Well in my opinion.. I think Nigerian Bloggers don't really care about SEO and the blog Niche of most Nigerian bloggers is more of Entertainment and celeb gossip...and Less of more professional-well paying SEO Niche's.

Business / Top 6 Online Marketing Tips To Boost Your Local Business In Nigeria by topblogger12(f): 4:11pm On Aug 06, 2015
Source : http://www.nairaonline.com.ng/top-6-online-marketing-tips-to-boost-your-business-in-nigeria/

For business owners in Nigeria who have taken their business online, online marketing is essential to drive traffic sales to your Local business here in Nigeria. Below are 6 tips in online marketing that will boost your online sales.

#1,... Make sure your website is responsive

There are MILLIONS of Nigerians online daily with over 67 million internet users last year.. having a website for your business is great but if it isn't responsive, then you are losing a lot of customers. A website that is responsive is one that looks good both on a computer and mobile devices. This is essential because a great chunk of Nigerian Internet users asscess the Web thru their their mobile devices ( phones, tablets, ..etc)

#2,... List your business on Local Online Directories.

We have tons of online Directories in Nigeria....listing your business of these online directories improves your website SEO ( search engine optimization) and also directs potential sales to your business.

#3,... Be active on Social Media- But only with a purpose.

Last year january alone, over 11 million Nigerians were active on Facebook (socialmediaweek.org). Nigerians love the social media!!!! and utilizing this tool can boost your online sales. But if misused, it becomes a sheer waste of time. To really utilize social media marketing, you should employ the services of a social media marketing expert.

#4. Build an Email List---

This point is essential because Majority of Nigerians read through their email box everyday. Building an email list that includes the addresses of your customers and potential customers, you can send them updates, Promo news and other news, directly to their email address.

#5. Use SMS marketing:

As it was with email marketing, SMS is a powerful online marketing tool that has a way lower Open rate than Email marketing.

Open rate is a measurement in percentage , that determines the number of sent emails that is opened by recipients in an Email or SMS marketing campaign.

#6. Use paid advertising..

Paid advertising is a very POWERFUL tool to drive sales to local business.... how it works is that you adverts are placed on High traffic websites and are shown (your ads) to thousands and sometimes millions of your target market.

Although Facebook and Google adwords are popular and great to use Paid advertising services, I always run my clients ad campaign on High traffic Nigerian based websites....why?

For example Nigeria's biggest online platform, Nairaland has over 1 million active members and posting your adverts on Nairaland will drive more targeted traffic sales to your website than Google adwords can.

Do you have other Tips? I'd like your comments ...

Hello Friends, we all have accounts on facebook, twitter, instagram and the others..but these social media giants push adsin front of us, and make their billions off our content.....for every selfie, comment, like , share , tweet....name it...they get all the money.

But what if you were on a social media that paid you for all of that? just by been social? The network is called TSU (pronounced SUE ) according to wikipedia, : " The inspiration for Tsu came from the story of Ed O’Bannon, the lead plaintiff in O’Bannon v. NCAA, an antitrust class action lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletic Association regarding the association’s use of the images of former student athletes for commercial purposes."

The network pays their members 90% of their ad revenue........

To register (free), you have to be invited.........

It just makes more sense. If you’re going to be active on a social network, be active on the one that pays you to do so.

Family / The Issue Of Online Harassment In Nigeria--- by topblogger12(f): 4:53pm On Aug 01, 2015
The internet has grown exponentially in Nigeria....from 78,740 internet users in the year 2000 to 67,101,45 users by the year 2014 ( source: Internet Live Stats ), we have a majority of Nigerians who practically live their lives online.

But in as much as we Post on Facebook, tweet on twitter, rant on Nairaland etc.... there is an aspect of the internet that is rearing its head in the Nigerian Online world.

Online harassment.....well this isn't the regular online argument rant we have on the social media...... we are talking about online threats and bullying that lead to the victims fear for their lives and safety.

They have been cases and experiences of people who have bullied and even received death threats online. maybe because they are from a particular tribe.... a supporter of a particular political party of a gender (statistics around the world have shown women are the most victims from online harassment).......

CAN THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENTS HELP?

During the build up to this write-up, i went to a police station in Abuja and an Officer that someone on TWITTER threatened to come to my house and beat me up for supporting a Political party........
and the first question he asked me was, : "what is TWITTER?" Like seriously? !! i had to cool my heels and made no further complaint.....

How can our Law enforcement agents fight Online harassment when they have no Idea how it works...........

I'd like your comments on this issue.......

Romance / Top 4 Truths About Fake Orgasms by topblogger12(f): 8:50pm On Jul 31, 2015
Hey guys ama cut through the chase an go straight to the 5 truths about fake orgasms....feel free to add yours.........

1. Most people have faked an Orgasm at least once.

Hold and admitt it...most people (maybe even you) have faked an orgasm at one point or the other...

2. Most people fake orgasms because they’d just like the sex to be over with already.

Sometimes, most people aren't just "in the mood" and they fake "it' just to get done and over with....

3. And a particularly crafty number of people ( Guys ?) have faked the actual ejaculation.

i am still trying to understand how this is even possible.....can a guy fake an ejaculation?

4. No one comes every single time — and some people very rarely orgasm during sex at all

No sweats ok,....not eveyone cums during sex....(prove me wrong)

Feel free to add yours....i'd love comments!!!!

Health / Goodnews!! Ebola Vaccine Trial Shows Impressive Results by topblogger12(f): 6:02pm On Jul 31, 2015
source : http://nairaonline.com.ng/ebola-vaccine-trial-shows-extremely-promising-results/

The Ebola vaccine known as VSV-EBOV has today after trial shown extremely positive results , in a press release, the WHO said that the vaccine has so far demonstrated “100% efficacy in individuals”, although there will be further research done to determine if it will be effective at conferring the herd immunity that keeps whole populations safe from infections, even among populations of whom are not vaccinated.

It is also said that trials will continue but without randomization.... according to nairaonline, com.ng , "this means that in Guinea, where there have been 3,786 cases and 2,520 confirmed deaths, every contact of a person who develops Ebola – and their contacts – will be offered it. Work in Gabon has now established that the vaccine is safe for children and adolescents, so they will be offered it too."

Roviarsguide:
Hello friends and fellow webmasters, today i am presenting a concept to you guys...a concept that would earn you some extra cash online.....

We all know that social networks and Facebook..twitter and others make money from OUR content....for each post...each picture...each selfie...each video...these guys make billions of dollars....last year, facebook made a whopping $3.6 billion!! Its no joke....

What if you find a social media network that actually pays you for your content........and the people you refer to the network?

I did my research and it's no pyramid scheme.....its unlike those so-called pay for referral schemes...... the website is TSU dot CO(tsu.co)

Big name sites like MacWorld, ZDNet and ABCNews have had favorable write-ups about it. It also has a Wikipedia page. It started in September of 2014 and reached 1 million users in 5 weeks (it took Facebook 10 months to reach that number). Now, less than one year later, it has more than 5 million members.

And that includes famous members like New York Knicks basketball star Carmelo Anthony, rapper 50 Cent, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and more!!

This is how TSU.CO works....

the network understands that what makes them money is ad revenue. The more people interacting on their site and seeing the ads and clicking through, the more money they make. (Facebook is well aware of this, too, they just don't pay you anything for making them billions of dollars even though you're helping them do it.)

So to encourage you to do all of your social networking on Tsu instead of Facebook or the other networks, they decided to share that revenue with their members.

Now the upside is that you can only register through someone....that is you must have been referred by someone.....and the chain continues as you refer others and they refer others too.....how cool can this be?

Here is the link to my TSU.CO page (i got registered yesterday too, i was referred by a fellow internet marketer......)

http://www.tsu.co/Roviar

I would like you guys to do your own research on this network before making any leap....i did my own backgroud check and o thought to share it with you guys......

Goodmorning.

That's good to know...lemme check out and do a little research on my own.......before i register...

Health / Top 7 Exercises You Can Do While At Work by topblogger12(f): 10:55am On Jun 16, 2015
source: http://lossweight-faster..com/2015/06/product-review-fastest-way-to-lose.html

If you're so busy at work that you don't time to visit the gym regularly or if it's because of the kids or just life in General, You need to learn simple exercises you can do at work... Through thorough research and personal experience, i have put together top 7 simple exercises you do at work. With these simple exercises practiced daily, you won't have the need to visit the gym!!

7 simple exercises to do at work:

1. Instead of using a desk chair, sit on a large exercise ball:

The balance required for sitting on the ball is a great core stabilizer. You’ll be toning and strengthening your ab muscles without even realizing you’re doing it. It takes very little to no concentration, which can leave your brain power for your work.

2.Flex your abdominal muscles:

Move the edge of your seat and lean back on the backrest. Then lift your legs straightened a few centimeters above the ground and climb back a few centimeters of the backrest. Feel work your abdominal muscles and hold for ten seconds. Eight sets of ten seconds each can strengthen your core considerably when done regularly.

3. Ankle Rotations:

Rotate your ankles in both directions for five seconds. Do five sets of eight repetitions in each direction. This exercise can strengthen the flexibility of your ankles and make you less likely to suffer sprains.

4. Leave the elevator behind and take the stairs:

Even if you’re on the 14th floor, walk up two to three flights and then catch the elevator the rest of the way. Doing just this one thing alone gets your heart pumping, and releases endorphins. It provides a great start to the day which both your body and brain will thank you.

5. Change your Parking Spot:

You may not think that your parking spot has anything to do with your fitness level, but parking further away can actually provide a mini cardio-session. Make sure to leave extra time so you aren't late, and park in the furthest parking spot you can find. Strap on those ankle weights and either walk, run, or march up to the building. Don’t worry about how you will look doing it because the body you’ll gain from it will look and make you feel even better.

6. Stretch Your arms:

Just because you're sitting at your desk does not mean your arms can do anything they want. Many arm exercises can be done while sitting at your desk. Stretch the muscles of your right arm to get as left as you can with your right hand while supporting on the inside of the left elbow and then hold it there. Feel the stretch for five seconds. Do eight repetitions before switching to your left arm.

7. The Press Technique:

For a steel back, tighten your buttocks and hold for ten seconds. Do five sets of eight repetitions. The beauty of this exercise is that your supervisors and co-workers will not see any movement and will not even know that you are secretly exercising at work.

Finding time to work out and keeping fit can be challenging, but implementing just a few simple things throughout your work day can really make a difference.

Do you have other suggestions? I would love to here from you!! Drop Your comments below.
