NIGERIAN POLICE SHOULD LEARN FROM ADVANCED COUNTRIES OTHERWISE YOUR CITIZENS WILL NOT RESPECT YOU FOR SHOOTING AN UNARMED CIVILIAN!!! NEVER!!! How can the police be our friends?

alnaijiri:

I'm not making a case of the superiority of Arabs, no! I'm making a case for the Islamic civilisation. Many of the foremost scientists in the early Islamic Nation were non-Arabs, but the key is that those people were able to make these innovations only after conversion to Islam and more importantly, after the establishment of fair legal systems and harmonious societies established by the Islamic government in their respective locales.

When the Xian Europeans burned books in the Middle Ages, the libraries of Islamic Baghdad were the pinnacle of human knowledge and scholarship.

You have to realise that the Arabs were a backward, tribal nomadic society prior to Islam, and of course they could not have come up with civlisation to rival those of Persia, India or Egypt. But after the establishment of the Islamic Nation, ancient Greek and Persian ideas were quickly synthesised into Islamic scholarship. Far more than just technical innovations, Islam allowed for great legal innovations that resulted in the most equitable and harmonious society of its size mankind has ever witnessed, far outdoing its predecessors the Greeks, Persians, Egyptians, or the Romans (the latter three were all known to be extremely cruel and had very rigid unequal societies).

BTW, those Asian economic powers you mentioned are NOT pagan in the same sense as African paganism. Confucianism (a non-superstitious religion/system of morality) is deeply rooted there, and promotes a society of loyal relationships as well as hard work. It does not believe in divine intervention nearly as much as African religions, so do not equate the two.

Even so, Asian societies are harshly unequal, cruel, and unjust. They could do much better with the morality of Islam. But I'm African, and I'd like to focus my energy on the propagation of Islam in Africa.

......When the Xian Europeans burned books in the Middle Ages, the libraries of Islamic Baghdad were the pinnacle of human knowledge and scholarship....

Did you mean the Library of Alexandria burnt in 624 ?

ALL YOUR STORIES ARE FABRICATED IN A BID TO ATTRACT MORE CONGREGATIONS TO YOUR CHURCH. Firstly, there is no such god/orisha named as ORILE in Ogboni Fraternity. Ogboni uses the same pantheons as the Yoruba Ifa/Orisha tradition. Secondly, why give the name and address of your church?

Stop deriding and disrespecting African traditional religion with your conviction that they are evil and that the imported ones are good. Stop the act now!! You may think that your are doing your god a favour and converting more souls to worship him. In reality, your knowledge of religion and spirituality is very myopic and needs widening its horizon.

striktlymi:

There is absolutely nothing wrong in herbalists performing divination for you if it is done by a true Babalawo or Ifa priest. Compare the process to your pastor revealing to you what the holy spirit has said after a short prayer. The process is the same but while your pastor does that through the western orthodox religion, the Babalawo also does the same through African Traditional Religion like Ifa or Odinala.

your testimony here proves that christianity can be used for evil.

Let us remember here that: ''Power is Neutral'' and can be used for both evil and good. There is no evil or good power. Whether the person invoking such power or 'prayer' is a christian, muslim, ATR, etc. it does not matter. Hence, the Bible, Quran, Bhagavad Gita, Book of Shadows, Upanisad, etc can be used to do evil or good depending on the doer's intension.

FOLYKAZE: Omo Iya!

Are you omo Iya or just copied stuff from some site?

I got some questions to ask

This is based on personal experience and the work I have been doing on for several years in christianity, Sharmanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Alchemy, Esoteric Christianity, Mohammedanism, Hare Krishna, Sufism, Grail Movement, Freemanson, Martinism, Magic, Eckankar, Golden Dawn, New age religion, etc. I have belonged to many of these fraternities in a bid to understand what they do at various times. Hence, my 15-point statement is based on personal experience and not just fallacies, hearsay or what I merely read from websites.
Now, I have returned home after more than 13 years living in the UK. I have finally come to join the religion of my ancestors, "Wetin you dey find go Sokoto, e dey for shokoto trouser".

Religion / Ogboni, Odinala, Freemanson And Amorc Fraternities - The Absolute Facts by Tiphareth(m): 2:06pm On Oct 27, 2013
Dear All, here is my 15- point facts based on my knowledge, experience and exposures on affairs relating to these fraternities:
(1) Ogboni Fraternity is an African Traditional Religion (ATR) with many factions just like Christianity with different types. The most popular is the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity (ROF) and the Aborigine Ogboni Fraternity (AOF)
(2) Both the ROF and the AOF were derived from the Yoruba IFA/Orisha traditional religion which recognises and worships GOD through the Yoruba pantheons like Sango, Obatele, Osun, Ogun, Orunmila, etc.
(3) The Ibo version of Ogboni is the Odinala traditional religion which worships GOD through Chi (one's guardian angel), Amadioha, Ikenga, Agwu, Ezenwayi, etc
(4) The Western version of Ogboni is Christianity religion which worships GOD through Jesus and other dieties and saints found in the Bible.
(5) The Eastern version of Ogboni is Islam religion which worships GOD through Mohammed and other Islamic Saints found in the Holy Quran.
(6) Other eastern versions of Ogboni are Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc which worship GOD through Buddha, Krishna, etc as found in their Holy Books.
(7) In a nutshell, The Greeks worship their own God, Indians their own God, Chinese their own Gods, Israelites their own God, Saudi Arabian their own God, etc. The people of these countries are promoting their gods and Culture and don't regard their God as evil.
(cool Africans that worship their own God through Ogboni and Odinala are constantly stigmatised by their ignorant African brothers and sisters and are accused of worshipping the Devil.
(9) The Stigma attached to worshippers of ATR led to the formation of the ROF which tries to incorporate some masonic styles into Ogboni to make it look western by admitting only Christians and Muslims only in a bid to make the Colonial masters accept the fraternity because they tried to eradicate Ogboni and hence, our African culture completely in other to steal our wealth.
(10)Conclusively, Ogboni, Odinala, Freemansons, Grail Message, AMORC, Eckankar, Golden Dawn, Martinism, etc are the esoteric parts of our exoteric religions and there is NOTHING absolutely EVIL in belonging to any of them at all.
(11) People who seek to belong to these Fraternities are those who are fed up with the exoteric religions and are seeking to know and understand GOD better and to be in union with their Holy Guardian Angel. They know that this Union will protect them, eradicate earthly problems through obeying the inexorable Laws of Nature: "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU"
(12) There are a number of Bad eggs in all these fraternities and religions and to generalise that any of them is bad due to a minority is stereotyping and like calling every Muslim in London and American a terrorist.
(13) GOD is so mighty and magnificent that only ONE religion, fraternity or mode of worship cannot encompass HIM. That is why we are all different in colours, race, languages, tribes, countries, religions, height, riches, etc, etc.
(14) Let us all come together and WORSHIP God in which ever method we believe in and STOP criticizing those ways we do not believe, knowing fully well that ALL things emanate from GOD.
(15) No single religion, fraternities or mode of worship is superior, what matters is the individual person's devotion and practice of LOVE. But since in all these religions, GOD is somewhat worshipped indirectly through Our Forefathers (Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, Orunmila, Obatele, Krishna, etc. It becomes logical IMHO, to worship God through our traditional pantheons; perhaps, our prayers may be quickly answered as "Blood is thicker than Water"
