Politics / G5 Governors To Announce Preferred Presidential Candidate, Says Ortom, Wike by Tontimes(m): 8:33am On Jan 06, 2023
G5 Governors To Announce Preferred Presidential Candidate: Wike and Ortom spoke at the Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, during the launch of campaigns for Governor Seyi Makinde's reelection.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom, said on Thursday that their Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alliance known as the G5 or the Integrity Group remained united. G5 Governors!

The two governors also stated that the G5 United will soon announce its preferred presidential candidate for Nigeria's February 25 election.

Wike and Ortom spoke at the Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State's capital, during the launch of campaigns for Governor Seyi Makinde's reelection.

Makinde, Ortom, and Wike are members of the PDP G5, along with Abia's Okezie Ikpeazu and Enugu's Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Wike, Ortom, Ugwuanyi, and Ikpeazu took turns addressing the crowd of PDP supporters, urging them to vote for Makinde, whom they referred to as the "Youth Leader of the G5", for a second term in office.

Wike urged the crowd to vote for the PDP in the state governorship, House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senate elections.

"The other one, Seyi, will come to you," he said of the G5's presidential candidate selection.

G5 Governors: A U-Turn on Obi's Endorsement?

Terver Akase, Ortom's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said in a statement on Tuesday that the governor "strongly recommends Peter Obi to Nigerians" following former President Olusegun Obasanjo's endorsement of the Labour Party's presidential candidate.

However, Ortom dismissed "social media gossip" on Thursday, saying the G5 will inform Nigerians of its plans at the appropriate time.

"We want to assure you that the Integrity Group and the G5 governors are committed members of the PDP in our various states.

He further stated, "We have a challenge with the national leaders of our party because they have failed to deploy the internal resolution mechanism to solve the problems after the convention.

"We are committed to PDP in our various states and at the appropriate time, we are going to let you know where and what to do. "We are united, we are together; don't listen to social media gossip - we are committed to the PDP and all our candidates in our states," Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom said.

Taofeek Arapaja, the PDP's Deputy National Chairman in the South-West, and Bayo Ogungbenro, the party's Chairman in Oyo, were among those in attendance.

However, Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, and Iyorchia Ayu, the party's National Chairman, were conspicuously absent from the event on Thursday.

Politics / Presidential Election: Obi Leads Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso In Fresh Survey by Tontimes(m): 11:06pm On Jan 04, 2023
A new poll has shown that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s flagbearer in the upcoming presidential election, is ahead of Atiku and Tinubu.

According to a recent survey conducted by Market Trends International (MTI) on all presidential candidates in the 2023 election, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) is ahead of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), among others.
Presidential Election: Obi Wins Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso In Fresh Survey

According to the agency’s Executive Director, Victor Ebhomenye, the former Anambra State governor has the highest favorable rating to be the next president, with 44% of respondents indicating they will vote for the LP candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

According to the MTI boss, this has surprised Nigerians because the Labour Party and Peter Obi had no presence in the Nigerian presidential scene as of December 2021.

“Peter Obi has picked up pace in the race since he declared interest to run with the Labour Party as the party’s presidential candidate at its national convention and presidential primary in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, on Monday, 30th of May after other aspirants like former presidential adviser, Professor Pat Utomi; Faduri Joseph and Olubusola Emmanuel-Tella, stepped down.

“With Mr Obi’s emergence, the party may receive boosts to achieve lasting alliance talks with the New Nigeria Peoples Party- NNPP (this alliance is said to have collapsed at the moment); Zenith Labour Party (ZLP); Allied Peoples Movement (APM); National Rescue Movement (NRM); Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), and African Democratic Congress (ADC), among others before the February 2023 presidential race.

“The proposed alliance has prevented the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its main rival, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), from dominating the upcoming elections.

“The PDP was initially seen as the most popular party to win the 2023 presidential election as of December 2021, with 52% of respondents indicating PDP to win if elections were held in December 2021. When asked who they would vote for, 28% said they would vote for the PDP.

“However, findings show that 45% of respondents were undecided and did not know which party they would vote for in December 2021,” Mr Ebhomenye revealed.

He further asserted that “ever since the loss of the party’s presidential ticket in May 2022 and being overlooked as the running mate to the flagbearer, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, the executive Governor of Rivers State, Gov, Wike and four other PDP governors (popularly known as the G5 Governors) have constituted themselves into an opposition within the PDP.

“It is believed that these G5 governors (Seyi Makinde, Samuel Ortom, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ngwuanyi, and Nyesom Wike) quietly withdrew their support for Atiku Abubakar, which could explain the drastic drop in support for the PDP. This has also helped Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Peter Obi gain ground in the upcoming presidential election.

“When asked to advise the incoming president on challenges to tackle immediately he resumes office, Nigerians advised the incoming president to make Insecurity (46%), Collapsed Economy (20%), and Unemployment (18%) his top priority. Insecurity is a recurring problem in Nigeria that jeopardizes our well-being.

Business / How To Recover Your Money After You Transfer To Wrong Account Or To Fraudsters by Tontimes(m): 9:19pm On Dec 19, 2022
Have you ever made a bank transfer and immediately regretted it? This could be due to crediting the wrong account, being defrauded, or some other reason. It is important to note that this is not the same as a transaction in which you are debited but the beneficiary does not receive the funds. In that case, see How To Recover Your Money After a Wrong Transfer

We are all extremely cautious when it comes to money transfers. Most of us double-check everything before hitting the send button. However, we are only human, and mistakes do happen.

One digit here or there, and your hard-earned money is on its way to the wrong account. It is critical to maintaining your cool in such a situation. This may appear difficult, especially if large sums of money are involved. Many of us would become flustered and unsure of what to do next!

Keeping this in mind, the following article will cover all essential need-to-know information in the event of a money transfer to the wrong account details and assist you in dealing with the situation as effectively as possible.

How To Recover Your Money After a Mistaken Transfer

Earlier this year, Ugodre, the founder of Nairametrics, tweeted about sending money to an account number in Bank A (we won’t name the bank) only to have the money transferred to another customer with the same identical number in Bank B.

This was quite shocking because NUBAN account numbers issued by the CBN are meant to be unique to each customer, with no two customers having the same account number. However, as a result of the tweet, we now know that some customers have the same account numbers but are with different banks.

As a result, the banking apps may populate the wrong beneficiary and bank, and if you do not double-check before transferring, the money may be sent to the wrong beneficiary.

So, here’s how you can get your money back.

What leads to Wrong Transfers/Transactions?

They say prevention is better than cure! This is also true in the case of money transfers. After all, they do require a significant number of manual inputs, and even the slightest lapse in concentration can result in incorrect transactions.

As a result, it is critical to pay close attention when entering the recipient’s account number, IFSC Code, and so on. A simple check could save you from a significant loss.

The following example is a classic case of haste leading to waste. We are all preoccupied with our daily lives and do not have time to spare. This, in conjunction with the teeny-tiny alpha-numeric buttons on your smartphone or laptop, can result in money being transferred to the incorrect account number. Therefore, when transferring money, it is critical that you proceed calmly and methodically.

Finally, a faulty money transfer can be caused by a technical error. Computers, too, can make mistakes! However, the likelihood of this occurring is extremely low. And these errors usually resolve themselves immediately, with the money being credited back to your account either immediately or within a few working days.

Different types of money transfers to incorrect account information

Assume you enter some incorrect information during your transaction. There are two possible outcomes in this case. The first is that your transfer fails due to incorrect information, and no funds are deducted from your account. Phew! There was no harm done!

However, if the account details entered are incorrect but valid for the wrong person, the transfer may proceed and the money will be sent to the incorrect recipient. Wrong account money transfers, such as this one, can cause significant financial harm, especially if the transfer amount is large. This is a situation you should avoid at all costs.

How To Recover Your Money Back After You Transfer Money To the Wrong Person

How can I get my money back if I sent it to the wrong person? This is one of the questions we receive from many victims of fraud or people that wrongly transferred money to the wrong account. But, you don’t have to wrong as solutions have come your way.

When you realize you sent money to the wrong account, the first thing that comes to mind is how to get the money back. To begin the reversal process, you must first take some important steps. Recover Your Money After a Wrong Transfer!

The first step in reporting an incorrect money transfer is to notify the bank. You can accomplish this by quickly dialing the customer service number and providing them with all of the transaction’s details. You will be given a request or complaint number.

It’s exciting to visit all of these famous attractions, but before you book your trip, here are 30 things you should know about planning a trip to the United States to help you plan your dream vacation.

The United States of America (USA) is one of the world’s largest countries. This country spans a large portion of the North American continent, from sea to sea, from mountain peaks to ocean shores.

The country has a rich history that dates back well over 200 years, and the United States continues to lead the world into the future. They provide some of the most expensive and high-quality entertainment available anywhere in the world. A country of this size is a popular destination for international tourists.

More so, across the beautiful American landscape, there are numerous cities to visit, landmarks to see, and places to explore. This article will look at 15 aspects of the United States, ranging from important and useful information to amusing and interesting facts to remember.

Traveling to the United States is something that everyone should do at least once in their lives.

30 Important Things To Know Before Traveling To USA

So here we go: Things to know before visiting America.

1. Is a PCR Covid-19 still required for entry into the United States?

No, as of June 22, 2022, the United States eliminated the testing requirement for all visitors. Vaccination documentation is still required. (From travel.state.gov)

2. To enter the United States, you must have a tourist visa or an ESTA

Incoming visitors must be aware of and understand the requirements for entering the United States.

The US Visa Waiver Program, also known as the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), currently allows citizens of these 39 countries to enter the US without a visa for up to 90 days.

The majority of these countries are from the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, and a few others.

Know that your 90-day period begins the moment you set foot on US soil, including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories.

Those 90 days in the United States include time spent in Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, or Caribbean islands if they arrived via the United States.

The ESTA application is only required if arriving by air or cruise ship. It is not required if entering overland or on local ferries, such as those between Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and Washington State.

The ESTA is valid for a period of up to two years. You may visit the United States an unlimited number of times as long as each stay is no longer than 90 days.

More so, the ESTA is far less expensive than a traditional tourist visa, and filling out a simple application form takes only about 20 minutes. While you can apply for your ETSA at any time before boarding your flight, it is recommended that you do so at least 72 hours in advance.

Have your ESTA and approval number ready when you leave, as it will be requested during check-in.

If you want to stay in the US for more than 90 days, or if you don’t qualify for the ESTA program, you’ll need a visa.

Obtaining Other US Visas

If you want to stay in the US for a longer period of time, or if your citizenship is not covered by the ESTA program, you will need to look into other US tourist visas, primarily the B-2 Visa (tourist visa).

These visas are typically much more expensive than the ESTA (around $160-$180 for many countries), but the process is a bit more complicated, and there is no single list of requirements because they vary depending on your citizenship.

There are three types of visas available: a Tourist Visa (also known as a Visitor Visa, which is the easiest to obtain), a Temporary Visa, and an Immigration Visa (the hardest one to acquire).

Check to see if your country is part of the Visa Waiver Program, which allows citizens to visit the United States without a visa for business or tourism. Travelers from these countries must apply for an ESTA Visa, or Electronic System for Travel Authorization.

This operates more like a permit than a visa. You will be able to enter the country if you have an ESTA.

We recommend using iVisa to get the most accurate information, understand your visa requirements, and expedite your application.

You can also check the requirements on the website of your country’s US embassy or by visiting such an embassy or consulate. (For example, if you’re Moroccan, go to the US embassy in Rabat.)

3. Transportation

The United States is massive, with 50 states. Flying is the most convenient way to reach long-distance destinations within the country. It is also the most efficient, convenient, and cost-effective mode of transportation when traveling between regions.

Furthermore, America is well-known for its car culture, with 95% of Americans owning a personal automobile. Cars have remained the most popular mode of transportation since the 1950s and 1960s, and they are deeply ingrained in the nation’s lifestyle and popular culture.

Because of their convenience, Uber and Lyft have begun to replace traditional taxis and public transportation in urban areas.

4. Check the Validity of Your Passport

To enter the United States, your passport must be valid for at least six months at the time of travel. This means that if your passport expires in less than six months, you will be unable to travel to the United States.

You should also ensure that your passport is valid for the duration of your trip.

5. Accommodations

It is best to book a hotel room in advance to avoid any last-minute problems. Keep in mind that hotel rooms are priced per room, not per person. So, if you’re traveling with a group, ask about group discounts. These are available for both low-cost motels and luxury hotels.

6. Understand The United States’ Tipping Culture

In the United States, you are expected to tip for all types of services, including cab drivers, deliveries, valet, porters, room service, and, most notably, waiters and bartenders. (Most of them earn less than the federal minimum wage, which is already far too low!)

The typical tipping range is 15% to 20%.

While tipping is customary, it is not required. As a general rule, if the service was adequate (nothing outstanding), I give 15%.

If it was exceptional, I’ll give you 20% off. On the other hand, if the service was terrible, I give 10% or less, depending on how bad the service was.
Other common hospitality industry tip suggestions include:

Concierge: dependent on the difficulty of your request
Housekeepers: $1-5 per night
Bartenders: $1-2 per drink
Hotel porters: $1-2 per bag
Valets: $1-5 each time the valet brings your car
Doormen: a few dollars if they help you get a cab
Taxi drivers: 10-15%
Shared shuttle drivers: $2-3 per person
Food delivery: $1-$4 depending on the distance from the restaurant to your accommodation

Finally, always check your restaurant bill before tipping, as some restaurants include the tip in the total of your bill. Likewise, some other services already include a “service charge,” which is a tip.

7. Sales Tax – Things To Know Before Traveling To USA

Expect to spend more than your initial budget because almost everything in the United States is subject to sales tax. Depending on the city or state, this tax can add five to ten percent to the purchase price. Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon are the only states that do not have sales taxes.

8. The United States of America is Much Larger Than You Think

With a total land area of 9.83 million square kilometers (including territories), the United States has such a diverse landscape and culture that it almost feels like each of the 50 states is a country in its own right.

Not to mention the diverse geography and cultures that Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other territories offer.

In fact, many states are larger than some European countries when compared. The country is divided into three distinct regions by two North-South features.

The Pacific states are located west of the Rocky Mountains and are known for their long stretches of beach along the California coast, stunning deserts such as the Grand Canyon, and year-round temperate weather.

The vast plains stretching from Mexico to Canada are sandwiched between the Rockies and the Mississippi River, making the United States one of the world’s most fertile growing regions.

Last but not least, we have the east of the Mississippi, which is the country’s industrial and economic center. Several major cities, including New York, Boston, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Miami.

The Appalachian Mountains, which are not only one of the most diverse ecological regions in the country but also played an important role in US history, from settlement to westward expansion, are also found here.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in the United States, is located in the Appalachians.

That brings us to…

9. Don’t Forget to Visit at Least One National Park

Although the United States is well known for its bustling cities, its National Parks provide a healthy balance of nature and outstanding landscapes.

In fact, the United States established the world’s first National Park. Theodore Roosevelt established Yellowstone National Park in 1872, ushering in a natural conservation practice that would spread throughout the world.

With 62 national parks, the United States has amassed an impressive collection of landscapes, flora, fauna, and outdoor experiences.

Get away from the city and immerse yourself in nature by camping in the dense forest, marveling at the sky-scraping snowcapped mountains, exploring hidden red desert canyons, and hiking past lush valleys and pristine lakes.

When planning your trip, look into which national parks are in or near the states you’ll be visiting. They are, without a doubt, worth seeing!

10. You Must Be At Least 25 Years Old To Rent A Car In The United States

Most rental companies will require it! Some will allow you to rent a car, but you will have to pay an additional fee! Depending on the location and company, this surcharge fee will range between $25 and $30.

Business / Steps On How To Open A Bank Account In USA As A Non-resident: Practical Guide by Tontimes(m): 1:32am On Nov 26, 2022
How to open a bank account in USA As a non-resident: Do you want to open a bank account in the United States?

Banking in the USA is not as simple as it once was. The Patriot Act was enacted in the United States to prevent the use of the financial system for criminal purposes. Despite its far-reaching consequences, one of the most significant changes it brought was increased verification requirements.

Open a Bank Account in the USA As a Non-Resident

Whether you plan to move to America or simply want a bank account in US dollars, opening a US bank account online as a non-resident is likely to be a difficult process filled with varying requirements and lengthy bureaucratic procedures.

However, while it can be difficult, it is not impossible. In this guide, we will look at the main options you have for opening a non-resident US bank account, regardless of your personal needs and preferences!

In short, many non-residents find it difficult to open a bank account in the United States for one simple reason: most US banks require you to be an American citizen or resident in order to approve your application.

You might be wondering, "Can a non-citizen open a bank account in the United States?"

Yes, you can. Non-citizens may find the process complicated, but it is not impossible. Setting up a US bank account will be worthwhile whether for business, travel, or personal reasons.

Banking in the United States has numerous benefits. For starters, you can avoid exorbitant bank and card fees when spending money in the country. Even if you are not a resident, you can have deposits of up to $250,000 insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Continue reading to learn how to open a bank account in the United States.

How to Open a Bank Account in USA As a Non-Resident

In short, many non-residents find it difficult to open a bank account in the USA for one simple reason: most US banks require you to be an American citizen or resident in order to approve your application.

This usually entails submitting a Social Security Number (SSN), an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), and proof of address in the United States (although these details vary from bank to bank). You'll also need to bring an identity document, such as a passport, driver's license, government-issued photo ID, or, if applicable, immigration documents.

Overall, there are four main ways for non-residents to open a US bank account, and the best one for you will depend heavily on your needs and preferences. These are the pathways:

#1. Big banks in the US

This path usually necessitates residence in the United States (though it does not have to be your primary residence) and requires you to travel to the United States to visit a bank branch and open an account in person. You'll need specific documentation, so call ahead to check the requirements before you go, as they can vary from bank to bank.

#2. International US Banks

This route does not necessitate US residency or local documentation, but it usually comes with a large initial deposit, high fees, and minimum balance requirements.

#3. Online Accounts

You will not need an SSN/ITIN to open an account here, but you will need to be a US resident. It's the best option for US residents who want low-cost, digital banking services but don't mind having a little less banking coverage.

#4. Wise Account

This is the simplest and cheapest way for a non-resident to open a bank account online in the United States, and it is ideal for those who want to open an American bank account online from abroad (as its checking accounts are held by CFSB and EVOLVE).

Documents Needed To Open a US Bank Account

In addition to a completed application form, the following documents are frequently requested by US banks:

Proof of identity: A valid government-issued identification document, such as an ID card, passport, or driver's license, can be used as proof of identity.
Social service number: This is typically a Social Security Number (SSN) or a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) (ITIN).
Proof of address: Utility bills, bank or credit card statements, lease agreements, or mortgage statements that list the address of a US residence are usually sufficient proof of address.
Immigration documents

While many US banks will require you to have both an SSN or ITIN and proof of address in order to open an account, the exact documents required to open an account vary significantly from state to state and branch to branch.

You must apply for an SSN/ITIN through the IRS's website. To obtain temporary proof of address, however, ask your bank if they will accept a letter from your university, employer, or prospective landlord stating your place of residence.

It's also worth noting that most US banks will require an initial deposit as well. This amount (usually between $25 and $150 or more) can be transferred into your new account via debit card, cash, or ACH transfer.

How To Open an Account With a USA Bank

To open an account with a US bank follow the steps below:

Gather Your Documents: First and foremost, you must organize your documents. As previously stated, in order to open an account with a major bank in the United States, you will typically require:
Proof of identity
Proof of address
SSN/ITIN (This is not always necessary)
Make an Appointment: The next step is to schedule an appointment to open a checking account. Some banks let you do this online, but it's usually best to call.
Open Your Account: You will be able to discuss your banking needs at the appointment. Your eligibility will be verified, and an account will be created for you.
Types of US Bank Accounts

The majority of bank accounts in the United States are either 'checking' or 'savings' accounts. Checking accounts function similarly to current accounts in other countries and offer services such as:

Internet banking;
Direct debits;
Bills and other payments;
ACH and wire transfers;
A debit card;
ACH and wire transfers;
ATM withdrawals.

Investment / Easiest Ways To Open A Bank Account Online Free – See What You Need by Tontimes(m): 10:41am On Nov 24, 2022
Are you looking for the easiest ways to open a bank account online? Here is how to open a bank account online in 4 steps. Prepare your contact information and proof of identity, and be ready to fund your new account.

Opening an online bank account can be simple and quick. It may only take a few minutes and save you a trip to the bank. And it may be your only option if you’re opening an account with an online bank. Top online banks are FDIC-insured, offer higher interest rates than traditional brick-and-mortar banks, and frequently charge low or no fees.

Easiest Ways to Open a Bank Account Online

In a few simple steps, here’s how to open a bank account online:

Choose the account type you want.
Gather your personal documents and information ahead of time.
Fill out the application form with your personal information.
Fund your new account.

#1. Choose the account type you want

Before you begin the application, you must make two critical decisions:

Checking, Savings, or others? Determine the primary purpose of this new account. If you require funds to cover regular expenses, consider opening a checking account and ensuring that it does not charge excessive fees (or that you can get them waived). If the money is going to be saved, make sure the account has a reasonable interest rate. Consider how you intend to use this new account before weighing your options.
Single or Joint Account? You are the sole owner of a single account. A joint account is one that you share with someone else, usually a family member or significant other.

Compare the terms and features of the various savings and checking accounts offered by the financial institution.

Also, ensure that the account is FDIC insured, which means that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. will protect your money if the bank fails.

Search for your bank on the FDIC’s BankFind tool to see if your deposits are federally insured. On the bank’s website, look for the FDIC insurance logo. (To see how the official logo should look, go to the FDIC website.)

Credit union accounts are similarly protected by the National Credit Union Administration, a separate government agency. To find out if a credit union is insured, use the NCUA’s credit union locator.

#2. Gather Your Personal Documents and Information Ahead of Time

Here’s what you’ll need to open an online bank account. This information will also be required for anyone who will be a joint account owner.

Social Security number or, for noncitizens, another form of identification
A valid driver’s license or other government-issued identification is required.
If you need to make an initial deposit into your new account, you’ll also need debit card information or the routing and account numbers for another bank account you own. These numbers can be found on a check or by logging into your existing account’s online dashboard.

#3. Fill out the Application With Your Personal Information

To open a bank account online, you must provide some personal information. Fill out the application with your personal information, which will most likely include:

Information from the items you previously gathered, such as your Social Security number, ID, and debit card or bank account information.

Name.

Date of birth.

Address.

Contact information.

While you can send this information online in most cases, you may be asked to fax or email additional documents, such as a copy of your driver’s license, to help verify your identity. If you have a history of checking account issues or a limited work or credit history, for example, some banks may require you to come into a branch to provide these documents.

You may also be required to sign and mail in a signature card or form in order for your bank to verify your signature or to agree to receive statements and other messages online. If you are not a legal adult, you will also need the information of a parent co-signer, and you may need to visit a branch to complete your application.

4. Fund Your Online Bank Account

You must make an initial deposit when you open an account online. This usually entails transferring funds from an existing account. If your bank is entirely online, you may be able to fund with a check or money order as well. You can also visit a local branch of your bank to deposit cash.

Once you’ve entered the transfer information, select an amount that meets any minimum balance or starting deposit requirements. The funds are usually processed within a few days, after which you can begin managing your new account.

Business / Easy Ways To Get Small Business Loan Without Collateral by Tontimes(m): 9:45am On Nov 22, 2022
How to Get Small Business Loan For Startups without collateral: When you need a small-business loan, whether to fund your next stage of growth or to keep your company afloat during an unexpected crisis, one thing to consider is whether you'll be required to provide collateral.

Collateral serves as security for the lender in the event that you fail to repay the loan for any reason. If your company lacks assets that could be pledged as collateral, obtaining a no-collateral business loan may be your top priority.

Fortunately, there are business loans available that do not require collateral as a condition for approval. Before applying for one of these loans, do your homework so you know what to expect.

Get Small Business Loan

Despite the enduring romance of the rags-to-riches success story, many entrepreneurs receive some assistance in building their startups.

Ambition and grit are essential, but these entrepreneurial characteristics do not guarantee the immediate cash flow that a business may require. What you should think about is some crucial initial financing for new businesses: business loans.

Business loans are one of the most common types of financing available to entrepreneurs looking to start a business or support existing operations. However, deciding whether to apply for a business loan is a major decision for any business owner and should not be taken lightly.

This post will look at the many factors that go into deciding whether applying for a business loan is right for you and your company, as well as walk you through the loan application process.

How to Get Small Business Loan

Below are the steps to follow in order to get a small business loan without collateral for startups:

#1. Calculate How Much You Need

Before applying for a business loan, use a loan calculator to determine how much funding you require. To answer this, you must first determine why you require a business loan.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York discovered three primary reasons why US businesses take out loans:

Business expansion (64%)
Loan refinancing (45%)
Operating expenses (45%)

Travel / Switzerland Visa Requirements And Application Procedures by Tontimes(m): 10:50am On Nov 18, 2022
Do you want to travel to Switzerland? Do you know the Switzerland visa requirements and application procedures? If you want to travel to Switzerland, here are the things you need to know before traveling.

Switzerland, located in western, central, and southern Europe, is one of the world’s most developed countries. It is officially known as the Swiss Confederation and ranks first in the world in several national performance metrics.

The country covers 41,285 km2 and has a population of 8,508,898 people. It lacks an official capital, but the city of Bern serves as its de jure capital. Its two most populous cities, Zürich and Geneva, are global cities and economic powerhouses.

Although Switzerland is a founding member of the European Free Trade Association, it is not a member of the European Union. It joined the Schengen Area in 2008, and since then, international visitors with a Schengen visa have been able to enter its territory.

Switzerland Entry Visa Requirements

Because of the Schengen Zone’s common travel area, in which member states have abolished borders for their citizens, if you are an EU/EEA national, you will only need an identification document to enter Switzerland.

However, if you are a non-EU/EEA traveler and wish to visit Switzerland, you must present the following documents when you arrive at the Swiss port of entry:

A passport or travel document. Valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from Schengen, and issued within the last ten years.

Travel / How To Extend Schengen Visa by Tontimes(m): 9:17am On Nov 18, 2022
Are you in Europe? Are you worried about how to extend your visa when it expires? Help has come your way, so, you don’t have to panic. Here are simple steps on how to extend a Schengen visa in Europe.

One of the main concerns that visitors to Europe have when their Schengen visa expires is whether or not they can extend their stay in Europe.

"The world is not enough” is not only the title of a James Bond film, but it is also something that the holder of a short-stay Schengen Visa may feel at times. When their application for a Schengen Visa is approved, they realize that the validity period of their visa is no longer sufficient. They want to stay longer out of desire or necessity.
Can I Renew/Extend my Schengen visa?

Except in exceptional circumstances, you cannot extend your Schengen Visa during your trip. If you wish to extend your stay, you must leave the Schengen Area and apply for a new visa in order to return and continue your visit.

However, applying for a Schengen Visa extension is only possible in exceptional circumstances. Here is our guide to the reasons considered by authorities and the relevant procedures.

How to Extend a Schengen Visa: An Overview

Whether you are a traveler who wants to see more of Europe, a business person who has some unforeseen business to do after their visa expires, or a patient seeking medical treatment in one or more Schengen Zone member states who needs to continue their medical treatment, you will not be allowed to stay in Europe after your Schengen visa expires unless you extend it.
