Romance / Re: My Problem With Nigeria Girls by todiade: 5:05pm On Mar 17, 2022
Not all Nigerian girls are entitled sha. Probably 20% of them are not, if not less. A lot of them are just broke and this has made them entitled. I don't believe a well to do lady would have poverty alleviation mentality in a relationship.

From personal experience, I dated a lady who was doing okay (around a 500k salary), when I was earning way less and she did not have any expectations, she rather helped me manage the little I had then. When I became buoyant enough to take care of her, no one told me to spend on her. Even at this stage, she still never asked when she knew I could afford it. The provider in me just came out.

Fast forward, things went wrong and we had to go our seperate ways. Now I am with a classic naija babe (not dating). Always asking for money, I just laugh and occasionally give her the regular 10 to 20k. I definitely cannot date her because of these and i cannot give her more than what i would spend at the bar, I recently still gifted my ex 20 times what I would give this girl cos I appreciate her.

Looking at both situations, the difference between them is so obvious, my ex was always looking for a way to be a better version of herself, this really made her grow in many aspects of her life (mentally, Financially e.t.c). While the other person is focused on what she can get from others and developing herself is not an option for her

We as guys are also at fault, we allow all these ladies into our lives because of looks or shape that we would get tired of. As for me sha, I don't even hide it , I cannot date a broke girl. If you like, be Kim k. You broke, you will be FWB or friend. I definitely do not need a woman's money right now, but i am running from liabilities. If women can make this choice, what's stopping me from doing that.
