Hello House, I have been offered admission in UTAS and cleared with all the paper work to make payment for fees. My course start date is Feb, 2021. I am just thinking aloud if borders will be opened at that time. If not, is it worth paying fees when you cannot start the program and just lock-up your funds with the school.
Please I need advice. Thank you

Logistics/Supply chains is big in Australia, you stand a chance of state sponsorship after your two years of studying in Tassie and the downside is jobs opportunities to support yourself and family is limited compare to other places. Prepare financially for at least your first year and you are good to go.

Thank you bligs.
Your response is encouraging. Please can i get your contact?
Thanks in advance

I have a challenge which I believe people that have been in this journey for a while can help me.
I have a B.sc in Finance and an M.Sc in Purchasing and supply chain mgt and have a 5yrs experience in procurement. AIM is the assessing body for Procurement Manager and Supply/Distribution Manager which only assesses Senior Managers level. However, I don't have their requirements as my job is only on a functional level. Can I use Vettasses for assessment? Please i need advice cos I don't want to go wrong. Thank you[/quote]

@Firstly mum nd Shrekandfiona. Thank you so much for taking time to explain. I'll just keep my hands crossed with or without their scan.

@ Shrekandfiona, thank you for the response. The thing is I didn't come along with my early scans results. I jst came with the hosp report showing my edd. The edd the hosp used too is -3 weeks (31 weeks). I wonder why they used that after measuring with hand nd tape saying it's 34 weeks.

Hello everyone. Just want to share my experience frm POE to my destination(Phoenix). Up to doc office.
Sorry for the long letter
I flew with Emirates frm abuja. I was d only preggy on d flight to Seattle. By the time I got to d queue, I noticed I was the only person with a green passport. Since I came out of d flight early, it got to my turn fast.
Cbp: why ar u here? Vacation nd birthing
Hw long will u be staying? Estimate of 9 weeks
Are u having a boy or girl? Yet to know
Is dis ur first child? No, 3rd
Where did u give birth to the others? Nig
So, why do u want to giv birth here? Better healthcare
Will ur husband be coming? Don't knw yet cos he's busy
Hw much do u have? 6000
Have u contacted a doc? Yes, gave him my appointment letter frm MHIS nd contract form.he was impressed.
Do u have any other moni? Told him amt in my debit card
Sign me in till Feb 2016. And said have a safe delivery
I didn't even go for food inspection. I jst walked past cos my luggage was one small box that I had some food stuff.

I went to the hosp d following day 5th aug . After paying bills in cash, they gave me 13th to see a doc but I insisted that I was already 35 weeks gone. So, they gave me the nxt day. Went back the following day nd they did all the test nd gave me one elderly papa (Dr Collins). He measured my stomach nd said I was 31weeks but I told him I was past that weeks that I have a small stomach nd from the early scans I did, I'm 35 weeks already. I then demanded for a scan but was given the end of this month. I told myself this people are not serious oo, what if I give birth b4 that day? Anyway I'm waiting but very angry. When I discussed it with a doc, he said early scans are more accurate than late scan. And they measure the fondant height by certain parameters. And becos my stomach is small, they might use it to make judgement. Mwee.....
Has anyone used Dr Collins at MHIS? What's ur experience with him? Just curious

I finally got a PTA from Diamnd Bank Muhamed Buhari Way after a huge heartache from one branch that told e they can't sell to a customer that has less than six months acct. By Gods grace will get the balance of my medical bill to show at POE.

Hello Happymum,
I am a august mum going to Phoenix and have booked an appointment with the finance office.
Saw ur post on the hospital appointment u got after your visit to the finance office. I jst noticed that the maternity package plan has changed in the MIHS website from ''others outside Maricopa County'' to " Others in Arizona". This means anybody outside Arizona is not included in the package. Want to ask if this will affect my appointment

Thank you

@teeboztb

I still need other opinion cos i don't have anybody in the US to stay with and the USA Birth International offer accomodation, doctor, nanny, transport, visits to the hospital and others in their package which is about 7k +.
I want to know the genuineness of this arrangement and if it is cost effective rather than going to look for accomodation on my own cos i will be 34 weeks by mid august when i want to travel.
Any other suggestions from those that are in the USA or mum's to be. Thank you
