Well, concerning the subject matter, I'm glad that you have realize that the life outside Christ is meaningless because that it is the gospel truth.

Now know this that there is a human life or the earthy life and there is the God life or the divine life

The human life is subjected to death while the God life is the life of immortality

The human life is the life you were born with and you got this life from Adam through your earthly father while the God life is the life you get from God through His Son LORD JESUS CHRIST

St. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Now, because All men came from Adam, that means the curse of Adam automatically befell all men

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ezekiel 18:20 the soul that sinneth shall die...

This is why for any man to be free from the curse of Adam that man needs to be born again with a new life, and this new life is not from Adam through your earthly father but from God through LORD JESUS CHRIST

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

This is why Salvation must be preached to all men because no matter the good deeds you do while on earth, if you still have the life and nature of Adam, you are bound to hell

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Now, you might ask how did LORD JESUS bring this eternal life since all men are subjected to death because of Adam transgression 🤔

LORD JESUS came to earth as God in human flesh (yes he is God in human flesh because he didn't come through the bloodline of Adam but came directly from God, He only needed the flesh to oprate in this world that is why He passed through Mary so that he can have a flesh like any other human being but even tho he had the human flesh, he never had the human life because the life he had while walking the street of Galilee was the very Life of God and because of that he couldn't sin and his sinless nature made Him to be the perfect subtitute for the whole mankind and so He took the place of all mankind on the cross and beared the curse of all mankind that came through Adam transgression and because of that in the eyes of the law all mankind were no longer subjected to the curse of Adam

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

but here is the catch, Salvation would not be completed if LORD JESUS was not raised from the dead, because the Resurrection usher in a new type of life and this is the Eternal Life that came from God.


This is why eventho LORD JESUS CHRIST has paid the full price of sin for all mankind, those who didn't believe in Him and His works will still perish because they don't have this Eternal life 😢

St. John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.



1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Note that LORD JESUS CHRIST main aim on earth was to Give us this eternal life but for us to accept this eternal life, one must first of all pay the full price of sin of the human life which you got from Adam, that is why LORD JESUS CHRIST had to die for all mankind so that we don't need to pay the full price inorder to accept this Eternal Life.

St. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Now all we have to do is to confess with our mouth that LORD JESUS CHRIST is the SON OF GOD (i.e God in human flesh) and we believe with our heart that He died for our sins that we got from Adam and after 3 days God raised Him from the dead for our justification, we will be saved (ie have the Eternal Life of God)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You see that having the eternal life of God is very easy all Thanks to LORD JESUS CHRIST for paying the ultimate price for the sins of the human life we got from Adam

this is is why it is called the Gospel (Gospel means Good news because we don't need to die first inorder to pay for the sin we were born with before we can receive the Eternal Life of God, this is because we believe LORD JESUS CHRIST has paid the full price for our sins already and so we declare openly for the whole world to hear that since LORD JESUS CHRIST has paid the full price for our sins, we are no longer bound to the sinful human life that we were born with but now we can receive the eternal life of God freely From LORD JESUS CHRIST)

That is what being born again is all about (being born with a new life Again but this new life came from God through LORD JESUS CHRIST just like the old life you were born with came from Adam through your earthly Father)

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Now if You want to be Born Again and have the very life and nature of God in you, you believe and say this prayer with All your heart

Say 'O LORD GOD, I Believe LORD JESUS is the Son of God, I confess that I am a sinner and I Believe that You Sent Your Son to die for my sins and I Believe that after 3 days, You raised Him from the dead for my justification
I confess with my mouth that I am saved, I am a Child of God and I now have the eternal Life of God Living inside of me.
I declare that You are my Lord of my life from now and Forevermore Amen 🙏 '

If you say this prayer I want to say congratulations that you are now a Child of God and you now have the Eternal Life of God flowing through your veins as we speak.

Good morning dear friends, I welcome you to another teaching this morning and I pray that the knowledge of God will transform us into His image In Jesus name. Today, our topic is; “Jesus on the Cross”. It is specific about Jesus on the cross not Jesus on the way to the cross or Jesus before He got arrested but Jesus on the cross. There are some things about Him on the cross that God wants us to know. I pray that God will open our eyes and hearts to receive from Him in Jesus name. There are eight significant things Jesus did on the cross and they will discussed in no particular order in this teaching.

1. Jesus bore our sins on the cross: Hebrews 9:11-15
So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. [12]With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. [13]Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. [14]Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. [15]That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant. NLT.

Jesus was without sin but He offered Himself as the sacrificial lamb of the whole world by bearing the sins of the world on Himself so that we can be free from sin. 2 Corinthians 5:21: For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. NLT.
Jesus was perfect but God made Him our sin offering so that we can be made right with God. Thus, we are not made right with God by virtue of what we have done but by what God has done for us. Ephesians 2:8-10: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. [9]Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. [10]For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. NLT.

The selfless act of Jesus on the cross captures the content of John 3:16-17 perfectly, it was done out of love for His creation who could not help themselves out of their sins.

2. Jesus pleaded for forgiveness for people on the cross: Luke 23:34
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. NLT.

When Jesus was hung on the cross in between two thieves, He pleaded to God to forgive the ignorance of all who shouted crucify Him and those that nailed Him. He did not ask for their death or severe punishment, instead He pleaded for mercy because He is merciful.

3. He gave eternal life: Luke 23:39-43
One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, “So you’re the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself—and us, too, while you’re at it!” [40]But the other criminal protested, “Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? [41]We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” [42]Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” [43]And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” NLT.

To prove that He is God, Jesus promised paradise to the thief on the right hand side depicting that He has power to give eternal life to anyone that asks for it.

4. He fulfilled every prophecy: John 19:28-30
Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” [29]A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. [30]When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit. NLT.

This is a two in one action performed by Jesus, He knew what was written about Him and He made sure to fulfil all while on the cross, He left no stone unturned, he fulfilled everything even to the minor detail just for our redemption to be complete.

5. He relied heavily on the Father: Matthew 27:46
At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” NLT.

This is another two in one action in which Jesus performed by showing His reliance on the Father when He was on the cross. When He could not feel the presence of God, He called out to Him, and when He was about to die, He committed His life into His hands. Jesus, though He was equal with God, relied on God for the work of our salvation because He did it not in His heavenly glory but in the flesh as a man.

6. He showed compassion: John 19:26
When Jesus saw his mother standing there beside the disciple he loved, he said to her, “Dear woman, here is your son.” NLT.

Jesus as a man felt everything in terms of emotion and He had compassion for His earthly mother. This shows that He is compassionate and He is aware of our feelings and the things we go through. Consequentially, because He is aware of our feelings, He cares about them and He gives us what we need as long as they align with His desire even before we ask for them.

These are the things Jesus, did on the cross, He did not retaliate while He was persecuted, instead He prayed for those that crucified Him, He showed compassion, He relied on the Father to get through the process, He bore the sins He did not commit, and He fulfilled all prophecies written about Him. This is our saviour who did all He had to do to secure our liberty. Therefore, it is crucial that you give your life to Him in response to His mercy and love. If you are reading this and you have not given your life to Him, I urge you to do so by saying this prayer wholeheartedly; Lord Jesus, I confess you as my Lord and saviour today, please save me and be my lord and bring me into your fold. Amen. If you have recited the prayer wholeheartedly, I congratulate you and I welcome you to the family of God. Make sure you join a bible believing church as you start your journey in Christ.
