In SK, at a point you would need to leave the country no matter how long you stay, Norway has more opportunities as it's easy to Integrate in Europe and human right is well respected, I can't say the same for Asia.

Thanks so much my brother

You are being offered work visa by whom? By those scam Nigerian travel agents who claim they have different visas and work permits for different countries ba?

How did you manage to get job offers for two different countries when you know absolutely nothing about the countries in question? How did you know where to apply for jobs in Norway and South Korea when you know nothing about Norway or South Korea?

You people just come on Nairaland, create this dubious threads and think everyone on this forum is naive and dumb.

You think getting a work permit for advanced countries like Norway or South Korea na beans? Abi you think say na Ghana you dey go? In this Covid-19 pandemic where so many jobs have been lost and many countries don't even have enough jobs for their own citizens, you a Nigerian suddenly have a job offer in Norway and South Korea.

Tomorrow now, we will see your face and name in the news for drug trafficking or online scam. You better sit down in your country and start livestock farming. Our country Nigeria needs affordable food including meat

Asians did not run away from their countries when their countries were underdeveloped. They stayed back and fixed their countries. Same can be said for the western Europeans and scandinavians. They created thriving societies they wanted their children to live in. However the African is always running away.

Who do you think will fix your country for you? Did South Koreans create a thriving society for you the African to come and enjoy? Did Norwegians create a thriving society for you the African to come and enjoy? Think about it.

You are really dumb . Did I come here to advertise anything or anyone here can say I collected a dime from them cos I wonder where the DUBIOUS word is coming from.
Saying I know nothing about the two countries shows how shallow minded you are. I only came to nairaland to seek opinions from people that have been to been there too just to double check my findings and dot my I . You are here saying rubbish.
Its people like u that ends up getting frustrated and will be involved in criminal acts.

You know what where I got those offers from isn't your business. You can continue wallowing in your FOOLISHNESS.

What is your headache with either I got a job or an agent? Is it your money?? I tried to be polite with you but u seems to display ur stupidity more.
The fact that u are in Canada now means that u know all abi. Its you that will CRY.
I will come back here and proof u wrong.

Why does it hurt some Nigerians so much when they discover someone is making plans to leave this country??..

Now I know why some people will travel out and not even inform their so called friends.. cos the negativity, pessimism and bad vibes is just too much.. tufiakwa!!

Well OP.. as for me I prefer Norway to SK.cos I just love the way of life of the Scandinavians ... Plus most Norwegians understand English.. I feel it would be easier to fit in than South Korea. Thank you!

Thanks so much

Both countries are thriving and poses opportunities for hardworking minds. Left for me I'd go for South Korea, been an IT and Engineering inclined person, plus the weather is favorable, considering the geographical location, I can't say same for Norway.

Thanks.

WhyNa:
So guys sadly, a lockdown is imminent.

Some Chinese peeps sneaked into the country through the borders and that's how someone in Da Nang got the virus. Da Nang has already been locked down.

However, since this is summer and Da Nanag is one of the tourist cities, alot of people and families traveled down there for vacation.

Some of whom proceeded to other cities or went back to their abode BEFORE the new case was discovered.

This morning, a guy that works at a pizza place has been confirmed positive. This is happening in Hanoi. He was in Da Nang with his family.

Hoping and praying this doesn't get out of hand and shut down the whole country again. We gats make this money

For those looking to come down here, this may be the extension you're looking for in order to save up more money

While you're at it, get a laptop and learn to prepare slides on power point if you don't already know how to. It is must for teachers here except you get a job that doesn't use laptops and projector and I'd advice...run away from them cos it's super boring and tedious.

Hope everyone is doing good

Photo unrelated......Hanoi traffic. Glad I ran away from it grin grin
Thanks so much for the update. Like you said its an avenue to save up more. May God direct your path over there.

The morning I was to start the job, as early as 5am, dude replies and bombards me with calls and texts saying LEAVE NOW and telling me all sorts.

Ah! Leave bawo? Me that just packed load and moved about 40kms. How I wan take move? In my mind I said it's either it's not as bad as he's making it sound or if it's bad, I endure and work for two months, collect salary and japa. I was wrong

First day, after class, I saw half of what the guy warned me about.

Second day, same

I started dreading work, it wasn't funny. In my mind, I went from 2 months to 1 month but for where? Complain complain.

3 weeks later, I LEFT!

Thankfully, I still had my weekend job though far but again, thank God I have a motorbike!

The same day I stopped, I got my own apartment and with the 3 weeks salary and a little more, I paid 3 months rent and and deposit equivalent to 4 months rent!
.Thanks they didn't owe you. Some employers can be difficult to satisfy.

Humnmmm! Truth is bitter and unholy to the receiving entity (Applicants). Despite my connection and all the needed moves that I made, I was shocked to be informed by my link that " Sorry, the chance was so slim and I could not secure an appointment for you now. But I assure next time." I did interview, I followed up till date but still could not get it. I believe that is how Allah wants it.
So guys, prepare for an unknown. It is well !
That's my real position for now.
All is well.

Imagine, dis recruitment is survival of the fittest. "Next time", Hmmmm. It is well
