Yaaaay, yes I did. I'm really looking forward to a positive reply from UT.
hakeembee:

Its a plus, it will boost your qualification but then you have to give a concrete reason why you chose to study another bachelors degree.

I actually would've love to, but I didn't meet the requirement.
Skymoore1004:
I believe that is it unwise to invest in a second bachelors. Seek for progression.

Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by tosiiNO: 4:04pm On Apr 22, 2020
What if you stated in the motivation letter that you've previously studied a bachelor's degree with supporting document, does it pose as a red flag?
hakeembee:

1) Yes, even if you are in your 70's grin grin grin
2) Yes but depending on your department or current school rules as at when you apply
3) If it is bachelors degree, i believe it might be possible but you need to ask the school by sending them emails.
God bless you

Hello guys, I've been having issues with Seneca College refunding my tuition fee. Here's the last message I got from them:

Your refund money has been reversed to Seneca College. Out of three credit card payments, only $3,000 paid on October 31,2019 was reversed.
Please confirm the reason with original credit card issuer (same as the one which student paid for his/her tuition fee with) and send us the following document;

A copy of Credit Card statement showing Card Holder’s Name ( Master Card), Transaction date/amount and Issuer’s Name ( same credit card that student used for tuition payment)
Explanation note why your credit card payment was reversed (i.e. card is declined etc.)
Completed “Request for Tuition Fee Refund” form (This is NOT “Refund by Wire Transfer” form)
Completed “Refund by Wire Transfer” form (Please TYPE/WRITE legibly. Do not use cursive writing. If your country adopts IBAN, put IBAN in Credit Account # area)

Please note that we would like to confirm and return your refund fund by wire transfer to the country of origin and to the same beneficiary) if the credit card was issued outside of Canada. We could issue a cheque only if the credit card was issued in Canada.

Please refer to our policy and documents downloadable from:

http://www.senecacollege.ca/international/apply/withdrawals-refunds-deferrals.html

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Upon receiving all the required documents/information, the refund will take approximately 6-8 weeks. If more information is needed, you will be contacted. Incomplete requests or missing information will delay the refund process.

What does it mean please guys?

NOTE: I paid $3,000, $3,000, $1,814 CAD respectively with my credit card. What am I supposed to do now? I'll appreciate your kind responses. Thank you very much

Hi guys, what's the best program someone with a 2.12 Cgpa can go for? Is it too low for pgd/c or post baccalaureate programs?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 11:43pm On Jan 13, 2020
About this, is it possible to go ahead for masters immediately after a pgd/c program?
Naijaforeigner:

Do you have work experience? There is really no point doing another Bsc except you have the money.

Try colleges for PGD or universities for a Post baccalaureate Diploma (PBD) program. On the completion of your PBD, you can go ahead and do your masters.

Yes a non relative can sponsor you but you need to give good reasons why such an individual wants to commit huge funds towards your studies.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 10:57am On Jan 09, 2020
Thank you. You've been far too kind. But won't the visa officer think that the both of them aren't correlated?
Qudkom:

Yes definitely. Especially if you claim to be self employed.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 8:48am On Jan 09, 2020
Also, is Lambton college a good one and is it compulsory to send official transcript with application?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 7:42am On Jan 09, 2020
Hi guys.
Is it possible for me to show that I run a mobile kitchen business as proof of ties even when I'm going to study for an HRM course?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 8:42pm On Jan 05, 2020
Thanks Dam
damidam:
You're welcome. It would not pose a red flag if you do your research and read on relationships between the two courses. Good luck
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 5:21pm On Jan 05, 2020
Thank you very much for this Dami. I've actually seen lots of schools with courses in Hrm. I was just scared it might pose as a red flag to the visa officer.
damidam:
Human resource management is deeply connected with sociology, because the main responsibility of the Human Resources Manager lies in finding a personal approach to each employee, creating a friendly social environment in relations between workers and management, encouraging workers to do their best and managing the company. So you can consider a PGD in HRM too. All you need to do is a lot of research on schools that offers this course and check for their admission requirements.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by tosiiNO: 4:45pm On Jan 05, 2020
Thank you so much, I really appreciate. Truth is I've been searching, but I've not seen any school with pgd in sociology. What about Human Resources Management?
damidam:
Why not just go for a pgd in sociology? Well
Below are sociology related courses you can apply for
Social policy, migration and super diversity
Criminology
Media and Communication
Gerontology
Archaeology
Ethnology and Folklore
Global Conflict and Peace processes
International Relations
Religion and Society
Sex, Gender and Violence.
Engage google for more.

Thanks for your reply. I actually made a mistake. I wanted to ask if I can do a grad cert in Hrm with a B.sc in sociology. I'm wondering if it won't pose as a red flag to the Vo.
JustMellow:

Hello TosiiNO,

It won't be a problem going for a GC after a B.sc. But note that its best you go for a course that correlates with your previous studies or work experience. If you have to switch field, have a plan and convincing reasons.

All the best.

Hi guys is it possible for someone with a B.Sc degree to study a graduate certificate program in Human resources management. Won't it pose as a red flag to the visa officer?

Thank you very much. would work on it quote author=JustMellow post=82916615]

They're simply asking you to write the letter to suit the purpose based on your own discretion, which they will authenticate if its satisfying or make certain corrections to it before authenticating. The following points the letter should contain are:

1. The official address of the organization
2. The address of IRCC
3. Introduction
4. Purpose of the letter
5. Exercised role for responsibility
6. Additional information
7. Conclusion

BTW the letter should be at most 500 words - 1 page, and it should be dated.

Look at what I got from one of the organizations I told. ---> Please come up with a draft copy and address it accordingly. We will work with that and revert.

Kind regards.

How should I go about it please?

It adds more credibility to your application if you can include a cover letter to support your claims.

Please gurus in the house, I really need your help. First of all, I graduated with a third class and in light of that I decided to apply for a diploma but unknown to me, I was supposed to apply for a postgraduate diploma (my friend pointed this out to me after she saw my LOA) what do you think about this please?
Secondly, I'm trying to draft my SOP now and I need your advice on how to go about this, I graduated since 2016 and served 2017 and since then I've been teaching, I can't add it because I didn't study education.
Also, I've undergone trainings relating to catering and I also have a registered business on that. Can I add this to my SOP?? Please how do I go about all of this? Help gurus
