The cooler airline design is the Kenya Airways, its iconic. The colours really compliement each other and the bright red constrasts well with the white. You would instantly recongize it was the Kenyan airline when you see it up in the sky.

Religion in its entirety is stupid.

I also grew up in a Christian household and was taught to believe that the Christian God was the only true God but after doing some reading of my own at the age of 16 I broke out of the brainwashing. My progress originally went from Christian to deist to a fully fledged atheist.

The fact that god will send an individual to suffer for eternity in fires of hell for not believing his nonsense and demands worship 7 days a week not only sounds like an incredibly insecure deity but a incredibly petty-minded and vindictive god.

Plus, there are like 3000 gods, so what makes the christian one the right one? If you were born in a middle eastern culture, you would be saying that Allah is the only true God. If you were born in place like India you would only believe Lord Shiva to be the true god. If you were born in Japan, you would believe Buddha to be the true god and all others to be wrong.

You only believe christian one be true because you happen to be born in that particular culture.

Politics / Ghanaians And Nigerians Living In Ghana, Who Will You Vote For In 2024? by TorpedoTortilla: 2:31pm On Feb 05, 2023
The NDC where John Mahama will be bought back into power or the NPP vice president, Bawumia, that will succeed Nana Akufo-Addo. Hoping whichever party doesn't screw economy even more than it already is.

The fact that Ghana has been to the IMF 17 times for a bailout since independence and hearing news of Ghana is close to defaulting simply tells me its not worth the investment and that its still economically unstable.

Otherwise can you lot give me African countries that are the best to invest into? I heard ease of doing business in Kenya is the least stressful.

Or probably by next year.

Their nominal GDP jumped from $404 billion in 2021 to now $469 billion while Nigeria went from $440 billion in 2021 to $504 billion in 2022. How can we stop the Kebabs from overtaking us, bros?
Romance / Re: Should Nigerian Women Marry A White Man? - SHOCKING RESPONSES by TorpedoTortilla: 8:07pm On Jan 04, 2023
Nigeria Wedding: Interracial marriages used to be very rare in Nigeria, especially when its with a white man/woman, but lately, lots of Nigerians in Nigeria have began to marry white men and women.

"Most girls prefer to marry a white man for the benefits," says one guy

Would you marry a white man/woman, or out of your race?

Lmfao, dumbass.

Much like Japan, Nigeria is 99.9% black, its extremely rare to see a interracial couple here in Nigeria or a non-black foreigner walking around the place unless you purposely went out of your way to find them in a place like Lagos, Victoria Island where you will likely see 1, 2 or maybe even 3 walking about.

Mkenya2019:
Let me break it down to you. IMF are currently working on your case...to see just how sick your public finances are so they can determine the best way forward

1) "Best" case scenario - Ghana has a liquidity problem - IMF put you in their HDU - for at least 3yrs - you wont be able to access debt market until 2025.
2) Worse case scenario - you have a solvency problem - Ghana go through a protracted debt restructuring - like Zambia is going through - Ethiopia too - recovery will take longer - maybe 5-10yrs. Access to Eurobond in a decade is out of question.

3) Worst case scenario - you do a classic default like Srilanka. Nigeria adopt you and colonize you as they send AID.

Now the questions is which is more likely. #3 is very likely. You have attempted to improve revenues and slash expenditure - nothing doing. You can probably restructure domestic debt but you took a lot of Eurobond - which is very hard to restructure.

So #3 is looking increasingly very likely. Your foreign reserves have dropped from 10B to 9B to 6B - and now I think about 2B in a year. The cedis is depreciating seriously.

The more IMF delay with deal - now very unlikely until 1st Q of 2023 - the worse it will become. By January your gov is likely to have depleted it's forex reserves...and Srilanka will have new company.

Nigeria will be sending Jollof rice...so dont worry

Honest question, is Ghana even worth investing into?

The economy seems unstable and the fact Ghana has gone to the IMF program 17 different times for bailouts. Sounds like I would lose more money than I would actually make there. If so, Kenya seems like the better option here.
