Madam Tracy how far na? Any update from Oga pot belly side?
Good evening to you and all my oga's.
I got the full alert today with plenty apologies from the branch manager.it happened that the guy dint try to defraud me but was just not taking his job serious.I told them to pardon him that I have forgiven him though.
Meanwhile I spoke to another manager from another branch and within 2 days the money reflected.
First contact told me to hold on while they investigate and started calling managers but I think they took too long.
The bottom line is ,I am now wiser .
Thanks all.

Madam, any update? Has Oga pot belly paid up? Has he sent your loan documents? Any response from First Bank?
Things have been moving since after the mail I sent copying first contact and cbn.
He first told me to write for the loan to be officially closed and yesterday,he sent a message that I should officially write again that treasury should release my money which I couldn't go yesterday but did it first thing today.
Immediately I walked into the bank, the lady that told me it will take time before and a second lady who told me she doesn't know if the money dropped starting saying "madam why now,why now ,that mail you sent, our boss called and directed we conclude the case asap that's why we told you to come and write yesterday bla bla bla at least you have now seen that indeed treasury withheld your money bla bla bla".but I told them to give me paper to officially write what I came to write and after writing,I told them I am closing the account once the money drops and other accounts I have with first bank and they became cold and I just walked out.
Infact I don't know how this case would have been if I dint involve you guys.
I really appreciate all the advice I got here.
I am now certain an alert will come and
I don't feel guilty cos they are trying to make me.

You need the documents to know what happened to your Tbill money. You also need it as evidence that you actually took a loan from them. Just in case kasala bursts. Don’t let them deceive you. Tell them to make photocopies and scan/send to you immediately. You keep talking about Visa card. How can you go to a bank or police and present visa card as evidence of a loan? What if the guy just opened an account, deposited 1m in it and gave you an ATM card?

Looks like this is the first time you are dealing with a bank and they seem to know that. That is why they are playing games with you. Please try to be more assertive when it comes to your money. Otherwise, people of the world will just chew you up and spit you out.
Thanks for this info
I just sent a mail to first contact and copied cbn.i requested to know why the treasury bill I bought did not drop since September.
Let me start from there.

Things seems getting shaped, wait till Wednesday for them to have things sorted, don't send your drafted email yet. Insist on getting a copy of the contract signed to be sure if the loan you secured has anything connected with your matured tb.

Getting a copy of the signed form is to at least to have something to tender as a proof ,should you eventually need to email the head office. When next you fill such form, always take a photo before submission.
I think the First Bank Visa debit Loan card i am holding is one proof of the loan transaction while the documents I signed is another.
And the date I bought the Tbills and the date it expired was also given to me at the bank by the tbills officer which is still showing in their system when they checked my account statement.
I can still send a mail with these 2 informations.
I will still be patient till Wednesday to see if I will get the money without having to send a mail.
If I dont, then it will be clearer to me and I will take full action as 3 working days is enough to treat an urgent case.

Lazyyouth4u:

You need a copy of the offer letter and loan agreement you signed to understand the transaction you entered into with the bank. It is very important! Ask him to send it to you immediately. From your posts, I am guessing the branch is in a village or far away from the city. Don’t go to them anymore. They are a family and all working together in these runs and they will keep posting you until the pot belly man can raise the funds.

Ask him to send you the offer letter and a copy of the agreement you signed first thing tomorrow morning. Read those documents and if the Tbill is not included as collateral, it means he used your money for business or MBA and you must report him to the police, EFCC, CBN and First Bank Head Office. It is a criminal offence!
I just sent him a text requesting the documents I signed .
I called the customer service lady I met at the head office cos she was working at the branch I signed off the card before it was vandalised and she said the documents will be at the branch I collected the visa debit card an that individuals don't move documents except they take it overnight to give customer to sign and return it to the bank.
But I think the Visa debit card I am holding is enough proof of the loan transaction as the 1m is still there but cant be withdrawn.
For the records.
He works at first bank office at the airport in Enugu and their head office I went to report is in okpara avenue .The head office covers the whole first bank in Enugu state.

Good evening Oga's
Update:
He sent me a message this morning after several missed calls to walk into any first bank and officially write for the Ncc card to be closed. He included a serial number to give to them and said I should tell them to treat as urgent.
So on my way to my phone shop I branched their headquarters and approached the cs people since the ops manager was not on sit.i spoke to the customer service and she said I should have officially written that closure request that september instead of just discussing it with my account officer after checking her system.she also called the guy in my presence and the guy told her I have not been picking his calls. She then said since I have officially written the letter today and signed and my signature comfirmed that I should give her 2 days to complete the whole thing and that my money will surely enter my account and that she is certain the guy dint trade with my money.
I also requested for a copy of the documents I signed and she said I am meant to have only the offer letter that the one I signed was bank's copy.well,I told her I only got the visa card with no offer letter.
Now that I have officially written,I intend to give them few days to process it so that when I write to the head office and copy Cbn,I will have something tangeable to hold since I never officially requested the termination until today.
The question is : should I press further for the documents I signed or I should forget it for now?

Then, if you guys still insist I write first Bank and copy cbn,I can still do it right now as the message I already typed is still in my draft.

Pls listen to the advice of the operation head and thread cautiously while they resolve the issue. Don't write the bank headquarters or CBN yet pls, because it's not only his big tummy that will fired, several jobs will be lost in his unit, promotions affected, sanctions here and there etc. In the end, kids will suffer from several angles. There's more to his greed and lack of unprofessional conducts I may not be able to state here, but just playin to the advice of his boss while you get your investment back, learn lessons and move on.
Thanks I don't think I can bear it beyond Monday.

Why I said it is nothing is because I made that money myself and I still have the capacity to make 10 times more once I am alive and I keep saving and compounding.

@Tracyorez, there are things you are still not telling us. You might have had some flirtation with your banking officer, and you became so emotional and trusted him enough to control your account. And this guy must really be a tall and handsome guy with good English, correct me if I am right.

Have you ever wondered why most female bank customers are given males as their banking officers, while male customers always have beautiful damsels as their banking officers?

Banking is a very big business, and in Nigeria, it is a bit more than just a business. If you know you know.

You wouldn't have been in this mess if you had had a female banking officer.

I once had a pretty damsel as a banking officer, her voice and smile could even make Romeo to cheat on Juliet. Unknowingly, I started falling in love helplessly, if not for God and a friend who also had some experience in the past, I would have just been a victim.

To all the wealthy guys in the house, if you can, just try to avoid your wife having a male banking officer or gynaecologist or fitness trainer.
Lol. He is opposite of all you listed. He is in his 40s with big tummy, married with 4 kids.My husband is rich and In his late 30s and has all you listed.I am less than 30 so do the maths.
And moreover,my hubby told me after our wedding that if I cheat on him,he will put a bullet in my brain and I believe him cos I new he meant it when I looked into his eyes that night and he makes sure that I lack nothing.

There was no loan from First Bank jare. The guy got an interest free loan from his employer and probably loaned it to the customer at 24% and also did fast deal with with the customers fund ie the Treasury Bill purported to have been used as a collateral

This in itself is fraudulent. You asked some bank staff to be transferring money from your account without you signing it?
So you cannot request access to the banks mobile app/internet banking and do the transfers yourself.
How do you think he did the transfers? Of course he forged your signature because he would not even have the access to effect funds transfer on their system.

Nonsense!!! There's other staff involved in this fraud and she's trying to protect them.

I will still them 2moro if I don't hear from them, then I will use the opportunity to request for the loan documents
To be honest,I am being hesitant to write the mail because I know it might lead to his firing and I don't want any one to loose his or her means of livelihood on my account.
But if after tomorrow and I am not comfortable with the ops manager's handling of the case,I WILL have no option than to mail their head office in Lagos and copy cbn

Update

I just left first bank's head office in my state and I spoke with the operations manager.

She begged me not to write to first contact and copy cbn that the guy is a family man and that his salary and position is too high for what he is doing.
She said he will be fired if I SEND that mail that I should give her today and tomorrow to talk to the guy and let him know the implication of what he is doing and that everything will be reversed and she took my number.
Meanwhile,I tried printing out a new tbills cert but the lady in charge told me she can't print as it has expired in september but she checked her system and gave the the date I invested and the date it expired. She asked me a few questions and said she will mail treasury head and copy the guy to find out what is happening.
Good thing is "he is still their staff and not yet fired" cos someone said earlier here that I should pray he is still with them
The operations manager also confirmed he is having marital issues right now but also said it is not enough reason to tamper with my money.

I wanted to send it last night and realised I have to include date I invested and expiry date which I need the print out to confirm first.
So I will have to go to the bank and get another print out before I can proceed with the mail that was why I gave him till 12 noon.
I see that he is shivering so like you said earlier, the loan may not be connected with the tbills which I will find out from their head office today, when I go for the print out because I will ask for a manager and report the case to him or her first.
And he will have to explain how the alert of 500 plus he credited me with came about cos thats not the account on the tbills certificate.

Okay. I'm also interested in setting up a biz in that line. Had to understudy the market at Computer village for just 3 months and currently understudying the online side of it.

Don't know if we can somewhere join two good heads. Already I'm in d process of registration with CAC.
I don't know what to tell you but you need to have a passion for the business you do,not just money.
For example my hubby prefers I open a drug store or pharmacy and employ a pharmacist,I know it's profitable but I don't have a passion for it so I declined the offer and opened the one I love instead and it is favouring me so far by the grace of God.
I have experience as I have worked with several phone companies as a single girl e.g Nokia,Samsung and blackberry offices.
It will be better if you run it yourself and employ 1 or 2 persons for a start to understand the biz first.we are all learning, including me.
I hope this helps.
Plus,if you have a trusted person in china,South Korea or dubai to be importing phones and accessories, especially accessories for you then you are made.

Your relationship with your account officer is no longer official, how can you ask him to transfer money from your account without you signing to show you approved the transaction.

In short you have handed over to account to your account officer, the next thing is that he will be the one getting alerts for transactions on the account.

I just hope this relationship is strictly business
It is strictly business.

Update.
I got alert of 500k on the account he opened for me and not the one I used for the tbills transaction last night after bringing it here.
I called him this morning as it was already late that yesterday and he said he thought it was the complete money that was reversed.
I told him the account is not the one In the tbills certificate and that I am giving him till 12 noon to reverse my whole money or I will take it up.
He started begging that he is in a hospital now that I should give him small time and almost crying but I dropped the call.
If I don't get my full alert by 12 noon today,I will visit his head office.

Is it possible for a bank worker to sign on a customer's behalf? Not sure of that.
Send email to firstcontact... Google their email and ask why your tb has not been paid to you. Do that this night, it takes about 2 days for them to respond so the earlier the better. I suggest you talk about your TB and not the loan as I want to believe the 2 transactions are separate from each other, if they are not let them be the ones to tell you how they are related.
Ok thanks.

Well, you may have to formally cancel it in writing to get back your money. The prepayment/cancellation process is stated in the loan documents. Ask the guy (or his manager) for a copy of your loan documents or better still just tell them you want to cancel the loan and get your money ASAP. If you can’t get a hold of them, then call their head office or customer care folks. You can also go to the office you signed the loan documents in to speak with them.
He called me to come and official write for it to be cancelled 2 weeks ago at a branch that was very far from me,I then told him to write on my behalf and sign with my initials which he called me back to tell me it was done that it was just a matter of days.
This is 2 weeks ago.
I even tried withrawing from the loan account October ending and discovered that it has already been blocked with the complete money in it.
They blocked it and still held mine.this is just plain wickedness.

He did not give me any copy.
The loan is meant to run for 3 years but I clearly told him I won't need it beyond September and he said I can cancel it then.
It's a visa card that will expire the year 2023.

If you have fully repaid the loans, then there’s no reason why they should be holding on to the 4.5m. You should go and speak with his manager. If the bank is the one still holding on to the money, they should pay you interest for the additional months (September till whenever it hits your account). Make sure to mention this to them.
His branch was burnt though not fully burnt but the damage is huge.can I report at their head office?
