Politics / Re: 75mw Solar Power Project To Be Ready 2017 by travexx: 1:12pm On Jul 09, 2016
[quote author=KingsCity post=47352524]if a solar plant can deliver as much as 75MW @ a cost of $146m, then why don't we build build 200 of such plants across the country to get 15000MW and forget about militants and gas powered plants?[/quote

While you happily multiplied 200 by 75MW to give you 15000MW, you forgot to multiply the cost which is $146 by 200 which should give you $29billion.
Politics / Re: Deregulation: Petrol Consumption Falls By 30%, Says FG by travexx: 12:53pm On Jul 09, 2016
mistasameer:

Actually it doesn't affect GDP in the way which you have portrayed. Gross Domestic Product roughly explained is a measure of the monetary total exports of all goods and the services by a country in a given fiscal year. The drop will better be explained by the fact that since deregulation, it has become less/marginally profitable for profiteers who would usually smuggle fuel already subsidized to "neighboring" countries to sell.

What school did you learn your economics??

You said GDP is "measure of the monetary total exports of all goods and services by a given country in a given year".

By you definition, since our GDP as at 2014 was $510 BILLION, then that figure is equal to our total exports of goods and services.

Sorry sir, you need to go back to school.

GDP is Gross Domestic Production. which actually means the total assumed monetary value of the productivity of a given country in a specific time. So all productivity whether exported, imported or consumed locally adds up to GDP.

kingzfarms:
yes for height and maturity period for more info call d number on d post!

Stop this nonsense and give out info.
When you keep telling people to call you instead of answering their questions, then you begin to look like you have sinister motives.

Its even terrible for your business. The most important factor in closing any deal no matter how big or small is TRUST. And the best way to build trust is to give qualitative information about what you are offering. If people's appetites are whetted by the info you've provided, they will call you happily and even refer others to call you too.

Just gave you a few lessons if you really want to suceed at anything.

Agriculture / Re: Snail Hub--- Where Buyers Meet Sellers And Learn For FREE! by travexx: 10:48am On Jul 03, 2016
One big question:
Snails are a very fecund animal---that is they have a high rate of productivity--I hear one snail can produce close to 200 offsprings at once. How come snails are very expensive despite their high rate of fecundity??
Is it that there is scarcity on Snails or is it very difficult to rear?

I'd like to know?
