Age is not a barrier; though, the chances are limited. It is just that at that 35 years and above you are not expected to pursue some kinds of visa options. If pursuing student visa, it must be PhD and really a matured route. But you will see 35 years in Nigeria pursuing BSc after reducing his age. So, the consular staff dont have eyes to see one is telling lies?

I am sure the job route you are talking about does not discriminate concerning age. I know the route isn't possible for the US, and we have discussed it. And true, after 35 the chances are limited for professionals in Canada too. Why? The Canadian option too does not make getting job a criterion to apply. And they know that over 35 years people are lazy to start learning new things.

But when they see someone who is able to still develop himself, I dont think age is a barrier. You cannot be in Artificial Intelligence and get a job and they deny you with all the evidences you present. They just will give you the visa if you truly have the job, except the US who I have said has faulty interview process. And as a 40+ years old person, you go as a contractor or specialist via business or conference. Just have travelling history and many other stuff. Then return after your initial travel. Set the option to switch to another category cos you can only do that from the US and not from Nigeria. This is what many dont know. Every country has it's own unique style.

Everyone has equal chance in my opinion. One just has to look for the option that fits him or her and work towards it. At 35, they expect you to be able to spend well and not hustle. At a tender age they expect you to have sponsors so you dont go hustle. It's the same. But Nigerians have perfected the style to beat the options for young people. And this is why older people will start having more opportunities than the young. Young Nigerians are too deceptive.

Let's focus on the tech start up businesses we have been discussing.
