What a shame! I still find it unbelievable how a nice and happy family relationship can aggravate the suicidal tendency of the late doc. It would be an unpleasant and depressing /distressing situation that caused it, especially when there appeared to be no ways of escape. And to the person stressing that he knows them so well, did you live with them? How are you so sure that the man never battered her? What if the man actually threw her down the 2 storey building? At least that's a possibility when/if abuse was happening. I think this case should be investigated properly and don't be too much in a hurry to declare the husband innocent. If the woman had suicidal tendencies, what steps did the man take to alleviate or aggravate the situation? That man is prime suspect, forget about whether the woman 's family absolved him or not. Chances are that he threw her down in a moment of rage(in which case, he's the one who needs psychiatric attention.
