Seems like you didn't understand me.. I'm not saying I want to take on Ausbildung while doing Studium.. I'm asking if I can switch from doing uni to full time Ausbildung... I've gotten answers already anyways thanks
HighPriest0:

Ausbildung is a full time occupation and as student you can't work full time because your student work permit doesn't allow that. to do Ausbildung, you finish your studies, get your 18 months job search permit. with it you can do the Ausbildung.

Good day house pls I have a question... assuming I travel to Germany on a study visa and then like 4 or 6 months after I get there I decide to switch to Ausbildung, is it possible to do that without having to come back to Nigeria to apply for Ausbildung again?...your answers are much appreciated in advance.

Good evening, everyone.

I'm going the studienkolleg route and booked my appointment June of last year and according to what was on their site at the time, I'm supposed to have already gotten the appointment date but I wrote to them and they told me the waiting time increased, I'm also seeing a lot of people here who got their appointment dates almost a year and a half later but that's by the way. On a previous version of this forum, someone wrote that if you sent the proof of your admission, the blocked account details and your passport data page, an appointment date would be given to you, does that still work? And if not, does anyone know if it's possible to defer the Aufnahmeprüfung at the institution or do I have to reapply for Sommer semester?

Good evening house...i have a question pls.
Can a resident of Nigeria/Nigerian apply for student visa through German embassy at Ghana without having a Ghana residence permit at first?...

Cause i was thinking of applying then making a residence permit before the appointment date.
Can it work that way or do i need to make a residence permit before applying?
(I know for now that their portals are closed for application under cat B)but still someone should answer pls

Thanks in advance
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Toonerdyy: 9:20am On Jan 28, 2023
Thank you for your response
MrAAA2:

If you have an appointment at the embassy and have the documents, you will be allowed in for your interview.
But don't go there sounding confused and unclear. You will write a motivation letter, let that guide you.
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Toonerdyy: 8:42am On Jan 28, 2023
Good Day house...pls i have a question
I applied for Bachelors under category B but my intention originally was going for studienkolleg but now i plan on going for a language training(German B2) before going into studienkolleg(i have German B1 Goethe certificate already)...
I don't know if I'm going to be allowed into the visa section

Or still if i decide to go for studienkolleg am i still going to be allowed into the visa section?
(Studienkolleg,BSC, language training are all in the same section B)
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Toonerdyy: 10:30pm On Jan 01, 2023

Both but i think it's over 1 year for persons who applied for Ausbildung while a year for persons who applied for bsc..either ways I'm not sure and i don't know..me sef de wait
goldsmiths:
The new Visa waiting Time for Cat.B is over a year or one year?! Is there anyone who has gotten an interview before the one year waiting period?

Ok na...go to the embassy and tell them this onelmao
KomGhale:

This is not correct... if your programme will be taught in English, you do not need German language certificate before you will be granted a visa
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Toonerdyy: 12:38am On Oct 19, 2022
It doesn't matter..German language certificate is compulsory for people who intend to school there or even do family reunion... without it i don't think your visa is going to be approved Sha..but try your luck..if e no work..wait another 1 year lol
EpicOracle:

But na English course I wan do nau
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Toonerdyy: 9:01pm On Oct 18, 2022
Best advice is learning up to B1 or B2 even, cause no public university will accept A1 or A2...be patient and learn..e get why
EpicOracle:
Hi guys,

So I will be rounding up my A1 next month and would like to enrol for winter 2023, however my relative is advising me to study up to B1 as I'll get more opportunities than having just A1.

Doing B1 will make me move my plans to summer 2023.

Please advise
