A founding member of the iconic music group, The Supremes, Mary Wilson, is dead.

The legendary singer, best known for co-founding the group at the age of 15 alongside Diana Ross and Florence Ballard in Detroit, died at the age of 76 at her home in Las Vegas on Monday.

The cause of her death is yet to be announced.

Her long-term publicist, Jay Schwartz, confirmed her death to Fox News and disclosed that Wilson’s funeral service would be held privately in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.

Schwartz also said a public memorial would be scheduled for later in the year.

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has provided the latest injury update on midfielder, Thomas Partey, ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Leeds United on February 14.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has remained coy over his chances of becoming Nigeria’s next president.

Amaechi, speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, said only God knows the country’s next leader.

The former Governor of Rivers state also insisted he is focusing on his job as a minister under President Muhammadu Buhari and would not like to be distracted.

It’s true, things could change but in the meantime accept the facts of the situation, that way you won’t be hopeful for some classic chick flick outcome where the person who broke your heart shows up at your door with a wedding ring and begs for you to get back together. It’s not going to happen.

#2 Let it go. You should listen to the Disney song, Let It Go. These Disney songs are getting real. Let it go. It’s the only way that you’ll be able to free your mind and heart. If you accept what happened, then the next step is to understand that, and then make a promise to yourself that you must move forward.

#3 Go out. Don’t do what I did and eat ice cream on my couch – I actually enjoyed it, however, after cleaning out two tubs, it was time to reevaluate my life. Get your shoes on, and go for a walk. Go to the market. Go to the cafe. See your friends. Yes, your heart is broken but you’re still breathing – don’t allow someone to take your time away from you.

#4 Don’t dwell on the past. Don’t you even dare, “what if…” me. No. Stop it. Don’t look back. If you did this or you did that, it wouldn’t have changed anything. Thinking, “what if I tried harder?” will do nothing but aggravate your mind. Sure, you could have done this or that, you could have done hundreds of different things, but you didn’t.

And in all honesty, even if you did, would that have changed anything? You’ll never know. So, let that go. It happened. It’s over. Now, move forward.

Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman, who died after a private battle with colon cancer has received a posthumous nomination for his role in the Netflix film “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.”

The nominations for 2021 Golden Globe Awards, celebrating the best in television and film, were announced on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old was nominated for best performance by an actor in a drama.

Boseman died during post-production of the film, which was directed by George C. Wolfe.

Also, the nominations had a mix of old and new faces, with Netflix leading in both television and film nominations.

“The Trial of the Chicago 7” came second with five nominations.

Larry Thompson, her manager, made the announcement on Thursday.

The history maker died two days after her memoir, Just as I Am was published.

Tyson became the first African American to win a lead actress Emmy Award for her performance in The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman.

Gal Pissetzky and Vicki Podberesky, the two US lawyers who were representing Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi, have applied to withdraw from the case.

They have both filed an application at the United States District Court in California, stating their intent.

The application was submitted on January 21 and the court will hear it on February 22.

#1 Don’t focus on it. Here’s the thing, we all know the people that are trying to be cool. They’ll hang around the cool kids and kiss their asses if they need to, just to get validation. But, truly cool people aren’t focused on what will make them look cool. They just are who they are. So, though you’re going to follow these guidelines, don’t obsess about them because people will easily catch on.

#2 Don’t be needy. Cool kids have people come to them, not the other way around. They’re not needy or desperate. When you’re needy, people don’t feel that you’re reliable when it comes to your opinion. However, if you’re laid back, then people will feel the need to come to you and seek advice.

And plus, we all know that neediness isn’t attractive no matter who you are. Don’t beg people, don’t cling around them, and don’t have others solve your problems.

#3 You have to be yourself. If you want to know how to be cool, you need to be yourself. I know you’re thinking, but being myself isn’t cool! But it is. You are your own person which is what makes you unique. To be cool means to be yourself in the most genuine of ways, and actually like yourself for who you are. If you copy other people and be someone you’re not, everyone catches on, which makes you uncool.

#4 Keep your self-advertisement to a minimum. You know in the movies how the cool guy is always the strong and silent type that reads a philosophy book in the corner of the cafeteria? Okay, well there’s a reason why people are drawn to him. It’s because he’s mysterious. He’s not telling you everything that you want to hear.
