Religion / Re: Are You A Christian If You Don't Believe Every Bible Story? by topten: 3:14pm On May 16, 2007
The bible is not the judgment. A Christian is not supposed to believe every word in the bible. Jesus died long before the bible was written. You are saved by the blood not by the book.

Read this articles "Five things a Christian must know" at:

http://oxcheck.net/sa/1.html

Read the bible but don't believe everything.
Crime / Re: How To Do Yahoo Business? by topten: 3:08pm On May 16, 2007
Let's help this guy. Listen, go to the cafe, look out for the sharp guys with powerful phones. Then tell than you will like to "work".

They will put you through. But it will take time to learn as they will teach you stage by stage. It is more like any other training.

At the end of the day, if you make much money, you might remain a scammist for long. If you don't make any money, you will still have material for your research.

Watch out for cops and EFCC arrest. Although it is not bad if you get jailed, afterall it is part of the reseach.

Good luck.

Business / Re: Zenith Bank Websurfer Mastercard: How Reliable? by topten: 9:55am On May 14, 2007
Zenith Bank Websurfer Mastercard is not that reliable because most merchants (especailly those with third party payment processors like clickbank.com and paypal.com) don't accept it. The issues are:

# Nigerian IP address are flaged for scam or spam
# Nigerian address is also flaged, and if you use a U.S or U.K address, it won't match with your ISP provider link
# Zenith Bank cannot back up the purchase since it is debit card not credit card

Even though you use software to manipulate the ISP link, they will detect it. For a credit card to work, it's owner address must match the ISP, the bank details, etc

The solution to online payments for Nigerians is to ask a friend or relative abroad to help you out with your purchase. Or use the service of businesses who can use their contact abroad to make the payment. They will charge commission. You can use www.oxcheck.net they make payments by credit card, cheques, paypal, Nairapro, egold, money orders, etc.

Over the years I have had expereince with credit card. I bought my first credit card in 1999. I loaded it from the U.S, and it carried my name but a New York address and phone no. I made some payments but the big processors like paypal.com were denying it. So any time I want to make online purchase, i will spend days looking for a site that will accept me.

Now I noticed that most site are moving to third party services for security reasons. I dump that card with about $60 left inside.

Getting a proccesor to accept payment on your site is the same as paying. My first payment processor cancelled my account one week after they noticed I was operating from naija. I tried more and kept getting problems before God link me to a new site. They operate from German, and so far I've gotten two cheques.

Taking advantage of Internet is limited to Nigerian becuase of our government and 419.
Romance / Re: My Ex-fiancee Has Siezed All My Certificates by topten: 5:16pm On May 13, 2007
My friend, pay her the money. You want to eat your cake and still have it.

Men like you are very Nigerian. This is a country where women are used and dumped without compensation. You will see a man marry a woman for ten years, and while he is working and looking for money, she stays at home giving birth to children and taking care of them. Then when the man is rich, he looks for a younger sexy woman and marry, and drives the former one away with compensation. His excuse "I worked for the money".

But in the U.K and U.S, you have to share properties acquired during marriage irrespective of who made it.

Your promise to this girl that you will marry her has made her forgo some things--both material or whatever. So for you to just change your mind, you should pay her for damages.
Politics / How To Stop 419? by topten: 4:04am On Apr 21, 2007
I and some friends are trying to setup a campaign to stop 419.

Since we use the internet often, we are fed up with these scammers in our midst doing serious damage to our person and country.

Today, when you mention Nigeria, the world sees you like a thief. No body trusts us. 419ers have done a lot of damage to this county. Yet we’ve don’t nothing about it. Read an article: Evil things Nigerians do online at:

http://www.oxcheck.net/4.html

Please suggest ways to stop 419. What do you think can be done to stop the menace? What can be done online or offline? Should it be left to government alone? Are the banks responsible? Can cyber cafés do something? Can the ordinary Nigerian at home or aboard do something?
Business / 800 Online Businesses You Can Start Today by topten: 2:35pm On Apr 19, 2007
Don't waste your time chatting and browsing online, setup an online business and earn money. You can start a dating site, a chat site, a forum or blog, an online church, an ebook site, an online university, a video site, an online law firm, an online stock broker, or a consultant- they are 800 to choose from.

How to start:

1) You have to pick a product to sell. This is also your business theme. You have to pick what you have passion for. For example, if you like books, then start an ebook site. Don't go and start what you cannot complete.

2) Create a product that you will sell. Be it downloadable like ebook, music or videos. Or physical products like clothes and jewels. Delivery of these products is either downloadable or through speed post.

3) Sign up for an affiliate program. This could also be a product itself, or a supplement to your existing netbiz. Incidentally, there are affiliates programs for every product.

4) Build your site. It is simple. To have a good site, you will need to combine or know how to write html or use html editors like FrontPage or Dreamweaver, and a graphic package. Although you can pay for it to be done, it is better to know it so that you can update, edit, and troubleshoot your site- things that you must continue to do as a webmaster.

5) Host your site. They are army of host site online.

6) Have a payment processor. That is, accept credit card from your website. Most processors don't accept Nigerians and a few that do charge fees.

7) And finally advertise online. Use viral buzz, it is free and fast.

It is very easy to start and run an online business. But three things will give you success: spend money, invest the time, and learn from your mistakes.

There are a billion internet users today. Online retail sales totaled $87.5 billion in 2004, up 25 percent from $70 billion in 2003 and up 62 percent from $54 billion in 2002, according to Internet Retailer estimates. Think of how to make $2000 to $6000 every month from your website.

If you're serious about making real money online, you can see a list of 800 online businesses and web design tutorials at:

Politics / Re: Adams Oshiomole Arrested In Benin by topten: 12:35pm On Apr 17, 2007
Pat and Adams cannot make it in Nigerian politics. They should just go to other things: Adams a unionist and Pat a businessman. Read Pat news:
