Hello Bkoks Your payslip and/or evidence of Pension should suffice. Tax should be the one the Company is remitting on your behalf (PAYE). I did not include bank statements for employment - Just Payslips. I also have self employment - invoices, bank statements and tax certificate were submitted. All the best! Bkoks: |

Hello RealtorOtabor You should have a positive assessment - all docs/info assumed to be appropriately submitted. Also, still in the pool for VISA 189, VISAs 190 & 491 for territories that have Valuer on their occupation list. All the best! RealtorOtabor: |

Knight1: well said @Knight1. However @DJMJ your tax receipt(s) is/are sufficient enough. It shows your name and the fact that tax is paid. You can back this up with a statement explaining that by virtue of your employment, you are assessed on PIT (personal Income tax basis - direct assessment) not PAYE (pay-as-you-earn). For PIT (direct assessment) you are assessed annually - which should tally with the kind of receipt you have. All the Best! |

cdieli: Skills Assessment for Professional Occupations Our Skills Assessment for General Professional Occupations is for you if you are planning to migrate to Australia and your occupation is classed as a general professional occupation. If you haven't already determined how we categorise your occupation, check to see if it is a general professional or trade occupation. Please note that we are unable to provide migration advice. cdieli: Skills Assessment Support Skills Assessment Support (SAS) services are for migration agents and prospective applicants who are yet to submit their Skills Assessment application to VETASSESS. The SAS services aim to provide additional and tailored support to applicants and agents for submitting an assessment-ready application for general professional occupations assessed by VETASSESS. There are two different SAS services: Consultation Service This service provides tailored information via a 30 minute phone consultation about the VETASSESS Skills Assessment criteria for occupational classifications. Document Checking Service This service checks whether the documentation you are planning to provide for a skills assessment will be sufficient for a Skills Assessment application. 1 Like |

Akeabasi: The payment would be done through your profile. This is the last thing to be done, as the person will have to click on submit all documents or so before applying the payment at the end. Meaning, you have to release your details and probably do a video call with the person. All the Best! |

cdieli: Hi cdieli If you are claiming self employment, you need statutory declaration to state your roles/responsibilities and it must be notarized. All the Best! 1 Like |

Akeabasi: Hi Akeabasi I made my payment through someone outside Nigeria - this is the best option I suppose. It was seamless. If you know someone in Aussie, better for you to let that person make payment on your behalf. All the Best! 1 Like |

DJMJ: Hi DJMJ From Experience, what you should do is, in your CV, introduce what exactly a civil engineer does in this side of the world - which is equivalent to the roles/responsibilities of a draughts person in some other climes. You can also include a statement, explaining in details that a draughts person is also known as a civil engineer in Nigeria (like a background to the civil engineering career path/track in Nigeria). All the Best! |

cdieli: Hi I really don't understand what you mean by SAS. However, the requirement as seen on VETASSESS site is: Payment evidence: Payment evidence can include one of the following types: Pay slips (ideally your first and last payslip); - This can be staggered to include one from each relevant year of experience. Taxation Records of Assessment (bearing company and applicant name) Bank Statements showing at least two salary payments, your name and the employer's name; OR Employment-linked insurance / superannuation records (bearing company and applicant name). emphasis on ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TYPES. Akeabasi: Attach the Certificate yourself. Also, attach a note explaining what has happened. Most importantly, track your transcript till it gets to VETASSESS. Then send an email again explaining what has happened (if you can, get your school to send you an email, so you can attach it as an evidence that the school admitted to forgetting the certified true copy). All the Best! |

Akeabasi: It's best to attach the relevant period of your bank statement. I.e., if you are attaching payslips, pick only the pages that reflect the period of the payslips' figures. All the Best! |

bellong: @cdieli This is correct. However, I will advise against it. From experience, my school tried using ETX.NG, but I got the report that VETASSESS might have blocked receiving mails from addresses with the - .ng (dot ng) dormain. So, it's best to stick with courier/paper based delivery, so you wont have any issues like I did (for 3 whole weeks - it was very painful, at a point I was like choi! Villa people why nah) because I decided to use the email option. After paying for mail thru ETX.NG. I had to reapply and revert to paper based and it was smoother & sweeter. They seem to have their acts around the courier better. All the Best! 3 Likes |

jabberjawz: You are spot on. But it is better to write this letter yourself, so you can be detailed enough to cover your relevant experience. Then, you give whoever is to sign on behalf of the Organisation. Yes - ‘To whom it may concern’ will do. All the best! |

JFA01: Hello JFA01 Your wife may go ahead and apply for the Valuer occupation. It isn't saturated at all, like the Accountant occupation. In fact, she may apply for Valuer or Land Economist, as they have exactly the same requirements. For her assessment, she should go with the qualification that will not hamper her experience (unless if there was no gap btw her Btech & Mtech). Also note that we have two categories of institutions: Tier 1 Schools (Unilag, OAU, FUTA & Uni of Ibadan - a four year course will suffice) Tier 2 Schools (Others - with a 5 year or more course). I believe Estate Management is a 5year course, so she is good to go anyways. As for you, you will only be required to do the English Test to give her an additional 5points. All the best! 2 Likes |

Kampack: You are not bothering... it's better to get it right once and for all. So, for VETASSESS, the ref number isn't really important. They have a way to match docs to its owners. Hence, it is safe to go ahead. Just ensure the appropriate mailing address is indicated on the package and you are tracking the parcel all the way. For instance, I think they are still on lock down. So, you can send a mail to them with your tracking number and ask that they contact the courier company to redirect the parcel to a preferred address. But ensure you keep tracking, so you can alert them when the parcel gets to Melbourne - I did this for my transcripts, respectively. All the best! |
