Pls if my travel date to Brazil is august 15th and my visa got approved last week,can I travel before that August 15th?

Yet to attend mine but will do so this week. Will definitely let you know how it goes. Hopefully it goes well.

@bittersweet how did this situation eventually play out. Was your visa granted? Asking cause I’m in the same boat right now. How was the interview and what did you tell them?

Please i need assistance on this predicament. I tried to renew via IW and was refused. When my passport came back, i was asked to come on any thursday with a cost estimate and budget for my proposed medical treatment. I was beyond shocked because i didn't apply for a medical visa. I went back and checked my DS160 application and found out i clicked B2 in error instead of B1/B2. My previous visas were B1/B2. How can i remedy this situation? Any advise will be highly appreciated,please
