Beauty is to some degree subjective, and it’s important that we don’t take everyone else’s opinion at face value.

We should look to discover what we find truly beautiful, whether that be in art, in people, or in nature.

One reason you should know that Igbos are the engine of Nigeria's existence is this:

Everybody don't want them to go and form their own country yet everybody pretend they don't like Igbos.

It is on global record that this same Igbo people want to leave you guys peacefully and go form their own country for peace to reign but it is you same Yorubas that will scream and curse them when they try to secede from Nigeria.

That should tell you who is the problem.

Let Yorubas wake up one day and bravely say they want Oodua Republic, and watch the whole Nigeria of all tribe celebrate their exit but when Igbo say they want to leave, everybody start to shiver and fight them, isn't it obvious they are the ones holding Nigeria together and also holding what other Nigerians need to survive, why so bitter about them yet you don't want them to leave
Sorry if I may ask? Who is the everybody

I will first call the citizens, show them the blue print of the new Nigeria. I will have all the dirty secrets of the past leaders, probably waste all of them. I will re-ammend the constitution, minimum requirement for a president must be MSc. I will scrap the post of state Governors. From the president to the LGS. I will divide the country into residential and industrial sectors, workers will be employed on shift basis so that the industrial sector can accommodate every one. I will legalize weed and prostitution, but you need a permit which can only be given to a certain age group and u can only use twice a week. every individual is permitted to 2stick of weed per week, if u wanna smoke, and permitted to visit a brothel twice a week(this is to eliminate abuse and rape) I will place capital punishment on crimes such as corruption, rape, and some other stuffs...
Education will be a must, worship centres will be one in each LGA. nothing like state of origin, only ur Lg will be required. I will eliminate Tribe, but promote every culture...

lemme just stop here sha

I really wish I could see this dream come to pass cos of the way the society is going... how will our future be? what will our legacy to our children

Romance / Re: Why Do Women Love Those Guys That Treat Them Like Trash??? by toby2(m): 9:40am On Mar 26, 2020
my own take on this issue is that, ladies like adventures, dangerous and crazy stuffs when younger. at that stage, they wanna test, know and feel things... and guess what, only the rugged fearless guys will do that cos they are courageous enough to do that. But here is the catch, an average nice guy is an intelligent person who knows risk, weighs risk and decide the SAFEST option to take, she doesn't want SAFE at that point, no... she wants the HARDENED guy to lead the way. They all just want to enjoy the moment, only very few think or plan for the latter.
in their older more matured years, they tend to look back, see all the shit they have done, and laugh at themselves knowing they had it all, but will go to those nice future planning dude to enjoy the dividend of labour with them.
Bottom line, be yourself, do your best and live the rest. don't treat anyone bad cos of how u have been treated, you might be the last straw of hope for that guy or girl.
I am always battling with this, but then I will always choose to be NICE and good regardless of how u dish it to me. people with love are not weaklings, they are strongest.
and to the bad boys and girls, well I hope u remember KARMA is a bitch, she got ur address, and she never forgets.

Yes,have been dating my bf for (15yrs)he was my first nd the only one have ever loved, our problem started when my dad said he witnessed where exhibited an unruly characters to some elders and also cos of the friends he moves with recently as at then and that he wasnt comfortable with our relationship (which i pleaded and made him understand everyone deserves another chance but cos how principled my dad was he insisted he won't consent to our union)
To be candid, this is the guy have share all my life with,he's all i wanted in a man but my dad opinion ruined our relationship.

I think seperation from my husband is all i need just for clarity sake but honestly, the more i try to make the marriage work the more i drift away from him and I dont know how to go about it.

I have visited two marriage counsellors without informing my husband all in my effort to work things but not yielding results as expected

sorry for poke nosing... I intended on reading and moving before I saw this comment... ma, u are already married, not to the 4years guy, but to the 15years guy. just leave the former cos even ur child will not forgive u if u allow his dad to continue to be starved of love. The earlier the better, you can only make this work by leaving that marriage and set the man free... I am not a divorce advocate but yes, u have been married before ur parents married u out.

Children the bible says are a heritage from the lord... as arrows in the hands of a mighty man, so are they...
It's quite unfortunate in this scenario what kind of arrows are been bred in some part of this country, particularly t hmm e northern hemisphere. You go to the bus park, canteen and what have you and there u find this places crawling with children who are supposedly to have a father and mother, while other children their age group are in schools or in the safe harbour of their parents, this ones are begging for a living. For quite a while now the word ALMAJIRI is no new thing in the country, some past leaders try to absorb this children into schools where they don't have to pay a dime to be accepted, while other administration promised free feeding programs for them. But to my greatest surprise, they still are in the street.

RESEARCH ON ALMAJIRI
According to the research I made about the above subject, it was discovered that Al Majiri was a well structured quranic educational system that was funded by the emirs, parents, and proceeds from the farm, before the Britons came, destroyed as usual and placed an embargo on its funding (long story cut short though, you can read it up).
Irrespective of whatever was the cause or genesis of this, there are presently about 7million children littering the streets of this country. Pls,I do want to urge every reader, leader or anybody of influence to pls start an ALMAJIRI campaign program where this children could be harboured and rehabilitated, thought how to read and write and probably put up for adoption with the condition that they can see their parents.
I mean there are lots of wealthy people in our society who have no kids, some can easily cater for an extra one or two kids... pls something needs to be done about this children.
The legislative arm could also establish a law of barring people from having more kids if they do not have the capacity to cater for them. Pastors and imams should also preach it in their sermons. Whether we like it or not, this children are part of this society, and if wrongly handled will grow to become a menace to this country...
I wish this could be published so that every concerned citizen of this country can be a part of the SAVE THE ALMAJIRI CAMPAIGN GROUP. Thanks.
