OMU RESORT

Omu resort is one of the many beautiful recreational centres for vacation or picnic, located at 1, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Way, Ibeju, Lekki. It is not only built for kids, it is a great hangout spots for adults.

It is a facility packed resort with a zoo, an amusement park, a water park, sea world and a massive car parking facility.

The many adventures in Omu resort includes Go-kart, Quad biking, paintball, Mini-Golf, Archery, Mechanical bull riding, Horse riding, Boat ride, pirate ship, Bouncing castles, Basketball court, Merry rides, roller coaster, Water slides and space ship.

For pictures lover like I am, there are quite a number of sculptures available at the resort, some of which includes Peugeot old model, A big ancient cooking pot, Tallest man(8feets 3inches), crocodile, chimpanzee, and lot more.

Talk of systematized resort, then give it to Omu resort. Provision of tent, table and chairs are made available to tourists, foods and drinks are allowed into the resort with no charge for a group of five but corkage fee for above five.

The Zoo is packed with various species of animals which include; Tortoise, Alligators, Geese, Hyenas, Jackals, Monkeys, Giraffe, Zebra, Porcupines, Lion, Python, Chimpanzees, Horse, Caracal, Peacock and many more, It showcases information about the animals which gives you access to learn more about them. I had the opportunity to watch the Lionness get fed, it was indeed an emotional moment watching the Lionness feed on the 'innocent looking goat'.

The Seaworld is an indoor aquarium with different sections that display several species of fishes such as long nosed elephant fish, African catfish, snakehead fish, reed fish, electric fish, moon fish, mud fish, etc.

Finally, give it up to the baddest DJ, whattttt The DJ at the resort did an amazing job. The way he alternates and synchronize from classical, pop, rock, country songs, hip-hops etc should be studied. The DJ made the time spent at the resort worthwhile. I danced and vibed all through.

All in one, Omu resort has a lot of facilities in place to make your stay a memorable one.

REDLINE LEISURE RESORT

Redline Leisure Resort is an exotic, quintessential and private beach located along Lekki Epe Express way connecting via Abraham Adesanya moving to Okun Ajah Off Ogombo road, Okun Ajah Community, Okunmapo Lagos Nigeria. Due to its distance coming from Mainland, I left early in the morning and arrived at exactly 10am. It was a two hours journey with no traffic lock.

Redline Leisure Resort, has a decent, welcoming, natty and picture perfect entrance to the beach side and its management provides a classy leisure services for its guests.

Redline Leisure resort is well-groomed and provides swimming pool for children and adult seperately, indoor video games room, restaurant and bar, tents , kids play area, mini soccer area, etc

I visited the resort along with my colleagues and I can assure you that cubana, huts, gazeboa and VIP glass home is available for rentage which gives you a wide view of the surrounding.

Did I mention that there is an in house disc jockey available at the resort. Yes! For all the music lovers and dancers, the DJ at the resort did justice and made our visit to the beach worthwhile.

There are couple of activities that can be done on the seashore;
1. Horse riding; I had a beautiful experience riding on the horse after a very long time.
2. Games; Games like football, sack racing, sand castle building, kite flying, quaddleball, tug of war, flick 'n' sticks, volleyball, etc
3. Taking pictures and making videos of the beautiful cozy environment.

The beach is one of the cleaniest beach I have visited in Lagos. The clarity of the water and the power of the waves sums up the beauty of the beach.

Conclusively, I didn't talk about the gate fee and restuarant menu price list as I visited with my colleagues and we came in with our foods and drinks, which is allowed. You can contact @redlineleisure for bookings and more information on gatefee which isn't more than 1,000 naira I guess. I can asure you that Redline Leisure Resort is a pleasant beach to visit in Lagos.

A visit to Landmark beach, Lagos.

Landmark beach is one of the classy beach in Lagos. It's management and orderliness should be studied. Landmark beach is located at 4, Water Corporation Drive, Landmark Village, Victoria Island, Lagos with other business outlets in the same building, the likes of KFC, cinema etc. I didn't have enough time on my side to explore the other outlets at the beach.

Before entering into the beach, you will be requested to provide/get a ticket.  It is advisable to get the ticket online for 2,000 naira only to avoid queues especially during festive period else you'll have to pay the sum of  3,000 naira cash to get the ticket at the beach.

Landmark beach has alot of pictures corner for pictures freaks like me, and honestly that's one of the most interesting part of my visit to the beach. Every corner is picture worthy. �

Also, foods and drinks are not allowed at the beach (was really a sad one for people who weren't aware before hand) but trust the beach provides alot of foods and drinks stand to fill your hunger; grilled chicken / turkey, fries and cocktails which is really affordable.

It houses a whole lot of activities, which includes; Astroturf pitch, beach paintball, coastline board, jet skiing, beach volleyball, adventure course, windsurfing and kitesurfing, kids play area, beach soccer, cabanas and loungers, thug war game etc.

The beach side is also one of my best moments �  The water is cold , very neat and salty as it should be. I had a great time playing in the water with family and new people I met there.

Lest I forget, because I arrived at the beach late in the afternoon,  I wasn't able to rent a chair and beach umbrella because it was sold out.  You can visit their website for current price and method of bookings. (https://www.landmarkbeach.ng/booking/)

Additionally,  there's also ample parking space since the beach entrance is within the Landmark complex and thus relatively safe. There are securities to direct and ask for help regarding direction and any enquiries.

Lastly,  Landmark beach is a nice hangout spot, very relaxing, cozy, comfy and a peaceful escape for those seeking a beach day out.
