Hello everyone, had my biometrics done on the 10th of july but yet to receive a message to pick up..at this point am thinking of calling for my passport cos i need to travel next week..please one had their biometrics around this day, please have u received yours?

My wife submitted her's and our son same day (10th July). Got an email today that wifey's passport ready for collection but didn't receive any for son.

Could it be that son's own is ready too, considering fact that passport went together in the same bag (different GWFs)?

Going tomorrow to go pick-up (Abuja). Please house what's your take on this?

Is there a reason at all you think this won't fly? On the surface, it looks a done deal though as much as the basics were appropriately covered, like; form filling, no previous issues with them (and even with the US), eldest child/children being on holiday at the time, sound account running despite the N5m balance in wifey's account, etc....

Thanks OmoB...

Sure would let the house know the outcome. Best

Hello All,

Great forum as always.
Just want to ask about your opinion on my chances.
I just applied for my family:

Me: Been to U.S 3times (Bus.,/leisure),
Been to UK 3times (Business) still
with valid standard visa

Wifey: Been to US 3 times (2 holiday trips, 1 birthing)

Child 1: No history, under 12

Child 2: U.S Citizen)
Child 3: U.S Citizen). TRIPLETS
Child 4: U.S Citizen)

I applied explaining I already have a visa but it's a family holiday, I will be supporting with £1k as wifey is sole applicant with a total budget of £4.5k. Hotels booked, some family fun tickets purchased, others will be on entrance(communication with event centres sbmitted also), wifey statement 5mm. Your kind response is appreciated

Thanks

Honestly, I don't understand Canada. They have no reason to refuse your visa with your profile. I'm currently in the UK and have applied for Canada visit visa for a summer institute, I pray to have a different story.

There is visa office in London, going there for biometrics on Wednesday.

You mean I can reapply from UK here and have biometrics done anywhere I am?(London). Like you did? Are you UK resident, used UK address for your application? Please explain. Thanks for concern.

Hello there,

I'm in the same boat, I have received an email yesterday (more than 24hrs ago) from cic that I should sign on to my account to check my updated status.

I did, couldn't find any message, even from vfs text/email for anything. My app was online, submitted 12th March, biometrics 13th March. Please what could be happening? Any experience? Thanks all

its not a problem, usually you are given i guess 30 days from when they send you passport request mail to submit your passport and am sure you should be back before then since you are not residence in UK ba?

Hello all, I've been reading and all is useful. Great contribution from the gurus and time commitment is commendable. I like to be guided on this please: I applied for a Canada TRV since March 12th for a conference, I run a charity org here in naija. Now I'm in the UK, I had to travel for another event. What happens if Im asked to submit my passport, what do I do then or now if the call to submit passport comes before my return to naija? I did online app.

Thank you
