But the governors who rebranded the buses jeopardised the efforts of the masses that time by agreeing with Jonathan.

Some of you guys here are abusing me for telling you the facts about those buses. See, i was opportuned to be there when they were rebranding those buses at the state secretariat at agodi ibadan. To be precise, those buses were parked on the car park between ministry of finance and women development/water corporation building. i took some pictures back then but i dont want to be forced to release them online now.

Why coming up as another liar? Yes they are rebranded as the State shuttle buses. And that is how it should be. They are meant to be used in the States, not only FCT. Therefore they have been made to reflect the State identity. Hope you are cleared.

What i noticed about these buses is that most PDP ruled states do not rebrand them, they are left with the inscription of federal govt but those given to APC ruled states were quickly rebranded to their states name.

The hummer buses (18 seats) are subsidy buses promised by GEJ and given to the states but Oyo State government repainted them and re-named them Ajumose shuttles but the bigger buses used within the town, i think the state govt bought those ones to supplement the subsidy buses and they called all of them Ajumose. The idea was from federal government but Oyo state only seized that opportunity to 'fool' the citizens into thinking its their own program for the state.
The subsidy buses came from federal government in white colours and on the body there were inscriptions 'Federal Government Mass Assisted Transport Scheme' and below that there was ' Supported by ............Bank'. I forgot the name of the bank.

This a trade union for the advancement of their interests and it is a shame that Nigerians who have been bearing the brunt of their mafia-vice grip on the polity, will join in this macabre dance of who won the election or not.
These men, through this union, dictate who becomes a councillor, Local govt chairman, state and federal legislators and (since 2007) President!
The effect of this ,is that being a governor automatically qualifies one for the office of President. They did it in 2007, when two of their members became President and vice. When Yar'adua died, they nominated one of their own as vice to the present president. Now our choice of President has been reduced to these 36 governors, who are anti-democrats and development(check how they run their states).
People like Prof Pat utomi, oby Ezekwesili, Dora Akunyili et al, who are qualified for the office of President will never get there ,since they won't have the support of the NGF.
NB: Anyone that wanted to mention Fashola or Akpabio as doing well, should stop and marry the level of development in those states with what accrues to the state from the FG and revenue.
