To me, the current Big Bang model needs to be modified as it really doesn't make any sense in nature.

I prefer to think of the Big Bang as being the result of a supermassive black hole, and it was localized in our part of the observable universe. It did not create the universe, but rather all expended energy from the black hole transformed naturally and eventually became the objects we see in the observable universe. As the mass and energy of a black hole shrinks, its gravitational effects on space also decreases and expansion naturally occurs.

And it wasn't the only big bang to occur. A big bang is merely the recycling of energy and matter, first being trapped by the titanic gravitational forces, breaking all matter down to energy over billions of years, and as the black hole evaporates particles escape from the event horizon and get transformed eventually into different forms of matter and energy. Therefore, my position is that big bangs via black holes occur constantly all through an eternal universe, recycling energy and matter endlessly.

This position eliminates an origin to the universe, and solves the puzzle of "what came before the Big Bang?"

The answer? Everything.

Nah, not really. If anything, I'm crazy jealous of him. I can almost bet that others in the family are actually envious but they're just too scared to admit. He's single, in his 60s, swimming in wealth and having the time of his life. He's one of the few I know who are completely unfazed by social conventions. You can always literally see it in his face. He's got this hilarious childlike and trollish persona which makes it hard to take him serious at times. A textbook definition of the cool uncle. He doesn't ooze regret. So my big sis got married early this December and she's my only sibling, so I'm supposed to be the one to carry on the family name as the only son of my dad. Naturally, during the week of my sister's wedding, family members were teasing me about my "future wife" and giving me "hints" for when I want to get married. Some will straight up ask me if I'm seeing anyone and also ask when I plan to get married.
But the thing is, I actually couldn't care less about getting married. To start with, I don't know if I could handle staying with one person my entire life even if I met a girl that I loved and vibed with 100% (and that's a big IF because its not easy for me coming across a girl I really like). I value my freedom, plus I'm not too keen on having to raise kids.

One of my uncles is in his 60s and still unmarried, and because of this, he gets a lot of disrespect from his siblings and even his nephews, despite the fact that he is financially stable and capable, perhaps even moreso than most in our family. Because of this, I try to be careful not to give off any vibes of marriage apathy to my relatives since it seems to be a quick way to attract anger and scorn.

I just don't see what the big deal is with marriage anyways but if you can, please change my mind.

I have no great excitement for any of the future announced Marvel movies at the moment. There a couple I am interested in seeing....but the thrill is gone for me. While I liked INFINITY WAR and ENDGAME.....I saw no reason to kill off characters because some actor's contracts were up. I have watched multiple actors play James Bond, Tarzan, Superman, Batman, etc......I could have watched a new actor play Iron Man or Captain America. ENDGAME was an ending. My set of MCU films from IRON MAN to ENDGAME make a grand set and series that I will continue to re-watch when ever I can. Yes, I know that SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME came after ENDGAME....but it seems (to me) to be the start of the new stuff and doesn't fit in with the other movies. I will watch future MCU films as they are released....but I will not be waiting on the edge of my seat for them like I did all the others.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to fantastic 4 and xmen, ....but in terms of waht we know they're working on, my enthusiasm has never been lower.

I never read master of kung fu or Black widow or Captain marvel etc. etc. etc. comic books. I never watched cartoons with them.

I mostly read fantastic 4 and Hulk, but characters like Thor, Iron man, Captain america spilled over and I knew them from cartoons etc. so I had an interest in those films.

I'll probably watch Black widow etc. when they come to video, but I'll only go to the theater if I have some time to kill..... there's no real excitement or anticipation from me for anything coming in the near-term.

Well now I’m not sure we need to be surmising anything about death. Have we any evidence that consciousness can exist without a functioning physical brain? If not then I will disbelieve that claim, not because this means I know it is false, but because there is no other criteria for disbelief that I am aware of.
